need some help guys on all the tracks and no matter what car mod or original the shadows dance like crazy never had this before cant upload an mp4 file from my phone but it looks like Christmas tree.

it has something to do with the CSP but if I go back to the 1.60 I have a black sky but no more flickering shadows

Ok, thanks.. I foud this video minutes ago and already tested it. I did everything like he did in the video, but did not noticed any differences while driving. hm..

I read about a option to tick in drive menu in content manager "use extended physics", but I cannot find this option. I installed the full version, latest update. Please tell me where to find such an option. Thanks again!

I seem to be having an issue with terrain textures not loading properly~but that might just be because they aren't loading properly and/or are currently unfinished.

Also, does anyone know what causes long GrassFX to flicker madly when half in shadow, and if there's a box somewhere that needs ticking to solve it? It drives me crazy.

yup still very much WIP the "rock" is a seperate mesh currently, I had to completely reassociate textures because the mesh had to be joined and the UV's remapped to allow for a single texture. in the AMS2 version its a single texture which I have been trying to recreate but cannot find any good contiguous sat images, the best is from google historic sat but it has cloud shadows all over it, will replace the texture in V0.000002 after I have some time to photoshop out the shadows.

Did not show up for me in CM.. is there a special CM version needed?

activated dev mode, registered my CM and got latest version 0.8.2226.37393 installed. I only see "Tyre blankets" and below "Car-specific controls"

ok hang on lemme look through my CM options

Ok go into Settings/content Manager/DRIVE (down the left hand menu)

Under QUICK DRIVE there should be an item named Allow to use patch car's data to activate extended physics.
Tick that and then restart your CM

Here we go again with the wipers not working again this time i wanted to experiment with an third wiper but again when i do the wiper animation it doesn't work i even tried to put the [WIPERS_TRACE_...] in the ext_config.ini but nothing as expected i have no idea what's causing it to not wipe properly as i animated it in 3DS Max

The Monaco_1966_1.2 version is quite nice. The large Longlife sign above the step-up (tabac) left hander fades into white as one approaches this area. This sign starts fading white from the top left moving to the right as one approaches. Is there someone with a fix (a file to add, please) of this Longlife sign so that it stays solid visibly as one approaches it? Thanks.

From time 11:25 he starts to describe how to include rain physics into the car physics. You have to have the full version of Content Manager to be able to do it.

This was necessary in August when this video was made. Quite a while ago this was made unnecessary, and in the most recent versions of CSP all you have to do is check the ‘use extended physics’ tab (and make sure it’s global) and all cars will have rain physics when it’s raining. No need at all to edit every car.

Tracks do need RainFx lines to show the water on the track, but without, the water is there you just can’t see it

Imo every time you update to newer CSP RainFx preview you have to do it again. That´s why a made an archive of it, for better convenience. :D

Small tip:

delete the following lines in the guids.txt (make a backup!!!):

{2af6b05c-7a33-4447-8cf5-b3da113bb811} event:/extension_common/rain_car_ext
{ff2f965a-7c63-42ea-a94b-128075cac87d} event:/extension_common/rain_car_int

You won´t hear these annoying rain sounds any longer during driving, so only the wiper trace sounds are noticable. For me, this is a must. ;)

has not been in my CM for ages, just dissapeared one day and never been back. any clue on getting it back again?

nup all goneski. I think it happened around the time he released the beta CM, its since updated to a regular newer version, but its still missing.. ahh well.. reinstall CM maybe.
 
Is there any way to see that car has rain physics?Or see all of them in CM?

not that I am aware of. It's tracks that need the extension or config lines, not the cars.

if you have extended physics enabled in CM all cars will have it.

Hey guys, is there any way to create new categories in content manager(example in the picture added). I really want to sort out my cars, and I'm not talking about tags, they are helpful to an extent but not too great. Any help is appreciated.



How I categories my CM is type in title box highlighted in yellow what category/glass the car is for example below GT3 and it will categories your mods in alphabetical order on left hand column in CM.

Thanks! I will tick this option and try any car without editing it.

But let me ask another question. What are AC´s rain physics in detail in behavior? How do I feel this physics? Aquaplaning f.e. can u feel it in AC? Which trak to try?

Would be great if someone can tell me where to download rainFX for all the Kunos tracks and some of the outstanding mod tracks.. ?
