Would you please tell me how to get a proper anti-aliasing with CSP? I tried "temporal aa" within "EXTRA FX" but this gave me a ghosting effect and I will not use it anymore. Setting AC to 8x aa did not change a lot. I still got a lot of edges around objects. How to you set your CSP?
 
Quite a nice little Mk1 Ford Escort popped up on AL, converted from NFS Shift 2 (but don't hold that against it). Sufficiently different to the Kunos one if you like these types of cars and great fun to drive in an old-school analogue way.
Glass seems set up for rain but it's missing working wipers - anyone here with the necessary time and skills to add these please?
It might benefit from an AO pass too.

Another bunch of skins for one of my favorite mods, the Volkswagen scirocco_gc10_v6. These are variations of some real liveries from various racing series, old and new, with my artistic license applied and some purely fictional just for fun.

The shutter normal's are outside so the textures will only be displayed outside in max you can try to clone the object and then flip the normals for the cloned object if there's any Z fighting try to move the cloned flipped normal part down a bit.

With Spa Grand Prix in just a few days I have created a complete overhaul of this Kunos track




Hope this will help skin creators :)

Brilliant, this needed doing years ago. Please continue with other Kunos tracks.
 
I just tried the 1935 Aston Martin Ulster from RTM, the physics are definitely way off. The car is too easy to drive, it makes no sense to have so much grip with old, narrow tires.
 
speaking of rtm... can someone help me out on this one?
1938 alfa .. i wanted to create LODs .. the base model has like 1200k polys...
but the lod generator says the hi res cockpit is missing? how can i reduce this mess to make it somewhat playable?

I adjusted the distance of the digital instruments so that they are nearer to the panel. Otherwise it's very distracting in VR.

Well i have recently joined the god awful club which is the dreaded "anti aliasing doesn't work and affects all games"
There is even a discord for it, never knew it existed, and wish i didn't have to know it existed.

Basically this issue of which there is no solution, is terrible on AC as its not great to begin with.

So spare a thought for me and thousands of others. Discord and various things online even say whole new systems changes nothing, crazy talk of things like electricity supply to property causing it....

All i know is it happened a week ago and thought it was AC / CSP but turns out its not.

I was about to upgrade my whole system but this has put me off now.

I have tried every possible 'fix' even swapping out GPU to different one, different drivers, clean driver installs the lot. New surge protectors...

If you want to reduce the polys on the model you can do it either in MAX or in Blender in max you can use the ProOptimizer modifier after you activated go down and select all three keep material boundaries, keep textures and keep UV's then you can calculate it calculate it then from 100% you can go down and calculate again this will reduce the poly's on the model. But i would rather do it in blender via the decimate modifier there you can reduce the polys while not making the model look like a bunch of broken polygons like in max via ProOptimizer. I use Decimate in blender to reduce the polys on the model while i use ProOptimizer in max for Lods.

I'm 100% down for this - but to make it a realistic BOP for the AFC South the Jaguars should have a massive restrictor added, the Colts should have their damage and tyre wear multiplier set to max, the Texans shouldn't be allowed to adjust their setup until thirty seconds before the race, and the pit crew should be busy getting 47 massages whenever you try do a pit stop, and the Titans should have their aggression set to max and consistently brake 100 yards short of every brake zone.

Probably not obvious, but I'm a Colts fan haha.

Both options are only good to make Lods. They both break the topology of the model, if you want to reduce polygons you need to do that manually to not **** the model up.

Besides, why do people still care about rtm mods and try to fix them? There is so much to fix that it's quicker to remake them from zero or just forget about them

I have this strage issue on Barcellona Circuit... Do you know if there's a way to fix it? The tower, grandstands and bridges disappear when you go on that part of the pit-lane... Honestly, I don't think it's a LOD problem and Idk if the problem was there before since I don't use so much this track. What do you guys think?


 
Does anyone know if there was ever a fix posted to reduce the amount of bouncing around that the porsche_911_gt3_r_2019_sprint mod does? I think it's crash's version that i'm trying to use. If not, is there another version out there I could use instead?
