ACU MEXICO 2021 V1.50 Update

best to delete previews version to avoid conflict,
  • New Marshalls lights ( 2021 standard - with working flash light )
  • New Lights start module ( 2021 standard - no working lights )
  • New roof on small grandstand on last corner
  • Darker a little the grass texture ( grass fx included )
  • Fix to podium stand to avoid z-fighting 3d objects )
  • Shaders tweaks here and here
  • Return of crowd flags as optional .kn5 ( enable by default on model.ini )

Im waiting now for Pyyer extension to complete the Mexico 2021 experience ;)

This tutorial covers animation of windscreen wipers but it's the same process for other animations, I used it when first creating active aerodynamic animations for example. It's step by step and easy to follow:

I looking for this car LMP3 before 2020 :
- Ave-Riley AR-02 (I have Riley Multimatic Gibson MK30 but LMP2)
I have Adess 03, Ginetta LMP3, Ligier LMP3, Norma M30 (AC Forum SK)

Anyone else it's expering a freezing during the loading screen of Laguna Seca on CSP 0.1.76 Preview 136?
The track it's not loading anymore and I'm forced to shut down my PC because it won't let me take any more action. This happen with every car so far so I don't know what to do anymore😩

That was The-IC, but he hasn't posted on RD for a long time and the last video update was about 16 months ago. Maybe offer some encouragement or enquire about progress in the YouTube comments, he might be updating it behind the scenes. Who knows. It looked to be progressing well so it's odd that development seemed to stop.



He's also responsible for one of my favourite fictional circuits, Majura Valley Motorsports Park, which was in the process of being completely overhauled and looked close to release before everything went very quiet.
Again, some comments of encouragement can't do any harm.

I forgot about that--I had actually installed it, creating an Evo copy that is parented by the original Kunos car.
BTW, the snorkel extension is not mine. See the RD page for the author's name.

I tried this and especially with this skin since this car comes with the snorkel (this car also comes with a wider rear wing) it looks more complete now :).

The issue with the snorkel is that it doesn't appear with the other LODs, I tried looking through the ext config wiki and there's nothing on LODs. Also, texture wise, it's only one-sided. I know the author mentioned that it needs more work, and I'm looking forward to the update :D

This is more like there's no left or right sections of the texture. The snorkel's texture is only one-sided, and it is used on both sides.

The best thing would be for someone to edit the Evo version created with the RD update--
+++++ Add the snorkel to the car's KN5 so it also shows up in the SHOWROOM and rendered PREVIEWS +++++

And maybe renaming the file to match the folder name? IIRC all the .kn5 files for the cars I have used have the same name as the folder name. Not sure if that's mandatory though.
So try to rename it to: acfsk_norma_m30.kn5

Not that I know, the 2020 LMP3 mods are worked on by ACFSK and I think they will release the pack at the end of 2021 or in the beginning of 2022.

An RD member requested a look at this track. AI seemed a little slow for some reason. I tested, then reworked all four layouts, and tested some more. I like the track, it's pretty cool. Four layouts.

no issue here
 
the packs are on their discord. the issue is with the two nissan lmp3's. they have broken lods where one car suddenly turns dark and the other turns invisible.

LMP3 Adess 03 Nissan

one also has issues with the mirror.

yeah, the website is quite old I'm afraid, the cars of Rollovers aren't great either there are better versions out there from URD, etc.
If you absolut want the Rollover cars, try the ACFSK packs on their discord, which are the Rollovers cars with some improvements.

Yeah we gave up on them (both Rollover and ACFSK updated) for a LMP3/GTE mashup league championship. The only one that feels OK (but looks pretty bad) is the Ligier JSP3, the rest seem to have broken LODs and there's no BOP. The Ligier has caused lots of problems though as it is virtually impossible to launch and so causes carnage at race starts

did you try the updated version by protofb, seemed ok to me on a brief test. that and the norma by Kunos/Valentin seem to be the only decent lmp3's if im not mistaken.
