A big thank you to the modder' s community that are making Assetto Corsa an "immortal" piece of software.
I have read that is possible to implement deformable track barriers. I kindly suggest to the talented members of this forum to explore and experiment something in this direction.
It would be fantastic to loose control on top of the virtual Eau Rouge and splash the car with a realistic impact :-)
I have prepared an update for latest Estoril 2021 with soft collision deforming tyre walls.

Update will roll out soon, after some more testing - let's say until the weekend. @ClaudioWRC74 and @CrisT86 need to receive this update for testing before releasing it

Have in mind though that this implementation requires extended track physics to be enabled and this requires the patreon builds of csp.

Extension will include (for now) : billboards, new concrete walls, fence markers (DRS and distance), dynamic Rolex clock, extended pits building, lot of new bridges and more...

Not sure, looks like it may have been something made bespoke for the circuit/video
The only certainty of the video is that the game is AC and I appreciate the new layout of Yas Marina.

Best version of Estoril (even better than the 90s version by ACU).
Did anyone ever make any AI sidelines for this track? I notice that the AI cars cut the corners and overtake on the grass.
Nope, if @KevinK2 have time would be amazing and i will implement in a final version (even btw in testing i never had issue with overtaking on the grass)

Wondering which version of Le Mans everyone considers to be the best. I tried two of them, one from RD and a Reboot FM7 version and both are nice but seem a bit bright and washed out like they need an updated config file or something. Thought maybe there was another newer version somewhere. Thanks...

I have both looking very nice on my system. Maybe try some changes in SOL ?

I have the same problem in VR. You can add the following section to the "ext_config.ini" of the track to remove the reflection of the glass. It changes the shader of the glass from "ksPerPixelReflection" to "ksPerPixelAT"

I've tested a little bit more. It wasn't the wrong shader who caused the problems. The glass was not set as transparent.

but whats more important is that range of South American tracks is constantly increasing - on AVPS site there is a free version of Comodoro Rivadavia and much better albeit paid version of Riviera (worth the pay in my view)
Mauro recently also added Trelew and Neuquen. Slightly raw but with great road/kerbs quality

I am from Le Mans, have been at the race dozens of times and at least in terms of realism FM7 is the only good version in my mind (not sure if it is laser scanned if someone can confirm?)

Hi. Please see attached. Do I need to change something in CSP. All other tracks are fine except my local track Oulton Park where a distant field is white after I updated track.

Hi, I confirm no problem for me. Sol 2.2+CSP 1.75+ClimaxF1 PPFilter.
Tried different weather conditions and filters.

Can anyone help. im trying to balance Zinski's Jota Diablo JGTC so its a bit faster to fit Legions GT1's. Testing it at Le Mans it seems to fly off track at Mulsanne. Tried increasing brake Torque but no luck. Even at a figure of 6000nm. Tried adding/decreasing weight still no luck. Any idea what im doing wrong?

It's possible the ai.ini may not be telling the bot-drivers to brake early enough to make it. Compare the ai.ini to the settings in a car that works well - hopefully there'll be an obvious difference.

Otherwise.. no idea !

cheers ive tried using figures from working ai's but no luck. even tried increasing bake force to 10k but still nothing.

Which Le Mans are you using ? It wouldn't be the old "Le Grande Circuit" would it ? If that's the case, switch to FM7 or LeMans 2017 - a lot of AI fly off the track at Mulsanne on "Le Grande Circuit" and I've never figured out how to stop them doing it... (Mk 2 and 4 GT40's come to mind!)...
