Do any of you have ''2014 BMW M4 Crash Spec. Varis Widebody''?

The GoogleDrive link for it is down. I found it now. I think.

Since when do we have this feature in CSP? I never noticed we have a live weather integration! 😍

Is someone able to describe how this live weather API works?

It might résult in some interesting outcomes if the author of this video gets seriously thorough into photogrammetry...

Btw has he released Dessauer Rennstrecke somewhere secret or something by any chance?..

It may be the future, but there are still generations ahead (of electronic components) to make it viable, if a 2km track-length map weighs 2gb and has terrible performance.

I have applied an extension to that map and with grassfx and rainfx I even have screen freezes.

Anyway, although photogrammetry is an advance for this, the need for polygonal modeling is still there, the advance would really be for photogrammetry to do that part or almost all of it, because as it is now that photogrammetric technique, to leave that capturing 'pretty' you need to spend an enormous amount of hours with the modeling tool.

About the performance, I heard from several people that performance is very poor, but for some reason not at all on my system. It looks awful, but I checked fps again (one car on track, clear weather: AVG 168.8 and MIN 117 fps)... which is a lot better than most tracks I have installed.
It's not that my system is so advanced (triple screens doesn't help either), but in my case it's a very 'light' track (only performance wise, there's still the over 2GB for a short ugly looking track, which is why it went in the bin twice now).

Why don't you just put them next to the Kunos 312T? Whichever one is much bigger will be the incorrect one.

I can already tell you the one on the right looks 90% likely to be the correct one to me, since it looks like just a modified Kunos model.

I tried to convert a few photogrammetric models to tracks... most are really horrible in terms of perf and looks.
This however came out very good..

Correct method I'd say. Just remember, the 312T2 is mostly the same car as the 312T (biggest difference is the airbox removal)

MSF 312t2 measures 2.5m wheelbase
Kunos 312t measures 2.37m wheelbase (but has a proper 1.5m front track center to center)

Wheelbase listed as 2.518m by Ultimate Car Page

*measured with 3dsimed (not exact figures) but might explain why I always thought the Kunos car felt very odd to drive

There is a skateboard game called Skater XL. Coincidently, someone released a photogrammetric South Bank Skatepark mod for that game.

Oh and fun fact - I used to skate there quite often irl too.

I was looking at the avezzano's dashboard ad I think the rev bar is missing.. at limiter the rev bar stays grey 😨 No images found of the original car, but can you confirm this? :boggled:

Ps: Sin R1 has the same problem
oups , I guess i am getting tired at the end of this year ^^ , I ve spotted another pb too for a next fix ^^ nothing critical too !)

The map performs well according to the conditions, yes, it is true, BUT to me on my pc, in dry conditions when "I look out" the fps go up a lot, when I look "in" I have drops of up to 40 fps.

At the starting point the map performs well, when you approach the first roundabout the game does not explode by a miracle haha.

Yesterday I tried an extension, and I put grass, rain and lights on it, this does not solve how bad everything looks, that is, not even with all the goodies of the csp does it look good.

The only way that currently looks good is to add more detail to the object.

And I think, are you saving time or gaining detail with photogrammetry? Not actually.

That 2'2km mini-track would have been much better with the 'old' method of google or lidar coordinates for the track and elevations, photos of all the buildings, transfer them to textures, and make objects with the reliefs etc ...

You may save time in capturing images, but if the immediate next process is the same as always, making textures with those images, objects, materials, polygonal, etc., actually photogrammetry is not the future.

Does anyone have the BMW M2 by Guerilla Mods. I saw it on their Facebook group but it's only available on their website. Does anyone have a download link to the latest version?

Also is there any other Nascar mods available other than what we have. I have everything from Assetto Corsa Nascar's Facebook group. I was trying to find 1990 through to 2006 car sets.

Thanks.
