Sears Point/Sonoma but I think we have a rather modern version of the track, too many buildings now to be convincing with just a skin. It would be nice to have a re done version with your skin on it.
It is possible to hide buildings using CSP in a skin, I've done it for removing some of the banners in Laguna Seca that aren't present on track days to get a more basic feel (like the gantry over the entrance to the corkscrew). If someone is working on a vintage skin for sears point that would be cool to add in, I'd happily help or you can write the extension like any other extension but then save it as "ext_config.dds" instead of "ext_config.ini" inside of the skin folder and voila, it'll load that extension on top of the existing whenever the skin is loaded.

Is there a fix possible for Gilles75's "Carrieres de Beez"? Whenever I put in a grid of more than 13 total cars, they spawn into each other and lag up the game like crazy.

Well, everything can be changed. :)

The "scary man" are the files pitcrew_Left.kn5 and pitcrew.kn5 in Objects3D. I had them replaced for some months with some ladys I've found somewhere.

Was more fun driving to the pits but they arent animated so I switched back to the vanilla crew. :)
Can it be only one? Or can it be multiple? I only ask because i've been making a couple skins based off a dating sim/visual novel game i've been playing and it would be kinda funny to have one of the characters be on the pit crew per say

OH YES ! I WANT IT SO MUCH ! It will remember me the podium girl on F1 grid
I'm at work right now. Will upload them when I'm at home again. :)

I've always used only one. But with placing changed DDS-files into the skin folder of a car it should be possible to created different looking gals.
pitgirlsfiles.PNG

I'll add those textures to the files this afternoon, feel free to play around with them.
But again, this isnt my mod but I have absolutely no clue where I've found it!

Hi Peter. I'm really loving your Elise 190 conversion, but I was wondering how I can make the headlights turn off during the day? They are on all the time no matter what I try.
Cheers

EDIT: My mistake. The car is fine. (In fact, it's great!) The problem was a glitch in CSP or PURE which I have now resolved.

Agreed, lollipop man is creepy AF :scared: You can remove him altogether while still keeping World Details on maximum with this:
Thanks for pointing that out chazz ranger. I'm more than happy to get rid of the creepy Lollipop Man altogether until someone comes up with a better option! 👹

This in nothing but an empty kn5 and it wasnt even thought to the end.
This file will clear the pit dude only at tracks where the pit is on the right side. Tracks with pit at the left side like for example Laguna Seca or Lausitzring wont be affected. So you need to copy this empty kn5 to pitcrew_Left.kn5 in Objects3D too if you want to get rid of all scarecrows. :)

It's fantastic the way skidmarks can be permanently written to the track surface in the latest CSP preview. If you have any tracks with unrealistically unblemished virgin tarmac, just set up a big-grid AI race with high aggression using a wide variety of cars (old F1 cars, drift cars and production cars work well). Make sure ABS is disabled and go and grab a bite to eat. When you get back your track should have a plethora of accurately-positioned skidmarks on appropriate corners that'll still be there next time you boot AC up. If you're really lucky there would have been a few spectacular crashes as well.

 Really ???

Didn't tried yet... That sounds amazing !

Hi guys, i was wondering if it could make sense to create a list of cars (i don't know if there already is one) that we wish to have in ac, since most of us know cars, and racing classes that others don't, so modders who have an inspirational block, could reach it and create something new and interesting, instead of creating the umpteenth version of an already exixting car

I was recently asked to say a word at a friend's funeral. So I said the word "plethora". "Thank you," said his partner. "That means a lot".

There is an option to save points on control section in CM. I saw the Twisty in Renault's showroom in France. Loved it.
cheers ill have a look again.

yeah a fav of mine too. hasnt been done yet in AC...I think Sim Dream did the standard one a while back but not sure it got much love before it got pulled. wish I grabbed it.

**** yeah we're finally getting the Renault Twizy, ever since Simdream used to troll all of us about it when it was written in their site to be part of one of their car packs years ago! But now it's actually here and not as a troll anymore thankfully.

Citta di Aria
Rome
Thunder Forest
Are these circuits avalable?
  • Apricot Hill raceway + Midfield
  • Autodrome Lago Maggiore
  • Autumn Ring
  • Deep Forest Raceway
  • Grand Valley Speedway
  • Highspeed Ring
  • Kyoto Driving Park
  • Motorsports Land
  • Motorland
  • Trial Mountain
  • Special Stage Route 5
  • Seattle
  • Tokyo R256
  • Special Route AX
Do you know about the origin of these circuits, are any of them besides Tokyo 246 converted directly from Granturismo?
