They stole the engine sound from RSS
Before you say ‘stole’, maybe wait until you have full context.

I am the project manager of the Diablo GT1. The RSS sounds were simply uploaded by accident. We had intended to use the official Kunos F1 GTR sounds the entire development. However simply forgot to replace them after so long. We fixed the issue immediately, spoke to RSS who are apologetic for the confusion and RD took it down anyway and aren’t replying to our messages.

Patience. It will be back up soon with physics fixes and bug fixes also.

Oh and since dipped/flying cars have been mentioned, I just tweaked the Porsche 356A 1600GS Carrera GT Coupe Track Day tyres.ini because it was flying over the tarmac.

You can read the correct sizes in the comments of the car's RD page.

coming back to this post as im the resident gt3 main in regards of converts it seems haveing almost like half the acc lineup done in varying quality id have to say ofc the bk cars are the most accurate gt3 cars ever beeing made for ac. coming close after are the toprace cars. the key point is the kunos cars drive awfull, nonetheless theyre way too fast in straightline speed. with that beeing said imho gt3 cars are too fast, especially the kunos ones drive as fast or faster than current evo cars do, and are setuped very unrealistic with too many compounds. youd need a whole physics rework pack for the kunos cars aswell as the gtp cars to drive properly, and given that you put restrictors and ballast accordingly to track differences. as an example of the driving how a gt3 should proper look, ill put my amg below that post illustrating a lap at sebring. since the urd cars are now faster than before the lineup from rollovers they arent as painfully close anymore but gt3s are still too fast and drive very clunky aswell, random grip loss, weird suspensions and aero etc.

so I assume that means way too much work to get all those guys working together and on same quality level ?

Hello, let's see if anyone can help me.

I'm a big fan of GT3 racing, Assetto Corsa and ACC. Due to the great freedom of being able to play with any track in the world, I'm trying to recreate races with modern GT3s (ACC mods) in the original Assetto Corsa against the AI.

These cars have no BOP applied..., some go faster than others and obviously, the races are meaningless.

I would like to know if anyone can help me with the BOP. I've tested the AI by setting it to 100% in qualifying on the Barcelona circuit, looking for everyone to run in the same second. But some cars I have to add a ballast of up to 50, which I think affects the tyres as they heat up earlier, is that right?

Can anyone tell me how to apply an effective BOP or what tests to do? Thanks in advance and excuse my English.

Did you have permission to upload the car with the RSS sounds prior to uploading it?

Who cares? LMM23 has explained the reasons and you are still trying to create "drama" - give it a rest.
Not creating drama. Asking a question. He said I didn't have the facts so I am trying to get all the facts. Not the first time this site has come to the rescue of someone using others work without permission.

hello colleagues
I was searching on github ac, and I found several configurations of cars, and tracks. So, I want to know if these settings are valid, that is, in a way, does it help to update cars and tracks? On tracks in this case, there are ext config files from a few years ago, and also .kn5 files, which I'm not quite sure where to put... finally, on a track there is a script, ext lua, that I have no idea where to put it. If anyone can let me know I would be very grateful.

I am going to release today a short track in Belgium, converted from GTR2.
Work is in progress on three other new tracks and one track update.

I will be accepting requests on Patreon for the next track to be converted.
There is a note (it is on the request page), but if you are on my patreon, you can send me a request.
Tracks will still be released to the public for free.

That looks like the rather annoying 'even film of dust' that modders like to coat the internal glass with. Very annoying in low sun. Select it in CM showroom and lower the ksDiffuse value.
Or swap in a better 'dirty windscreen' DDS like this one:

Or try this: https://www.nutrimatic.cc/assetto-corsa/reducing-or-changing-windscreen-dirt/

Edit: ignore the above if the windscreen is tinted. Hard to tell from your images. Mods with tinted glass should be binned immediately.

Edit: oh, it's YOUR car mod?

Edit: what happened to the RS Spider?

This thread is crazy!! So many people constantly posting that it makes it very hard to find mods in here. Like I said before even more so now we really need a Downloads interface.
Haha, it's not hard if you know what you're looking for - I just Ctrl-F "crystal palace" every now and then, and that's it lol. 😄

(Easier for a "track guy" than for a "car guy" for sure - there are more car mods than track mods, and even then, I'm only interested in specific tracks.)

cheers man, lemme give that a try. yeah its part of a series I've been working on in "secret" but its nearly done and once this is fixed I can finish up the cockpit.

RS Spider just needs a few more bits and bobs, decided to get the lcd working and retexture the wheel.

this where its currently at

Interesting to know you're converting the Maserati Boomerang during it's 50th anniversary this year, looking forward for it.
IMO its a good contender for best cockpit ever made, the steering wheel and dials in the middle are genius. This should be especially good for the VR users. Working on a whole bunch of late 60's/70's supercars/concepts

thats probably not even the problem, youd finish that in 2022, that beeing said not on a very accurate level, like bk cars are but kinda driveable and arround thumb right so you dont cringe out loosing grip mid corner. acc converts are also very hq if you do them right and spend your time searching up ref, and doing them properly without compressing textures to hell.

Hi guys! I haven't written for a long time but we finally released our first mod, I hope everyone can enjoy it

O my, this is absolutely one of the best mods I have ever seen (and i have almost 7000 car mods installed and rated )
This one is ticking most if not all boxes for me!
Love that it comes with gear option for Track as well and the wheel options and mudflaps addons as well are amazing! :)
The eye for detail is sublime and to name a few other cool features: gas and brake animation, gear shift anim and shifter in correct position, ...
It also has no unrealistic reflections on interior materials (something u see in alot of mods)...
All these little things you rarely find combined on other mods and they add to the immersion (esp in VR).
Thank you so much!
