Only thing is, it is a shame that it is not really suitable for racing vintage cars, or just low downforce cars, as they pretty much all end up in the wall at turn 1 after a full lap. And the AI from @KevinK2 doesn't change anything for that turn. I suppose it works well for modern open wheelers as it was made for, but it is a no go for 70ies GT or 80ies GTX cars. Do you know if anyone did an AI line adapted for vintage racing ? I don't see any other than the Kevin' one.
 
That bridge was sold back in 2012 (for just £250).
So you'd be looking for a 1990s - 2000s era mod. The layout is basically the same though.
Exactly, the layout is the same, only the kerbs and the environment in general change

Few compromises had to be made on few of these cars but the lot works fine on big grids.
Just add the Toyota FT-1 Vision, the Circuit Hawaii pack, the Alfa Romeos 8C and 4C, grow your grids and have fun.

Back-up previous versions then overwrite.

Note: Please forgive me if I don't remember if these cars were released with packed or unpacked data files. Anyway this package includes just LODs and changes to the lods.ini files, so it's pretty much fire & forget.

Note again: Eventually, I will remake those damn 4th LODs for the Circuit Hawaii pack. Just taking some time to rest and race a bit.

Since we are on the topic, what car mod would you suggest for a similar/ fictional gt3 class ( excluding the actual existing racing cars)?
 
Hi guys! I'm experiencing an issue recently. After a few laps (two) every time I release the throttle the car still continues to accelerate. Looks like an input lag feeling but only when I cut off gas. Does someone had this issue before? Cheers!

if you have the G27 yes. You need to clean from the dust the pedals by disassembling them to solve the issue. Pretty simple but also complex because of the many small (thin and delicate) cables, then, if not enough just cleaning, you need to clean them deeper

Could be your pedal is getting stuck? Rather than an issue with the game.
 
Don´t worry too much about, maybe I also screwed up my latest installation a little bit. If everything is fine, let it as it is buddy. I appreciate your work in any case.
I have to fix a couple of typos in my files anyways for another update so I don't mind having a look. Maybe i'll go completely back to stock and see if the bridge appears. Honestly, I don't recall ever seeing a bridge there, even before I started using CSP. Imola is one of those tracks I drive a lot so I think I would remember a bridge.

Just wondering, are you talking about the bridge you drive over in that area or is it a bridge you drive under? I know there is a bridge you drive over in that area, but I never knew it was removed at some point. Was it replaced with just ground?

Make sure to apply whatever WD40 you have after you cleaned the dust - for me, that was the ONLY thing that worked permanently, otherwise the issue kept coming back after a few weeks each time I cleaned the dust itself.

And the issue went away COMPLETELY after applying WD40, like 0 times since. (More than a year now, knock on wood.)

Unfortunately it should be some settings issue because I'm using keyboard right now. It happens when I release the throttle. It only completely cuts off after 1sec. And this issue happens after a couple of laps.

It was removed completely in 2020 I think.

Hope Pyyer doesn't get upset, but here is my take on his two F1 mods and the stock track for Imola. Let's be clear, I take no credit for these. These are all Pyyer's work. I just made some changes to make a few things more to my liking.

-- Darkened up the tree textures. There is actually 3 variations on tree brightness. Default is set to medium. You can edit the ext_config and activate the lighter or darker version (ACTIVE = 1). Make sure to deactivate the mid option (ACTIVE = 0).
-- Edited the seasonal adjustments so that fall doesn't come as early and winter is not as long.
-- Edited the lights so that the track state lights show on the indicators (pit lights, lights above S/F line, etc.) Pyyer's had the glow of the lights but for some reason the actual light was not coming on. Could just be my system. Maybe I use a buggy CSP version.
-- Removed the 3D trees because I hate them. Can be turned back on by deactivating (ACTIVE = 0) the option in the ext_config.
-- Small grassfx change to make the grass grow over time. Stupid change I know, but I still included it.
-- Groove skin to get rid of purple tinted groove line and make it dark grey\black.
-- All of his original configs are included in a separate folder to easily revert back to defaults if you prefer. No need to download the mod again.

-- Corrected typo in one file that caused the building just in front of pit exit to flicker on the F1 2022 mod.
-- Darkened the sand texture slightly, brightened the grass texture slightly. Better lighting balance between the two of them.

The question is not quite clear to me...
excluding the Cadillac which is not fictional (my mistake), the eight cars plus the others I mentioned in my post are more than enough for fictional gt3 races.

I know those are plenty, but I wanted to know if there where some other mods that could race among gt3 cars, for example, i didn't know that the scirocco was alle to keep up with the other gt3, i hope it is clearer now
 
Oh ok, I've never tried any of them against proper gt3 cars like the Darches, Lanzo Bayro etc...
The Scirocco can keep up with the beastly fictional Camaro, it's juicy enough. The slower ones are the Alfa 4c and the Hyundai.
Today I've had a quick race and one AI driver with the Circuit Hawaii Subaru was hyperfast.
I suppose the general GT3 rule, BOP until there's no tomorrow, applies with the fictionals too.

Maybe one day I'll try with the proper GT3 cars, there's a Wipeout skin for the Kunos C7R and I think it's up for the job :D

There is certainly another update for the IA on the forum, I had seen here but I did not find the link of the page

Is there a changelog? New billboards, obviously - but any layout/geometry changes etc?
Not too familiar with the track so don't know what to look out for.

Edit: there's a weird audio event about half way round the lap where it sounds like a big V8 is being revved momentarily... or you're under attack from a giant rabid pig.

he seems to have taken out all the flying objects but left in the extension for them. could be some sounds that are still left after the object itself was removed.
