Paul Ricard 2015 v0.9.7 update textures 2022 (it's just a skin folder in cm_skin)

@ClaudioWRC74 do you recon this is a realistic track surface? To me is looks cartoonish and nothing like the pictures posted on the official website from a truck race just a few days ago. I have multiple different versions of the track and iirc there was already one with a similar look, i.e. with a too dark track surface.

AFAICS this isn't supposed to be based in reality and is a "what if the track was resurfaced and new" kind of scenario

Unfortunately it should be some settings issue because I'm using keyboard right now. It happens when I release the throttle. It only completely cuts off after 1sec. And this issue happens after a couple of laps.
hmmm so just to be absolute clear, you had the issue using pedals , and just now switched to using keyboard (as a test), right?

Then this would definitely point more towards a software issue...

( if you were using keyboard all along, then maybe the same fix suggested needs to be applied to your keyboard, as a key might also get stuck and need some cleaning/wd40 as well... Do you have the issue in notepad ? )

yes me too I prefer retexture mod on RD :

MIAMI HARD ROCK GP TRACKSKIN 2022
Guesswork fictional skin based on current sponsors for the Miami circuit pay mod for those who have it.
The track itself lacks a lot of detail at the moment but hopefully the mod evolves quickly with updates because it's a fluid fast drive.
I'll add the skin to my 2021 pack as a bonus skin.
Here is a link for just the track skin (the track itself is not mine to share so don't ask)

The track is on sale... you'll find it with a Google search
The link is dead. Would you be able to reupload?
Skin looks amazing though

I just tried the URD Cup Porsche, and found it to be really mushy and not so precise. Had a look at the tire app, and..does that say, you're starting on completely worn out tires? The screenshot is from right at session start, not a single meter driven (yes, they are cold as well, but even when warm they feel like they're just there to hold the car up).

Yesterday i finally bought a gaming PC.Holy crap what a difference between AC on PC and on Playstation. Physics, handling even sound is SO much better than on PS, its like totally different game and i still didn't installed any mods.

Last few weeks i was actually somewhat comparing GT7 and AC on my PS5. But now there's no comparison between those two.The cars in AC feels so amazing, track textures, bumps, tyre grip.. Holy crap.. Best decision i ever made. Now just need to buy Oculus Quest 2😁

I also tried Iracing, but im not impressed at all.

Indeed. And when you click on the button to go on track the first time you are wearing your Quest, your mind will be blown. Assetto Corsa has probably the best implementation of VR of any racing Sim. It just works, and with a modern gaming system you should get a good frame rate. Do get Content Manager, ideally the full version which costs a couple of euros, which enables not only to "manage your content" but also to use easily the famous Custom Shader Patch. This adds a huge number of graphics and physics improvements in itself. Many recent car and track mods require it.

And at some point you will want to use the freely contributed masterpieces of Peter Boese, in the form of Sol or Pure, which add amazing weather management and a lovely look to the game. Sol is free at Race Department, Pure is still in development but is nearing the stage where Peter will release it publicly as a free mod. If you want to use it now you can pay a ludicrously low amount to join his Patreon (you can choose to pay from one euro upwards I believe). If you do the same with Ilja's Custom Shader Patch (Patreon version) you get amazing rain and wet weather physics.

You have embarked on a journey my friend, and it's a long and enjoyable one.

I would have loved to receive such a welcome when I started. Good saying

If you got VR than I highly recommend CSP Rain by Ilja, Sol and a car/track of your choice for the ultimate AC immersion.

Hey all! I'm interested in adding some grid spots to an AC track, namely the DDM Tokyo R246 track. I'd like to increase from 24 to 28. Tried just changing the UI folder and they work fine in pit lane, but unfortunately not so much starting grid (worth a shot anyway)

Is the only way to do this from something like 3D Studio Max as per this video?

I've never used it before and I don't mind doing it if that is the only way, but wanted to see if there was a simpler way

Welcome to the party. No comparison to GT7. IT's always fun to see those who were stuck on consoles make the leap.

Hello guys,

I need your help !!!! @Cozy61
I have a problem for 2 days with my custom championships. I finish the first race or I finish the second race. I leave the CM and all the championships are at zero when I come back in the CM (initialization at the 1st race) !!! !!! is there a manipulation to do in the CM ? logs files, data files .... to delete. I had never had this problem since the beginning that I realize customs championships
Thanks a lot my friends

Thanks.

Actually i tried PSVR about 3 years ago on GT Sport and it was amazing experience,at one point i just stopped in the middle of track and ended up just laughing with myself like a mad man and note that i'm almost 40 years old🤣And VR was very limiting in GT Sport and resolution pixel on Quest 2 will be about 3x bigger so i think its gonna be great.
