Thank you for the answer about Pit Limiter (old question). All works good. Thanks.

I would like to ask you if it's available (somewhere...) an old Singapore layout, with the terrible chicane!

Thanks.

I think it's possible to have it by using the 2022 singapore we have and using the old codemaster assets.
As they are too lazy to change the 3d

Hey I'm looking for a Bathurst and Holden commodore mod im pretty new to this site so yeah
Welcome to the GTplanet thread...

Assetto corsa today
I am more and more amazed how many new mods and by that I also mean redesigns of existing mods are coming into circulation. When I see for example how Spa 2022 looks like, it's a big difference (especially the trees) to the old one or the M1 Procar by Pfalzdriver and colleagues, super how the glass of the tour counter is made or the new Alpine A310 Turbo with a sensational interior. In addition, there are many new mod developers and many things look much better than originally developed by Kuno. In the past (till 2017) many Carmods had a more "primitive" 2 D look in the cockpit. Today it looks really good in 3D. I don't know what the reason for that is, whether new better SW has been created to implement it that way?
Today I drive 85% AC, 10% AMS2 and the rest ACC or R3R. No matter what else I test, I always come back to AC. For me, the end of AC is once again a distant prospect. It looks really great today and can keep up with any new sim (for example has ACC this flickering trees and it seems for me a more bad quality compared to AC).
Plus the many new mods, as if AC had only just come onto the market.
If Kunos wants to launch AC2, I wonder which SW they will try it with, because without the involvement of the modders, it won't work.

I thank all modders here from the bottom of my heart for their incredible work, with Patreon you can also support some a little.

I am curious to see which existing mods will be given a new look in future. One of my favourites would be the BMW 3.0 CSL, which is there, but the dashboard is inferior quality.

Thank you all. Oliver

I just added 5 Venturi 400 GTR skins to the 1994 Paul Ricard 4H race grid. You can download the pack at RD

It was quite difficult to find information on the Venturi 400 GTRs. There are not many photos available showing the Trophy cars in the BPR races. Thats why I could recreate only 5 of 13 cars which were in the race. If I find more photos I will add skins to the pack.
The car model is not the best quality, but the car is fun to drive. The Venturi is part of the foundation of BPR, that's why it should be represented without a doubt.

I hope you have fun with the cars.
Daniel

seems to be a design from a Le Mans race. I am concentrating on BPR 1994-1996 at the moment. But beside I collect a lot of pictures of the same cars racing in Le Mans. So I might do them later. But please keep in mind, the cars which raced in Le Mans were different in terms of the tires used. The BPR GT5 entries were on road legal tires, the Le Mans Venturi 500 LM were of course raced on proper racing tires and had slightly different wings. For the Le Mans entries I will have to modify the car data. Not a big deal, but good to know.

I normally love doublezero's tracks but I thought there was something wrong with my installation until I read "photogrammetry mesh is very low quality and unoptimized. It is an experiment."
It does look quite odd at the moment. Hopefully he'll keep refining it.

Anyone interested in making updates and improvements for these 2 new tracks ? These tracks were made by a French modder who no longer has time to work on it.
Please contact me privately
I have all the files to continue developing the tracks (RTB) sorry but I'm not modder ...

thanks for your help
Fay de Bretagne already found a daddy :)
I saw a trackday video on Youtube the other day and found the posts above. Is there any update on this J3DModding track and will there be a public download at some point?

Hey boys

Looking for a wiper animation for Velo´s Ferrari 512s - open cockpit version (because the closed one has it, in a update made by ACTK).

Does anyone has it?
You can just copy over the car_wiper.ksanim file from the ACTK version to the open roof version.

Yep, I tried that (because apparently the cars have the same 3d - Velo´s, Bazza´s and ACTK versions). But I don't know why, it didn't work.

Gonna try it again.

AC has awesome tracks from other games including some good conversions from Forza and Gran Turismo, NFS Shift and others. But the community seems to have forgotten about a really beautiful PS exclusive game - Drive Club. I think that game has the most beautiful real world inspired locations and as far as I know none have been converted for AC. Is there any I don't know of? I really hope the community would really chase this avenue with all seriousness. I'm just posting a few videos so it is less easy to miss this post:

Those are just two. All the tracks in this game are so beautiful.

I'd also like to remind of a challenge I made to the community. The Isdera Commendatore 112i.

There are so many new technologies available today and I think the best way to revive this car would be through using AI. Does there exist technology that could be used to reconstruct this car from images and videos? Just wondering and trowing an idea out there. Maybe it can be used and someone will run with it. Fingers crossed.

Oh and I still want the DB9.

Big 👍 for Driveclub tracks. I think due to size and quality it's gonna take a while before we see any attempts at conversion however.

There is an Isdera floating around but it's really poor quality.

First of all, about those Driveclub tracks, as much as we badly want them all in AC, currently I think that it's not possible due to the models being encrypted in someway and none have ever tried to decrypt them all in the PS4 jailbreak hacking scene AFAIK.

While as for that AI discussion about recreating cars in 3D automatically, there's only a proof of concept made by nVIDIA called GANverse 3D, which while still primitive, it still does look impressive and promising for the future IMO.

DriveClub also had some fantastic fictional circuits such as Asagiri Highlands. I wonder if these models are available anywhere. It's a shame they've never been ported.

Imo CSP is #1 on my suspect list. I have a lightly different issue though. The (all) mirrors in some (most) cars show that 'shaded' rear mirror view (interior and exterior - I'm on triple screen setup) for a couple of seconds when I start driving, only to ruturn to 'normal' after that. After that they never show that 'shaded' view again during race/hotlap/practice.
Regarding the mirror issue discussed earlier, in case anyone's interested, I've narrowed down the fault to the common/custom_emissive.ini file. Commenting out [INCLUDE: common/custom_emissive.ini] in the car's extension file solved the problem for me. Given that this file is labeled "Very WIP at the moment," the problem will surely be solved in a future CSP release.

Hey

Good car, interesting mod, but driving it is for few...
I don't know if it's tires, or alignment, but I can't get around it in the corners, it's a drift...

unfortunately no news for these tracks

I was informed that this issue has already been taken care of.

I tested it on the Paul Ricard Circuit and was quite okay with its handling. It is on Road Tires which leads to much slower cornering speeds. I did not change any of its physics yet, as it is Zin5kis mod.
