I finished to update all the old tracks I have in my archive. So don't worry this is the last update massacre.

Please try Suzuka 1992 it's not at RD.

To make it short todays updates:

I really appreciate your work Rainmaker, and have from afar for many years. I notice we have Snetterton 2011 and 1964, two iconic layouts. Would there be any scope/chance of you remaking the 2005 layout eventually? I believe it was available for rFactor 1 but never got ported over to RF2.

I was dreaming of a authors video by a known You Tuber. Yeah! Thanks for the link.

We discussed that earlier at RD. But we did not had a old version found. If you have a link I may have a look.

This one? Should be technical possible.

Yes, that's the one. the 300 layout is fine, but there's nothing quite like going round the Scary Tree corner onto the straight at nearly top speed!

Donations are quit good at RD I must say. Edward a beer in Germany is around 3 Euro in a restaurant. Maybe will have a look for that Cm auto update thing. But the updates are now nearly finished and there will be new tracks coming.

Did someone say updates?

Changelog in Read Me or at RD.
Stellar work is being done here!
Regarding Mexico 1967: I notice it has a much better model of that armadillo-type building on the outside of the Peraltada, than the 1988 version.

Is there anyway you could transplant the ‘67 version if that building to the ‘88 track?

I always make new preview of all cars, to keep things tidy and uniform. But one thing has been bugging me, and that is cars with different sets of rims. They all show the default rims in the preview, because the extension files which swap the rims are not taken into account.

What is the easiest way to make previews for models with different sets of rims?

Detroit Street Circuit from ACU updated DaBaeda

Looks better now.
Logo and sections file for who wants them:

And @Masscot has made a couple of track skins to get rid of the AC branding, may be he'd like to chime in ?
I copied them from the ACU version and they obviously work fine for this one too.

I might have uploaded them to RD a long time ago?
If not, will upload tomorrow here.
I seem to remember this track having quite bad performance in its original form.

you guys are doing so great graphic, but due to its physics from vr driving that had so many issues on other cars i barely hope to get something interesing...for DBS i believe suspension is too stiff and way too much downforce. btw why no semislick tyres?
We're finally able to show you a small part of our work which is running secretly in background! Our first official release is out for public use! This time something different to what you are used to from our side but we hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it!

The car is pretty pleasent to drive. Tyres are more grippy then kunos semislicks. Really enjoyable. But comparing to Kunos Turbo S that have active rear wing that actually effect downforce rear, why did not you make it as well? Techart also have active rearwing but after it deploys, it effect nothing, just visuall effect

For anyone interested, I found that there has been a skinpack released for Legion's Tatuus FT-50 that represents the 2019 Toyota Racing Series from New Zealand.
Link to the car as well as the skin pack are here.

I have put together a race grid preset so the real drivers are used instead of kunos substitutes.

Which versions of Detroit circuits are there?
Check out @Breathe track list, link is always in his postings.

which is the best Detroit circuit? Better to test that by yourself, because lots of track aspects are personal taste. In my case I do not like 2D, low poly models and shimmer, (and modern tracks). :)

I am more trying to figure out what are the versions posted. Rainmaker's was the 80s GP circuit downtown. There is the Belle Isle track, and the one recently in this thread I am not sure what layout is that. Even though it looks like downtown. So far I don't think anyone made the new Indycar circuit yet...

100% agree regarding @Rainmaker87 's work. My huge thanks added to the deserved mountain.

Fun fact. The "armadillo-type" building is the grandly named, "Palacio de los Deportes" (Palace of Sports), a sports arena that was built for the 1968 Summer Olympics. It was finished just in time for the games, in Sept '68. So in Oct '67 it probably looked more like this (from the Tibor Beke, Soma Plecsko "4thgpmexico67" version).

PS. Yes, of course, it is on @Breathe 's list :)

Defo doesn't look like the best, and $, but it is the 2023 layout:
