Pfalzdriver ...... you`ve really "fixed" the cigarettes RESPECT :D:lol:

Which is why I thought its weird that the only some cars does that, and only some of the times, RSS cars being more often and repeatable than others....I like using F5 cams because you can actually try to compose your shots not being limited by where the camera are placed on track... Also happens with certain Kunos cars, or at least you'll have to choose a much longer shutter speed than what you'd otherwise use.

In those cases I take two pictures, one with the shutter speed I want, and the other with long enough shutter speed to get wheels turning. Then I put the one with turning wheels as bottom layer in Gimp, and the one with correct shutter speed on top layer, and I "cut holes" where the wheels are.
This gives me a nice composite image with my chosen shutter speed AND turning wheels.
But in some cases you don't get turning wheels with any shutter speed...

This was my first test image for that process:

I didn't notice that because I usually use a different pp filter, but you're right, the headlights (at least on high beams, on low beams they compare pretty well to the other cars) are pretty bright, much brighter than on my usual filter
@Shyzsterz

In the ext_config.ini there should be [HEADLIGHT_1] (somewhere under "Lighting_Original" or "Lighting_Old", not completely sure about that at the moment) with just a COLOR code and four values. The last of this value is the lighting multiplier and should be at 50 and way too bright. The first three numbers are for the colour code itself (in RGB).

I set my to 12 and it works well with the Natural Mod PPF. If the range of the headlights is a short you can boost it up with an additional line below COLOR:
RANGE = 100 (to 150, you gotta test that out).

Hi JohnDoeGer

Cool. Thank you so much for this information I'll hop on & give it a go. Thought I was going mad but with the lights on main beam it's just ridiculously bright. Glad it's not just me.

Thanks again Shysterz :)

Thank you for sharing the track! I have an issue with it being that the ground is missing in some places. I have re-installed it twice, first via CM, then deleted it and re-installed manually. The issue is still occurring. I can't tell, whether it's just on this track but it doesn't happen on many others. I'm running CSP 0.180-preview218. Is there any fix for this?

Anyone who uses VR get no sunlight coming through the windshield? CSP issue? Using CSP 1.79. This has been happening a lot lately. See picture.
It's not just a VR thing, it's a fundamental (and pretty basic) modding mistake.
Add this to the config.
Code:
;fix shadow-casting sun in cockpit
[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
ACTIVE = 1
MATERIALS = int_glass ; internal glass material name
CAST_SHADOWS = 0
Sadly, a lot of new mods are riddled with basic errors like this. Not just visual errors either, but basic physics issues too.
They either aren't tested properly in the rush to get a release out (for imaginary kudos from internet strangers, or patreon dollars), or the modders drive in chase cam using a joypad and never enter the cockpit out on the track.
Or for some unfathomable reason, just made as photo mules with driving a secondary consideration.
And it's a thousand times worse of course when stupidity, ignorance or lack of attention to detail is locked behind encryption.

On my side it´s all fine too.

Maybe some optimizations in CSP settings are messing that up for you?
You could try to disable the one or other, if you have them enabled. Or vice versa... ;)

This is what I use:

Noticed a car mod released on RD during the week, someone in the comments said something about the physics, the mod guy came back saying he cant test as he doesnt know anyone with a wheel, and he drives with a mouse, and it was all fine as far as he was concerned.. didn't even bother to download it.. so I thank him for saving space in my recycle bin ;):lol:

Enjoy .
I told you If you want any help tell me and you, said okay and then silents nothing :lol:
I made the Lods for the Toyota and SCG007,
Now for the rest of the cars, I need you to
change the name material/mesh name that the "skin" sits to the (car_paint) so the CM can create the Lods and then send me the cars .kn5 so I can create the LODs
the Problem is that the CM can find a (car_paint mesh) to create the LODs like the ACs

Just a first trial getting the wiper to work.
It´s only my second car I tried this, so for sure not perfect, but a first starting point. Put this in the end of your config:
Code:
[MESH_ADJUSTMENT_...]
ACTIVE = 1
MESHES = Object-26, Object-27
IS_TRANSPARENT = 1

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; wipers

; wobbly wipers
[WIPERS]
WIND_THRESHOLDS_KMH = 120, 250 ; speed for wipers to start vibrating and for maximum vibration
WIND_AMPLITUDE_MULT = 1.75 ; multiplier for amplitude
WIND_FREQUENCY_MULT = 1.75 ; multiplier for frequency
WIND_OFFSET = 0.01 ; base animation

[ANIMATED_WIPER_...]
ANIMATION_OFFSET = 0.25
DEBUG = 0
MESHES = EXT_Wiper
UNDERLYING_SURFACE = Object-26
GROUP_0 = 'EXT_Wiper@A=*'
GROUP_0_ANGLE_FROM = -52
GROUP_0_ANGLE_TO = 52
GROUP_0_AXIS = 0, 0.70710677, 0.70710677
GROUP_0_AXIS_OFFSET_0 = 0, 0.70710677, 0.70710677
GROUP_0_AXIS_OFFSET_1 = 0, 0.70710677, 0.70710677
GROUP_0_END = 0.002215337, 0.8379682, 0.9851018
GROUP_0_PIVOT = -0.01867288, 0.5777404, 1.364407

[MESH_ADJUSTMENT_...]
MESHES = EXT_Wiper
MOVE_TO = modelRoot:y

[BASIC]
DISABLE_WIPER_KSANIM = 1

And people with CSP and Rain FX will get this:
View attachment 1267891

You can see it here, @Shokeus shows where you can put the code in:
;)

Have a look in your car folder, there should be an extension folder and in there should be the ext_config.ini. Put the code in the end of that ini and save it. That´s it. Have fun. :)
Got it, thanks slider666
