What did you change, we don't had all these issues (see original loading screens).
Sorry, but before I misunderstand you, what exactly do you mean, "what did I change"?
First, I didn´t change anything.
I just extracted the track and started it, got same stripes on the tarmac like @Fanapryde posted a screenshot of, got these weird shadowed walls and some more objects with weird messy vertex normals.
Then I began to fix that.

Did you upload the right version of the track?
I can redownload the track again, install it after renaming or backup old stuff and make some virgin screenshots again, from these messed up objects, if you like and needed.

DaBaeda did upload the track. I'm just curious in what you changed because when I don't have a issue I can't fix it because I don't see when it's fixed because there is nothing to see whats need to be fixed. As easy is that. :-)

Can't find anything related...

No VAO patch inside either.
Thing is, I noticed that ACTK has placed the same track on his site, downloaded it from there and there is no issue with the road surface.

No idea why since I compared both versions and found out they are exactly the same (Thumbs.db inclusive) :D

Downloaded the track again from @DaBaeda link above, installed and yes the stripes/moiree is still cheerfully present.
The ACTK track isn't exactly the same. He probably fixed the problem by changing the ext_config.ini

Oh, I´m to old for that ...
So, if you can´t see issues, it must be my system making them.
No prob, I fixed my issues for myself and as easy is that... ;)
Sorry, I´ll not bother anyone with my issues any more, at least not for Queensland.

I checked both the only thing what ACTK changed is the brightness of a material in the pits.
This has been changed:

Dabaeda version:
[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_4]
ACTIVE=1
DESCRIPTION= darker tarmac
MESHES =
MATERIALS = ROADMAIN,ROADSTANDS,ROADFINISH,ROADGARAGEMAIN,ROADA64
PROP_1 = ksDiffuse, 0.33
PROP_2 = ksAmbient, 0.33

ACTK version:
[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_4]
ACTIVE=1
DESCRIPTION= darker tarmac
MESHES =
MATERIALS = ROADMAIN,ROADSTANDS,ROADFINISH,ROADGARAGEMAIN,ROADA64,ROADCEMENTGARAGE
PROP_1 = ksDiffuse, 0.33
PROP_2 = ksAmbient, 0.33
CAST_SHADOWS = 0

That took care of the stripes/moiree on the track surface that I showed in the posted picture.
In the meanwhile I (and others) had also noticed the flickering on billboards, tents, armcos and other stuff. @slider666 fixed that too.
Maybe the issues weren't visible for everyone (probably CSP related) but they were present...

Its based on the real one!!...
Yep, I know, but there's more... Take a look at this update... https://www.racedepartment.com/down...exy-skin-darche-992-gt3r.62474/update/109581/
... I´ll not bother anyone with my issues any more...
Oh no please, it's not a bother; trying to help others can never be a bother...

Some of us (who have also had the same stripes/flickering problems as you) would like to be able to enjoy that track without getting stoned by the moiree effect... Don't get angry please, and if it sounds good to you... can you share the solution? (If you could see me, you would see that right now I'm rolling my eyes like Puss in Boots)

Against that moiré effect on the tarmac, please use what @Fanapryde posted just before your post. That´s the easiest fix.

Another new mod, this time track, by James Skinner, the creator of great version of Thruxton that is out for couple of years on rd.

Not a new mod. It's an update (for a great track).
-------
Not a massive update and should have got to this much sooner - mostly just fixing issues people have pointed out but a few minor cosmetic improvements as well...

Release notes 1.0
Adjusted pit box positioning to give more room in pits
Adjusted collision box on first chicane tyre stack
Renamed some ’GRASS’ surfaces incorrectly defined
Added and / or adjusted normal maps on several textures
Tweaked ai line after Esses / before Old Paddock
Adjusted ai track boundaries on no chicanes layout
Additional Trackside buildings modeled
Various cosmetic improvements / changes

Pack Le Mans 2023 V1.0a ! Add additional Lods (at last !) Thanks at Norms and Greg_ST for their help !

Enjoy !
Nice set of cars, thanks.
Two things:

- Is there some issue with the wiper on the BMW ? I get to hear wiper sound, but the thing isn't moving. Wipers work fine for the other cars.

- For the Toyota there's no difference between the daytime running lights and the high beams, they light up the track in the same way.

--------------------------
@Rodger Davies @24H : I'm guessing it's a skin for the lp_gtm_gt3 (from LP Design) ?

as much as the track looks good, it doesnt look right with the horizon. I know sponsor billboards and buildings change colours over the years, but the hills in the background dont change. Perhaps Dabaeda, Rainmaker and yourself could collaborate to fix the issues that people are experiencing, and make the track look more like being there?

Where it comes to environment, the old Jarqus version is better imo:

are you able to adjust the brightness of grassfx through an extension folder? i have managed to figure out how to add 3d grass but i am now looking to adjust its brightness. i am hoping its as easy as adding code to my config file.........

i have searched but came up with nothing. i am hoping to adjust the brightness on a track and then release the update for it as this track has no 3d grass.

thanks :)

Does anyone know how to increase the grip of a track? I feel like some of the tracks are a bit slippery like you are driving on ice, how can I do that?

First of all, make sure your car has the correct tire grip data. But if you still don't like the level of tire grip, then you need to change the level in...e:\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\your_track\data\srfaces.ini

change the value FRICTION
