Thanks Kurt, I tested both tracks and the same issue on both tracks as if the collider is hitting the ground sending the car up in the air. Must be a sneak setting somewhere, I guess. Don't experience the issue with the ACFSK version of the car though...
makes me wonder if you have set the ride height too low in the suspension setup

ive read somewhere that using the latest csp preview causes issues on Daytona

dont know if that aplies to you though
 
Curious, can someone test the FSR Ligier JS P320 LMP3 at Daytona reboot road course? No matter what setup I use, something keeps breaking on the car always at the start of the oval portion of the track. Something breaks, sparks all over, force feedback on the wheel goes crazy, crash again and the car even goes on fire from time to time depending on how severe the crash is...Something is off with this car as there doesn't seem to be a way to stop the car from breaking....??? Using the latest CSP of course...
Sounds like the issue I had with the URD 992. It was something with the new experimental physics on the latest CSP version triggering it. Something with "collision sooner" don't remember exactly (Im not home right now). Either that or it's because of the "extended physics".

Thanks for the ideas, I did test with and without extended physics with same result. Also tested with the suspension set to the highest setting with same result. Occurs as soon as the car hits any kind of banking. hmmm, might need to check out the 992 at the track as well....

I think it's the right opportunity to learn the basics of modding. Some cars just need a little tweaking, so what a good chance :dopey:

In fact, it took very little to improve this e36 (except for light refraction)

Hey Guys, A question that someone should be able to help me with. I'm working on skins for the GT3 cars in the Michelin LeMans Cup and I need to get rid of these Blancpain number plates on the honda_nsx_gt3_acc. I tried just covering them with the LeMans plates but the dimensions all wrong and it doesn't look right so I'd like to delete these if possible. I'm not worried about emissive lighting.
Is it a simple line in the extension folder?

Depends how they're applied, Kurt.
We (couple of folks here) have had some success by identifying the numberplate texture/mesh in 3DSIMED/ksEditor, and then deleting it, then exporting the kn5 back out as an alternative, to be swapped in for previews.
Does the Blancpain plate appear in game?
 
Hello everybody! Don't you think this Sharknose model is too much bigger than the real one? You can tell by the steering whell too...
Does exist a down scaled model or someone can kindly do it?

This is bazza GPL1500 model, same as the SimDream one. I'm working on new skin, sound, cockpit with working gauges and drivers but the model doesn't look as should be...

Not sure what to think...here is a print screen of my 2 monitors. Monitor 1 is the car in game, in the pits, no numberplate showing, monitor 2 the car is in the custom showroom, (usually always there while I paint skins so I can view changes in real time...duh) showing my Michelin cup overlay. The only thing did was isolate the numberplate in showroom and add that in the extension file "is visable=0"
Would that do it?

Yes, he is having the exact same issues I had when I tried it at Spa, the weird converging on the Kemmel and the disappearance after Blanchimont. I don't know whether that could be avoided by changing the AI Spline offset, didn't have the time and patience to test that yet

I tried the rolling start app. Technically it works, the point is that at the start some cars remain stationary on the grid causing crashes (and those behind flashing / honking their horn). In practice it becomes unusable, also because when someone manages to wriggle free from the accident he doesn't join the others but stays behind :irked:

Don't judge it by a single picture. The bridge is literally overlayed with the real one through Google Earth photogrammetry.



This is the track I've mentioned. I made it and he used my bridge. I mean, I don't mind but he didn't even ask me XD

Note that I wanted to say shxt but it censored me. I know it's trash but it was something quick. Now I'm WIP with one more accurate.
