interior skin for Seat Toledo "24hr" 2k/4k/6k

a quick interior skin for this car, the outside is bad the inside is a bit worse so i have had to make do with what i can here, its far from ideal or perfect but its a bit better than just a plain interior, just upscaling the og textures helped although the "generic.dds" only upsclaes to a certain point i cannnot push it beyond that. No pics from real life or anything just done of my head.

please put the car folder in the archive as well... (ex path car\skins\anewskin ) that way it's easier for ppl downloading all and installing in the evening... and/or for using drag & drop in CM.

Today I'm out of work so I decided to learn something about CSP to improve a track.
This is what I manage to do with Waterford Hills Road Racing

Grass textures are taken from fln_long beach.
You have to copy the files inside "tracks\fln_long beach\skins\cm_skins\red curbs" (with the exeption of curb_new2.dds) to the "waterford_hills\extension" folder.

I used an existing ext_config.ini which I used as a template, but I don't remember the autor :guilty::bowdown: ... I'm quite sure he was Rainmaker

oh would people prefer that if i did the file structure so you can just drag and drop into CM? i stayed away from that as i have had issues with CM installing skins that's why i "advise" people to do it manually but i can keep that in mind for the next release and do a proper file structure, the ones i had issues with probably didn't have the correct file structure which is why i had issues . Thanks for the feedback :)

Even if not using CM it would just make life easier. Im always renaming the download so I know that its for the Toledo.

Bugs me when I go on a skin downloading binge on RD and dont get around to installing them straight away and the downloads are just named after the car number and team name or sponsor. Have to go back through my history to figure out which car they belong to.

i did not even think of the "what if i download it and not install it straight away" angle. i will make sure all my future releases are named properly with the right file structure e.t.c. I understand why it can be confusing without it. Thanks for the feedback :)
 
Skipping "10 years", now the "Champions Career Mode" is in the year 1960.
The first race of this long season (sportscar races, f1, formula Indy, Nascar...), is the 1000km of Buenos Aires.
This time I chose the Brazilian duo, Celso Lara Barberis / Christian "Bino" Heins with the Maserati 300s.

After the race, I noticed that the performance of the "AI" Porsche 718 was a little lower, I'm going to try to adjust it better (because when testing both the Ferrari 250TR, Maserati, Maserati Birdcage and Porsche 718, I achieved similar times).

the behavior of rear-view mirrors, in the "real mirror" mode.
There are three cars, let's call them "A(mod)", "B(kunos)" and "C(mod)", they are all open top. in dry weather with the mirrors of all three cars everything is fine. but if you turn on the rain, then the mirrors of car "A" become black, those of car "B" become gray blurred, and everything

Sorry, no answer, but I have the 'blurry' version in the Kunos Ferrari 330 P4, which is frustrating because it's probably my no1 car for the game! So if anyone knows I'm curious too.
Have you guys found a solution, I have the same issue with the Ferrari 330 P4.

Thank you. Interesting, how apparently uncorrelated aspects can affect one thing or another as we "make progress" with the development of the "patch". Software programing borderline magic in some aspect.
Is there a particular tag that fixes most car or is it a case by case situation? what tag does the Ferrari 330 P4 needs?

For cars with an open top (having problems with the mirror) there are two solutions. The first cardinal solution is to disable "real mirrors" in the csp settings. second, if you want to use “real mirrors”, then you need to add the tag “singleseater” to the car; you can simply select it from the drop-down list of tags and save it. So far these are the only solutions.
 
Hello. I finished the Gran Turismo 4 version of Suzuka reboot version rework. And also done the layout with reworked 130R corner and late Casio Chicane from 90s.

IMPORTANT: before installation completely remove the folder of previos version if you have, otherwise it might be issues.

V1.3 -! 30.04.2023

* Gran Turismo 4 full version.

  • based on laser scan ACC Conversion by reboot
  • Reworked to match Gran Turismo 4 version as much as possible.
  • based on reboot version of Suzuka
  • All new gravel safe zones, no tarmac, pit boxes, billboards, trees, rollercoasters etc.
  • Replaced and reworked pit boxes (originally from old Suzuka 1992 version by rainmaker?) etc.... and Lot of other reworks
  • Outside of 130R also made gravel

Hi, there is a big hole in the gravel trap on the outside of 130R next to the barrier. Fell through it when I went wide.
 
Hello. The weather in the championship is stuck on rainy and does not respond to the changes i make in the CM . In a fast race, the weather changes as it should be. Reinstalled CSP and sol several times, but nothing changed. Tried to install pure 0.205, with it the weather changes in the championship, but i would like to stay with sol.
Dont know what else to try, any advice?

Disabling "real mirror" is not an option for me, I can happily enjoy AC without rain, but not without "real mirror". :)
As a VR driver it is, for me, the most important aspect CSP brought me.
Singleseater is easy enough to add.
I made a few test, just to check, how wide the issue is spread. So far for me, the 330 P4, is the only one, I have no doubt there are more.
But most other I have tried, are working fine, like the Cobra. Not sure I like to have rain on my center mirror, but I like it better than a blurred/foggy mirror.:)
@Peter Boese do you think it is CSP related or Sol related?
 
Hi All, I have mirrored a UV mapped model of half of a car's body panels in blender, but when I export it as fbx, the number of vertices increased dramatically and ran over the limit for kseditor. It was shown to be within limit in blender. What should the proper setting for fbx export be in Blender to prevent this? Thanks.

This doesn't work for me with the Kunos P4

I do know the issue: the mirror is on the cockpit_hr node

But I haven't found a solution without editing the Kunos 3d yet. I believe CSP allows you to move the node but I can't figure out how to get it moved to the root.

Yes, @Tummie555 explained this to me as well, but he also indicated that the only solution he knew was to edit the 3D model in order to move the center mirror to a different node, like the chassis. Be great if it could be done more easily for those of us who have absolutely no 3D editing experience...
