OK......I don't know how to do any of that stuff , or even what I'm looking at to be honest. Why would someone release a track , without a spline?
your probably talking about the AI-line, which is a spline, a bended line, described by 4 points or 7/10/13...
fixing the ai-spline means basically recording a new AI-line iwth the ai-app (enable kunos dev apps for that)
if trackmaker did not do this, you only can run the track in practice mode or hotlap (which is used to record)

btw, in which context did you find this? can you paste the whole phrase not only thhis one word?

It's not the same car... it's the old model.
To have the new version 2019, you should take the ACC model :D
It's not difficult to do it, but it needs time to detach every single object you need, so you must be precise detaching, unless someone knows how to use the "skin/envelops" mode to detach safely every object selected, which I don't think is possible to do. Then you have to spend some time organizing the textures to create the correct shaders.

Uuuuhh... help ?

Are you using CSP ?
It happens with some other cars too.
Changing to another version of CSP mostly cures it.

It also affects the mirrors that are completely black on some cars. Another CSP version gets rid of that too, but with one car the cockpit then lights up like there are spots inside (when using headlights, or is flashing when in the pit lane).
Very strange glitches...

You need to unpack the kn5 file with CM unpacker in the showroom (check developer options and kn5 unpacker) and open the FBX with Kunos editor. There you select every window glass and check the window glass is set to: eAlphaBlend and the IsTransparent option is set to "true" and CastShadow is set to false. Glasses MUST be all like this, it's mandatory.

Is this an AI spline? If so, its just missing an AI lap.

When the track ( Reservoir GP ) wouldn't load , CM mentioned that it couldn't load the track because the spline was missing. I went back to where I DL'd it and it did have an Ai fix. I installed that and the track loaded , but I haven't ran it yet. Had this happen on a few tracks , and wasn't sure what it meant. I really have to learn how to fix this stuff , but kinda new to this scene and it's a lot to take in.

Btw.....did you get my message on the other board about converting RF2 tracks?

Just curious...
This would be a 'fix' when using the most recent CSP version(s)... right ?
Because when using some older CSP versions the windows have no issues (same with mirrors).

@Fanapryde
If the glass is not set correctly, the issue is there always.
For every car the transparency of the glass must be mandatory.

It the issue is related to a particular CSP version, I don't know, but I suspect that kind of issue is related to an option of glasses not set correctly. It take 1 minute to do what I wrote and check. If the glasses are set correctly (internal and external glasses, don't forget, if the car has both), then you will know it's a CSP related issue.

Worked like a charm, thanks a bunch !

@kupolemoogle
Glad my hint was useful! :cheers:

p.s.
Before saving the fbx into kn5, just be sure the car rim blur is not active, otherwise in the showroom you will see the car with rim blurred in first place.
Also, if needed you can save the "persistance"... which save permanently you change, just in case you need to do other fixes.

The track should load now. Bad spline is the AI spline, ai folder in tracks theres fast and pit lane. If those are missing or corrupt, CM no workie.

I did :P

Is it me or the RTM mods can't keep heat in their tires? I'm driving the Alpine LMP2 updated by Apexxer and tires seem like they're filled with coolant instead of air.

Seen the same thing it was a fix by Apexxer or Delp, or someone. Running mega tow in in the rear, mega toe out front (scrub for heat) with track temp at 32c and ambient at 26c you can get them barely to turn green, then a long straight and they're stone cold dark blue. Regardless of pressures.

Ok I'm not alone haha I'm a big Alpine fan boy.

Could you perhaps suggest a good sound for some overpowered muscle cars from the '70 era ? (V8 that revs up to 7500 rpm)
I am currently using he shelby and corvette '63 sounds, but if you have a better solution, I'll gladly try it out.
Thanks !
I’ll go test a few before I give a final recommendation, but check this out. Haven’t tried it yet, but it certainly fits what you’re looking for.
