And what was with a helmet not so?
Sorry but i don't understand the question, but a lot of "originals" are wrong or picked from 2009 season from other mods, haven't skin visors...etc
and i use different helmet model ( driver_80 ) easy to mod and adapt skins wich i didn't recreate myself

last of the day, F1 2008 Honda RA108 reworked, 3 remaining to complete grid...

Cool - I was just speculating when the car popped up so thanks for setting the record straight.
I thought this might have been a collaboration between you and Esprit, so glad to be corrected.
To be clear though, it's not that I'm opposed to a collaboration with Esprit. I've already lent my R32 V-spec II physics for the upcoming release. Perhaps we can do the same with the Supra to avoid rips like this and improve the mod.

Could you explain a little more about the scanned suspension?
I understand how laserckan helps make an accurate 3Д model, but I don't quite understand how it helps make the right physics?
Or I incorrectly understood?
I've never done it myself so I don't know the exact specifics like software or hardware, but basically if you run a scanner through the geometry of the car, you can get a proportionally accurate suspension geometry and find the geometric location of the balljoint centers and tie rod links.

With DWB and strut, basically you get a perfect, ready-done geometry. IRL there are things like bushing flex and link directional bias which will contribute to the curves mid-corner but lets not get into that.

The Supra rear is multilink with the LCA separated into two links, so the curves are *dramatically* different from a similar DWB. AC's ML simulation works fine curve-wise but the bumpstops don't work among other bugs, so I had to convert it to DWB + fix the anti-squat geometry for AC's vanilla anti-squat bug. While maintaining curves and the other aspects as well as possible.

Rear ML Orig
163, 385 = 0.60, 0.08
143, 364 = 0.15, 0.04
123, 342 = -0.33, -0.04 Ref
103, 322 = -0.80, -0.14
83, 302 = -1.33, -0.27

Rear DWB Adjusted
163, 385 = 0.51, 0.10
143, 364 = 0.13, 0.05
123, 342 = -0.32, -0.04 Ref
103, 322 = -0.82, -0.15
83, 302 = -1.38, -0.27

Without the laserscan, you have much less accuracy in the links. So these curves could be 0.10deg, 0.20deg, or more away from reality depending how well I would have made it.

I wanted to clarify - do you only replace the 3Д helmet model, or the entire kn5 driver?
Looking for a way to replace 3Д helmet model.

Just changed in the data.acd the model of driver used, driver_80 instead original model used... i tried with 3dsimed to replace helmet on a driver model, it's a bit hard... never achieved my trys

I know that The Rollovers are working with Shaun Clarke and Guerrilla Mods to release a GT4 pack of cars
It will be interesting to see how these cars will be released.
Shaun Clarke = freely release cars on his website and AC Mod Central group on Facebook.
Guerrilla Mods = exclusive to its Facebook group members and ban anyone that happen to be in other Facebook groups.
The Rollovers = some free mods, some paid mods. I don’t read/write Italian to register on their website, so I just wait for leaks.

Theoretical, of course. Not sure if anyone has made tires capable of hitting the triple century mark yet.
ask Steve Saleen not me lol.
the price for this thing is 1,000,000,000$! one of the most expensive special edition cars.

SALEEN S7 PACK
THIS PACK INCLUDES:
SALEEN S7
SALEEN S7 TWIN TURBO
SALEEN S7 TWIN TURBO LM

Gears feel weird on the TT LM.
Changing up from 3rd to 4th feels like changing DOWN a gear, and 5th and 6th feel like the same ratios as 4th.
Anyone else feeling this?

the Agera is not far off. and aerodynamically looks even better for simple straight line spped

Yes and no. From what I've seen/read about this topic, once you get over around 225-250mph it takes gobs of horsepower just to eek out another couple mph due to wind resistance and tire capabilities. So while 278mph may look close to 300mph, it would probably take the equivalent power of several normal sedans to achieve that extra 22mph. That's also when tires become a limiting factor, it takes specially designed tires to hit these speeds and the tire engineers run into similar problems with eeking out those extra few mph. I believe the tires were one of the things keeping the Veyron from going faster than it did, I think James May discusses this when he took it to the VW test loop.

the gears from the s7 tt were not changed so i just added power i didn't touch the gearbox at all.

That might be why they feel weird. Surely you need to change to gear ratios accordingly if you're adding a whole bunch of extra power?
the gearbox is short literally every racing game that had a Saleen s7 either a stock one or the tt it has been shown to have short gears forza, tdu ,gt,mc all did the same the tt version's gears were even shorter than the stock ones. Im not sure how they would pull off 480 km/h in a kit car.

it is a CLAIM. From a businessman who wants to sell and get funding from backers. Do you also believe the Devel Sixteen makes 5000bhp?
i would still believe in Saleen unlike the Devel , Trion nemesis, Weber faster one ,Arash af10, SSC tuatara and other kit cars
and Steve Saleen said that not some low life businessman just look on how they managed to pull out a kit car into a 390 km/h beast known as the twin turbo. I respect Saleen and what they managed to do over the years.
Saleen knows what they're doing unlike the fake social media company as the Develmotors.
