The only problem with posting old mods is that people might think they are updates and waste time downloading/installing/checking them, even overwriting personal tweaks that they've applied to the existing mod in the process. The Yugos you recently linked to were posted here months ago, for example. If you could search this thread beforehand and only post brand new mods or new updates then I think it would be appreciated. Anyone new to the thread can go through it (or search) to find mods they want, but simply reposting existing mods doesn't really serve a purpose except to cause confusion and clog up the forum unnecessarily. Mods only need posting once unless they've been updated, otherwise where will it end? All mods in this entire thread could be posted again... but for what reason?

Other than just posting links to mods with no information about them, I think it would be cool if people would suggest mods to try out, new or old, car/track combos that they have discovered and can recommend, etc. Most new mods are only in the spot light for a matter of days before they get forgotten so I for one would be open to getting reminders from time to time. My play time is so limited that I just want to jump in and have a great experience and not fart around with shiet ball mods lol. I'm grateful for the links that get posted but I guess I'm over the days of blindly installing and testing mods I know nothing about.

oh okay nice so I don't have to change anything on the mod? it has been done?

The way it drives, it looks like he already got his hands on it(if I'm understanding Masscot correctly). Can't express enough how completely and totally how unrealistic this thing drives. Like I said, drive one lap and you'll delete it. The thing drives more point to point X1000 that of a slot car. Yes, yes, yes, the hybrids and EVO's have a lot of down force and aero trickery - but this thing isn't even close, not by 95 light years.

"This is a physics only version of my interpretation of the Porsche 919 EVO that set the lap record at Spa last week. This is not meant to be a 100% accurate representation of the car as no real data or telemetry is available and I doubt it ever will be."

Those interpretations are an absolute fantasy. Lets hope someone like Arch or those that know the geometry and calculations come up with something. Hell, just get the thing in the ballpark would be an improvement by 10 folds.

Okay, so I'm scrolling FB and this popped up from SimRacingPics. It says it's links to all the tracks on youtube they have posted...looking at the bottom, a bunch of cars too.

Yup, this started off with one mfg and a handful of tracks, then it kept growing and growing like an unwanted wart.

Can anyone list the other versions of Le Mans? I only kept the FM7 version that LeBluem always updated that was by Turn10 and nobody.
And maybe with links? If not I'll just go search for them. If there are garbage ones, just ignore those.
TY

@leBluem (or anyone else who can help):
The freer camera (F7) is great but is there a list of controls anywhere for simple XYZ movement using keyboard controls?
Also, is there a way to get the lights debug menu to appear when using the freer camera and NOT in cockpit view? I'm placing choppers for the upcoming 🤬 track and it'd be very useful to get XYZ coordinates of where the camera is.
Ta muchly.

The reason for those crap you mentioned is because that R246 was a rFactor conversion.
The question is where he came from. Was it a conversion from GT, or just a similar mod?

These parodies on the GT tracks made me remember a good time spent in all parts of GT. I passed them all, starting ГТ1:) So even the original (fictional) track of Grantourismo cause evokes nostalgia and good memories. I want to drive them again, to the AC.
I remembered the first time I drive an FFB wheel on Leman in GT4. Wow, what an uneven track like hitting the steering wheel! After GT1,2,3 on the gamepad, it was like a new world. And it 's not just about the FFB, it 's also important how the track is made.
Look at Leman from the outside - how the car jumps (2:48).

Already then, Granturismo used laser scan to create circuits. Nordshleife, Suzuka, Tsukuba, Fuji, Indianapolis, Lemans, etc - still before the appearance of exact laser copies of these tracks in iRacing and then in other simulators, on them it was already possible to drive to GT4 and GT5.
Yesterday, on the wave of nostalgia I launched GT4 on the PC!:))) It works!
The GT4 's tracks still look decent. On the PC, the picture looks better than on the PS2.

I want some tracks from the GT4 to the AC.
Like this one.
Monaco is a complex and dangerous city track?
Try it! :)

Tried to make rip 3d mesh (Ninja Riper and 3d Riper DX). Not very successful yet. The geometry is imported with distortion. And textures - black :(
I will try still.
Can anyone help the council with this? How do I make RIP from the PCSX2 emulator?
