so that "well known russian site's" thread on AC mods got locked this morning lol.... one of the moderators had a tantrum over people complaining about a certain poster who was flooding the forum with sharemod links, so now its all locked. I find it kinda funny. Anyone else notice this yet?
 
Well I found the moderators response to the situation kinda extreme but meh what do I know. Anyway prob shouldn't keep talking about it here, been registered on this site since 2004 dont wanna get banished!

Next little fix. This time for Autodromo di Pergusa - Enna Pergusa 2003 converted for GT Legends by derDumeklemmer. It was converted and enhanced by Rainmaker for Assetto Corsa.

I fixed disappearing 3D Grass when driving to narrow, windy road and grass lines, tweaked a bit the brightness of several materials, new water shader for the lake, new vao-patch ...

Has this been updated? I know the one on Assettodb didn't seem to have correct stock data. I'll be able to tell if you if it feels remotely close seeing as it's the car I've had a lot of track time with. Albeit a modded '92 GT but I've driven stock too.

Eh, it looks better than the 80's ones but that's my jaded opinion. ;) Ugly is in the eye of the beholder.

The physics are kinda crap. My dad owned an '87 GT and I drove it a lot on the mountain roads where we lived. This mod, it can take the Hog Pen at VIR at 90mph (ridiculous - an M4 with R compound tires would struggle to do that).

I could go on: Steering is way too fast (almost like an IMSA GTP car), grip way too high, feels like it has aero grip (way too stable at high speed - the real car had front end *lift*), brakes don't fade/are way too effective and a hard fuel cutoff at 5000rpm (I could be wrong, but iirc it was more like 5800-6k).

Still, it has some endearing driving qualities: It actually tightens its line very nicely if you lift mid-corner. It's fairly adjustable with the throttle. Feels like a live axle in the rear (though I guess AC can't really model things like axle tramp).

So, it's pretty fun to drive. But it's not a Fox-body Mustang.

Yes I agree. I had a chance to drive this last night. It has toooooooooo much performance. lol
I hate to **** on a car I've had so much fun in but this is a race car in a fox body skin. The understeer is horrible in these. The brakes are HORRIBLE in these. There's too much grip, there's too much acceleration even in 5th gear. It feels like a 400hp car somehow here. The sound seems from a GT4 Mustang and is too throaty and straight piped.

All this aside, it is a fun car though. When I learn a bit more on working with modding these, I might use this as a first example seeing as the real life experience is what will make me change figures and not just looking at numbers.
I appreciate the step towards the right direction that Mike made on this.
This could be regarded as a "tuned" '93 GT I guess. Has disk brakes in the rear and all that grip and exhaust. Those wheels though. lol :ill:

A quick little fix for Matra Park originally for rFactor by Andras Csepecz, converted to AC by thestrobe8:
