The owners are F1SR - ASR Formula.
Acescumacher, Alesanchez, F1Lover and RF900R
None of them has ever given authorization in the conversion.
We know that this is the same mod sold on Sim Dream.

i'm a user to your mods, beta and public, i respect your work.
i understand your position, i never shared in public my re work of any illegal conversion by sim dream,
My passion for old f1s its not a job, just my hobbie,
if you thinks its not appropriate to share it in p.m, because you are the original modder, i'm ok, my custom "work" remain by now privatly.

With all due respect to your team, and the work you do,
Not marc_13000 stole your mod, but simdream. It 's already happened - mod is published for everyone. You certainly have the right to demand that everyone delete this from hdd. And some people will do it to do decent. Will it make you feel any better?
If I were you, I would take that mod, and post it on the ASR website. Let simdream be destroyed.
I have repeatedly made donations for ASR, and will do so in the future when new mods appears. And if ASR put out 1992, I 'll do it. Because ASR deserve it and simdream doesn 't.
But you choose the worst option for users who have done nothing wrong.
I understand your feelings - it is very offensive when your work is given for its own, and also money for it takes. But what happened can 't be returned. You can 't stop it, so lead him!
Thanks and donations will be for ASR, not simdream:)

Private means keeping the conversion for itself, without letting the whole world know about it.

Why didn't you contact me and ask permission?
Perhaps you would have had more chances by asking.
We worked on that mod for 4 years. And today we have redone the models, updated.
We are working on 3 seasons with a higher level of detail.
We do not do simple conversions. So I consider it unfair that our work is used without our authorization. Especially because our team is alive and we especially have this season in mind. Respect is what I ask.
And on the question that it's not the same as the Sim Dream mod, I can't be certain.

In my part i understand your position, my "rework" remain private now.

With all due respect man, but you should go after the ones that re-sell your work without your consent, not going after the fans that are doing a work of passion. You are making the same moves of a big company: bashing the fans instead of the ones that are in the wrong. I understand where you are coming from with your 4 years of work that should feel like you wasted them after seeing this, but he was making the changes for the owners of the mod, not giving it at random or reselling it and you could have handled the situation in DM's. For what I can see you have not turned mar_13000 away from your work, but I can assure you more than one reading this thread has been a little disappointed by the way you responded. But again I will not tell you how to handle your business or your fans/clients. And again I mean no disrespect.

So, let me recap, you do come here to complain to a benevolent hobbyist sharing his passion with us for free as it might have an impact on your little side business, taking advantage on foundations laid out by S397 and Kunos, with their authorization I am sure, since it is so important to you, on a MOD you have not released yet. I think we have reached a new low.

It is a wonderful addition to our mod collection and a pleasure to drive. I just want to mention that the sound is 10 times louder than the sound of the other cars, maybe some equalization would allow to use it without affecting the overall level of the game audio. Or we can replace the sound in 10 second in CM, I know, just mentioning.

Earlier I drove that fantastic conversion of Le Mans, thank you @leBluem for spending time and efforts on improving this track, it is because of passionate hobbyist like you that AC has reached an unbelievable level of immersion. Thank you also @Apexxer for improving on that Alpine A450 LMP2 I was driving there, your improvements, like the work made by @marc_13000 and all the other, spending their time freely just to make our experience better, is invaluable. we will never thank you enough. If some profiteers, working for personnel gain and money are not happy some time, it is what it is, there is a lot more of us than the few of them, so please keep expressing your talent and passion, we love you.:bowdown:

The conversation will continue with him privately, there is no need to give opinions and opinions on the matter.
As for Sim Dream, I contacted them first, without any response.
And if I'm here to complain (rightly) it's because I've associated this mod with sim dream.
After all, the origin is always the same.
If you think Sim Dream is a thief, then you shouldn't even buy it.

And working with SimDream says a lot about them tbh...

Hey guys do you know what file effects down force more when editing a car file. is the CD or the CL effect it more? ive been messing with the coefficient of lift file and not really touching the drag one. do higher numbers in the CL file just mean more downforce on that wing? like Rear wing CL if i turn it up the rear wing just has overall more downforce? sorry for the stupid question im just very new to this and just messing with some of the terrible mods i have before i delete them. im using notepad ++

Sim dream steals mods from tons of people, and we dont want to support them with money so what some people like Marc will do is improve them a little bit and release it for free. Even if you don't want your work distributed, wouldn't you rather have it distributed for free then some peice of crap (like the guys at Sim Dream) make money off of it?

I remember that I made this mod for rF1 free. And it should be used for this purpose. Who has other purposes, for onesty and correctness maybe ask me permission.

Well this isn't actually true as marc is saying only people that have the original mod by simdream, so paid for, can have his tweaks... i suspect this is where ASR are annoyed....

What is happening is a mod by ASR is stolen by simdream as a paid mod...which then the paid mod gets tweaks by marc.... he is working on a stolen mod however altruistic his motives...

He is doing simdream a favour by getting people to purchase the mod so they can have his improvements...

What he should be doing is simply giving away the paid stolen mod for free....thus costing simdream the real thieves..

Ask you for permission for what? How far down the rabbit hole do you have to go to avoid stepping on someone's toes?

marc_13000 legitimately bought the mod from Sim Dream which he now owns a copy of and can do what he pleases with including editing it and sharing it with his friends. It's not his responsibility to know the origin. He's a Sim Dream customer and bought a Sim Dream product.

Your problem is with Sim Dream and your frustration should not be directed at this forum and marc_13000 but at Sim Dream instead UNLESS, you've given Sim Dream authorization already and if you haven't done that than why wouldn't you submit a DMCA claim against them?

But isn't marc saying we have to prove we already own the simdream mod?
If not then great i'll take a copy of his improvements then...but i am sure i read it as "you prove you have purchased simdream mod and you get the tweaks..."

He said and i quote...
"If you have already the 1992 mod, p.m me to have a link to my rework..."
So i must purchase the simdream mod then.....
Why not simply just give us the whole mod?

How does ASR not know this marc is part of simdream and getting simdream sales?

Let this be a lesson, step number one should have been to contact marc_13000 privatly and all of this could have been avoided.
