i do not want to share any assettodrive mods i was just asking if the model was taken from a different game. I'm not against ripped mods i was just curios.
Hey alex i can vouge for dragster666, He is the king of sharing mods, but even dragster draws the line when it comes to sharing mods from assetto drive and he wont do it. As far as ive seen no one shares, VRC/RSS/IER/AD paid mods on this thread. ferrari enzo was the one exception ive seen but the guy reworked the car physics pretty heavily.

-if anyone knows how to delete a message plz let me know i just accidently triple posted trying to edit a message to delete it, didnt mean to spam the page. sry

BMW M3 GT2 2010 beta 0.96 by RPM

https://sharemods.com/pkekyb7b40ne/bmw_m3_gt2_2010_RPM_0.96.zip.html

Kunos M3 GT2 modified physics :

- Detailled Arero
- New tyres
- No ABS
- Various details changes

Installation instructions in the zip.

Changes compared to 0.95 :
- correction of an error in aero
- somme littles changes in aero
- return of the TC (I was wrong)

To make real grids (look for one of the two GT2, GT or GTE car (on the right, not GT4 etc)) :
https://www.racingsportscars.com/type/archive/BMW/M3 E92.html

Here you can found some links to do the grids : cars, circuits, etc...
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/endurance-around-2010-cars-tracks-grids-and-infos.391130/

Please say me everything that you do not seem realistic.

.....Maybe there's a solution that doesn't involve unticking this box to use your car, or for people who don't use protyres?

I was worried when I first read that, as I thought you may have to turn off the global option, which is buried in the options. But at least the per car option in the Drive section should cover a situation like this.

Hey guys just a heads up, when he says detailed aero. he doesnt mean like "a little more detailed" download this car and open it in custom showroom then click the show wings button. then prepare yourself because youll poop your pants. its so detailed it seems like a robot made it. and if you want to see even more detail go into a practice session and open the develeper apps, wings app. so you can see the Fins added aswell that dont show up in showroom. the detail is unlike anything ive seen for aerodynamics on sim

Making many wing give better behavior, but it's also more easy than gather 3 close wing in one, I'm less likely to go wrong.

But the problem is the CPU load : this car can't be used by opponents of course, and mostly I can't have 30 opponents when I drive this car with my old PC.

@Masscot and the rest of the people using the GT3 and TA 2020supra, both files have been fixed naming wise (no capitals) and the GT3 has the gearing issue fixed and a tiny bit of some UI update, also updated the upgrades logo, on gt3 to say gt3 instead of TA. i put both in a single file here to make it easy to download. very sorry about the file size (500Mb) i compressed this file so hard that if it was your buttcheecks excerting that force it would turn your ass hairs into diamond. but for whatever reason it's still 500MB on super compression...:(

That's a big file for just two cars, certainly. Have a look at your sound files. There's a 137MB folder 'sfx-samples' in the gt3 download. Are these directly used by the car or were they for reference? I can't ever remember seeing a folder called this before, so don't think AC references it. I might be wrong though.
Even the standard 'sfx' folder for each car is 272MB, which seem big. There are two sound banks in there, each taking half of that 272MB.
Maybe some redundant files in there?
Skin folders are also quite large.

Edit: nice job with the cars, btw..!

@megolito, I found a nice sequential shifting animation which could be a close fit for both of the Supras (TA and GT3), but with one problem: the animation is on the wrong side, with the driver shifting on the right. The usual 'INVERT_SHIFTING_HANDS=1' in data/driver3d.ini doesn't seem to work, it just removes the animation altogether. Any ideas? @GzeroD , you may be able to help here? I'm stumped.

Hi !

From my memory, the NAGP version is better.

Which "historic" are you talking indeed, the 60’s, 70’s or 80’s ?
There is also the versions from Sergio Loro.

Cheers. :)

OK !

The NAGP version is with chicanes and don't cost in FPS, It's very (very) well optimized.
The version of Sergio Loro is with no chicanes but It's a mid 60's version.

You got the "historic version" with the no chicane and chicanes version but I wasn't aware about the fact Terra21 worked on it.

So... I get back to the "all layout" version by Terra21... FPS are terrible here, I didn't remind It was to this level !
In the stadium, It's OK and when I drive in the long straights, I'm around 19 fps, trees are the devils.

By the way, the version with chicanes (reworked by NAGP) is more challenging about the driving... even if It's not the edge for it. ^^

Cheers. ;)

I agree. Terra provides great tracks, but he often (mostly) forgets (or does not care) about optimising.
Which is mainly why I have Sergio's Hockenheim installed and moved the Terra version to the bin.
I'm not getting as low as 19 fps but even under 35 is not acceptable any more. FFB with DD wheels start to lag when fps drops. Some say it starts when it's under 60 fps.

I have not tried the NAGP version. I downloaded the packs some months ago, but they need passwords to unpack and install. I asked on the NAGP Forum but never got any reaction...
