If you like the Kunos Alfa 33 Stradale then check out this Corse Stradale version from AL.

Totally different car but not too shabby at all.

And if you DON'T like the Alfa 33 Stradale in the first place then please call a doctor immediately because you're probably seriously ill.

This + Fonteny = serious fun! Thanks.

Hey all. I was recently playing around with Content Manager and I wasn't paying attention and accidentally replaced the sound on the Kunos Ferrari 458 GT2 and I don't have a way of getting it back short of reinstalling the whole game. I was wondering if someone could send me the SFX folder from that particular car pretty please?

New Mini Cooper JCW UK Challenge (F56)
from Pessio

Tried both (Pessio´s and Shaun Clarks) at Bilsterberg and must admit Shaun Clark´s version is better than this one provided by Pessio. IMO better sound, more skins and the cars behaviour is more forgiveable.

Have a look by yourself:

Not sure which one to keep now..

Physics felt fine to me for such a high downforce concept car (effectively a road-going aeroplane) with ridiculous power. - what was so 'bad' about it in your opinion? 'Bad' doesn't really say much.
I didn 't feel a high downforce...
This car slides like a regular car. He has to stick to the asphalt. Although to be honest, I didn 't remember his behavior in GT6 very well. You said "with ridiculous power..." And I remembered that there were several Redbulls X in GT6, including low power ones. For me, RedBull X is RedBull X2010 (RedBull X1) from GT5. These are two quick laps at Suzuka vs. Fettel:)
I still remember perfectly how it attack turns into full throttle as it holds onto asphalt. And let Granturismo not be the most realistic game - RB-X made an impression.
And this mod made no impression:)
But as I said - when I tried it, I thought it was the most powerful RedBull, I just forgot that in GT6, there were different versions, including weak ones.

i did this to but its not working for me :(

I just did it as a drag and drop but tbh I have no idea if it changed anything as I drive in cockpit view and can't see any shadows lol. But everyone says Shaun Clarke's Mini is the better one anyways so prolly worth installing that one instead. you can get all of Shaun's mods here https://shaunclarke35.wixsite.com/website/downloads

Or stick with this one...I'm just keeping both lol

After a few laps at Brand Hatch I came to the conclusion that it feels less stable and spins a lot easier than the Redbullx2010 that is on Race Department. It's still fast and has a lot of downforce but just seemed more willing to "let go" at a lower speed than the RD one.

Have you tried to reinstall current version in the Custom Shader Patch part of CM? or selected a lower version of CSP?

Also don't forget to restart CM.

Am I the only one that suddenly has a specific track going into night time (no matter what options or presets you're selecting), just to find it reverting back to normal after a couple of tries? It's like some preference stay on a sort of virtual memory that takes time to reset itself.

Just watched this - little bit of history about Crystal Palace race track. I never knew it holds the title for first ever televised race - how cool is that. Also it's just up the road from where I grew up but unfortunately it held it's last race a year before I was born :irked:

I had the same problem. Ive solved it starting the game normally (from steam launcher) and then a race. Now it works great. You can try that.

Does anyone know if Shaun's version is scratch made? Both cars have their ups & downs, but at least I know Pessio's is legit.

I 'll try 2010 tonight, too.
Redbull X2010 - it must be incredibly much downforce. It sticks to the road literally, because in addition to the advanced aerodynamics and passive ground effect, it is equipped with a fan sucking air from under the bottom, as on Chaparral 2J, and Brabham BT46C. In Granturismo 5 it was possible to spink it only because of a gross mistake - it drove as if on rails.

Tried Redbull X2010. It 's also a long way from the original.
The downforce is not enough, ground effect has not effect. At all speeds, the car behaves unstable. You can roll skid at any speed. It behaves like the usual formula 1 in AC, just with more power and aerodynamics, but does not convey the real character of this car.
You have to take your foot off the gas pedal where you need to go "to the floor." Slow turns are only slightly faster than normal formula 1, but 20-30km\h slower than should go RebBull X1. The maximum speed is also 20-30km.h lower.
I thought there was some kind of nonlinearity in control. The steering wheel becomes more efficient at larger angles of rotation. Which changes the nature of controllability in fast and slow turns. It shouldn 't be like that. Redbull X is the most stable and understandable car in the world. That 's how he turned out in the ГТ5. And so it didn t turn out in AC :)

The URD version is like glue, unless you happen to curb it, happened a few times on Spa and I majorly wiped out. :)

I only watched the first minute of that and not trying to be funny but the driving was terrible. Although I agree some corners were taken flat out and the car stuck to the road the majority of that was the car going wide and crashing, or the driver lifting off the accelerator to get round the corner. I did better than that at Brands Hatch last night when I took it out for a spin.

Yep, that's the only time I managed to spin was when my rear wheels touched the grass or a kerb otherwise it sticks like glue.

On the Mini debate... I have both but, for VR at least, FPS/performance is so much better with Pessio's version. Would be nice to have a decent skin pack for it but for reason of performance alone I will be racing his in future, though keeping both installed.

I wanted to show how the car goes, and not how the driver goes :)
Just the first video that came across.
Here's a tidier ride
how the car

It easily "peels off" where it should not :)

You have to drive a few races in Granturismo to understand what this car is capable of, then to run this Redbull in AC, to understand how far it is from the original.
The fact that this car is more “sticky” and faster than the usual Formula 1 does not make it the car that Adrian Newey invented.

I don’t quite understand why there is a debate about a non existing car..! ^^

Is It fun or not will be much closer than the question Is it realistic or not, that’s my opinion !
We can discuss again on the Auto-Union Type C... for example.

By the way, an interesting point of view... which no speaks about some non existing cars. ;-)

On the subject of the RBX cars, I don't quite understand why anyone would want to drive anything glued to the road with the accelerator planted to the floor all the time. That's not driving, it's just steering.
*shrugs*
For this there is a Maseratti 250F, Cobra 427, Lotus 49, Auto-Union :)
Because they are made like that.
And RBX is designed to set records on it. It’s not that I want to drive him. But it was interesting to try it on the GT. It was interesting to beat Sebastian's time, it was interesting to ride the Nordshliafe in the way this fanatic plane could ride. Someone transferred it to AC. Why not try and compare? I just tried, compared, and shared the observation, no more. This version does not allow to go as it should.
That is, if someone has not tried RBX in GT, and wants to evaluate what kind of car it is in AC, you should understand that you will not get the right idea about it.
And also about the "management" and "driving." When you just start riding it - it seems that it is too sticky, too simple, too uninteresting ... Until you start to drive fast, reaching the limit of the car's capabilities. Then it becomes clear that driving fast on it is not at all easy. This is an unusual experience worth trying.

Precisely why F1 cars in sims IMO are quite dull to drive.... The main excitement would be the G's, which you don't get.
I also quite understand there is an opposing view which hails F1 as the 'pinnacle' and it's drivers are the God's and the 'best' in the world and they are indeed the reason why the cars can corner at 180mph and nothing to don with aerodynamics...
