I have the clutch of my Heusinkveld Ultimate pedals set as a real race clutch (forgot the values but I'm guessing it needs around 20-25 kg pressure).
Try to let out that pedal very, very carefully...
But anyway, I have no difficulties in other cars.
Yeah, I figured. There are serious differences between hardwares. Almost no resistance with my G29 clutch, I can adjust it very easily.
This is the hardest car to launch for me too. Bite point is too close to fully depressed position.

Oh man, I thought he'd stopped doing FM7 tracks.

It's a tiny bit choppy for me in places (and when I say a tiny bit I mean a tiny bit) but I just put that down to my system not being the best.

That one is from FM 3 and FM 4 - if I remember correct! :)) Great to have this one! It was pretty famous!
Of course, silly me! You know what this means, of course - FM3 & FM4 tracks can be exported.
Hoping for Camino Viejo de Montserrat, Sedona Raceway Park, Iberian International, Ladera, Rally di Positano, Sunset Peninsula... all rich pickings and ripe for the plucking!

This port of Fujimi Kaido is fantastic, and probably benefits from being from an older game. Performance isn't bad (for hotlapping for me) and the sense of scale in VR is incredible. The changes in elevation are seriously scary! Nice touch with the animated water fall too, and having all the various layouts.
There are a thousand and one Japanese touge tracks in AC but this one kicks them all to the curb. I normally delete them after five minutes but this one's definitely a keeper, and part of that is because the road is nice and wide. Why do people make so many p2p tracks so damn narrow?
Have good memories of this track from FM3 and FM4 and so it's great being able to relive them in VR, just as God intended.
Thanks Esprit!

It is. I get 135.6 AVG fps (Stage A).
Looks really nice, detailed and very natural. Only issue on my side is some flickering bushes...

Definitely a keeper and another one to add to the list of favourites. The stuttering I get is barely noticeable and literally only happens on the first 200mtrs or so then it is fine from then on. It's a properly gorgeous track. I just tried it in the Mad Mike Rx7 and whilst I kinda drifted it - I also hit the barriers and walls a thousand times...but MY GOD the flames are mind blowing.

Jesus Christ!
This thing, seriously it makes you an absolute hero, best drift car by a mile for me, i mean these things are designed to go sideways and this thing does just that.

Even if you hate drift..you need to try this thing...it may convert you.

There's really no need for ballast of 65kg because 50 kg was already figured in as driver weight to the overall weight of the car, so maybe add 10 to 15 only. During testing and reconfiguration the car actually was too fast so we had to bring it back down. We didn't notice it's pace slowing below other GT3's at least. It was my take that the car was slightly faster than previous versions. :)
I let the AI run the car, maybe it's slower because of AI data change? (I don't know much about this)
I ran two tests (15+ laps) with %100 AI after the 1.2 version today. Soft slicks in ideal conditions. Even with ballasts removed, NSX's best lap was 0.6 secs behind of the field (Kunos's 488, 650, AMG) in Catalunya. For version 1.0, I needed 65 kgs of ballast. For 1.1, I needed 160 kgs.
I'm not consistent enough to test the lap times myself unfortunately but AI is definitely slower.

Thanks for the detailed info! I'll look into it more... AI can be tricky, it's funny because you can take a go kart and adjust the ai to run quicker than a formula 1 car lol
Haha, I guessed. Because I found that many mod cars (like Gue's M6) literally can't turn the bus stop chicane at Spa. AI data seems more important than I first thought.
Thanks again for the awesome work.
i hit a 2.03.8 now around bathurst, which is realistic. i was 3 tenth faster yesterday, but not always possible to hit a perfect lap within just a few laps.
Probably only the AI got slower then. I run tests with AI to create equal GT3 field. It got so much slower after last update.

Anyone wanna give COTA some more attention? It has improved some, but could use a little more. One of the more recent updates caused the grand stand windows to show up as a bright magenta, and whoever upgraded it added some extra umbrellas where there shouldn't be any. especially in the infield area, which isn't open for spectators (unless it's a very special event, like X-games or a rally race). During races, like multi-class and F1, the sides of the track have food and clothing vendors stands. Someone did add lights for night racing, but the tower could definitely use more. At night, the real tower is like a beacon you can see for miles away.

This is one of my local real-world tracks, I've been there several times for races and track days, and have been in the garages, paddocks, and have even walked on the track. The current version I have is pretty accurate for a mod, but could be improved.

See the magenta windows at the beginning of this "shakedown" video, and the tower lighting at the end. Oh masters of modding, please do your magic!

Man alive, it pisses me off when people 'review' resources on RD when they haven't actually tried them, but use the review process to ask why they can't get it to work (thus admitting they haven't actually tried it), giving the resource a bad review in the process just because they couldn't get it to work, even though everybody else has with no problems whatsoever. Numbskulls!

You could always report the "review" and get it removed...apparently the 4 or 5 bad reviews for LAC were deleted because they were just moaning about it being a paymod and not actually reviewing the track. But yeah I get your anger at this....I mean there is a discussion specifically for asking for help so why don't people use their brains and use this instead. Oh yeah....I know why ;)

Edit: oops just realised I forgot to give you your 4 stars cause I couldn't get this to work :D

I don't mind any level of reviews so long as people have actually tried the resource in the first place. Everyone's entitled to their opinions. But how the hell can anyone rate something when they've just proved that they've never even tried it? Beggars belief. People are baffling.

Yeah it is a bit of an odd one reviewing something they haven't tried cause they can't get it working, but you're not wrong when you say people are baffling.

On the left: a normal brain with bloodflow and the capacity for mental activity; (an individual who does not review a file on RD before trying it).
On the right: no bloodflow, inability to think through even the most basic of 'life's little challenges'; (an individual incapable of trying to fix even the smallest problem before assuming it must be someone else's fault), brain dead.

I wish someone would convert Simraceway's version from rFactor. It looks much better than what we have now. And while they're at it, they could tackle some other SRW tracks. I miss driving them :P I'd do it myself, but it's way beyond my skill level. But hey, if someone wishes to tackle it and needs the original files, hit me up!

Awesome find and mod!!! I was excited about the LA Canyons update yesterday, but THIS is even better... for me anyway. Life is good! Years ago I spent hours running time attack laps on this track using an Xbox 360 Wheel in front of a 38" HD tube TV. I think this track was what actually "smoked" my first Xbox 360 wheel (remember the recalls?). Now I can race it with a much higher quality wheel and pedals, AND IN VR! Yes, it's not the quality of LA Canyons, but it has always been one of my favorite tracks... and I am definitely rusty and need to rediscover the "flow" of this track so I can take the Suzuki SX4 around it like I once did. It's starting to come back to me! Video caps to come!

Okay, I tried google and it's not helping me a lot. I recall seeing a couple videos on youtube that have the Jaguar XJ220 LM Race Car from GT3-6, but I can't find a link anywhere to it. Does anyone here know where I can find such a thing or was it lost to time?

Also, I saw Zin5ki post this a year ago (found this page when googling something else):

Question: Where do I find that NSX and Nismo GT-R LM?

I think they’re both on Assettoland under Nissan and Honda respectively.
