I'm currently working on a skin for Zolder, already done vegetation overhaul, new kerb and road but still working on it.
If someone got good picture with details that could be use for texture, espacially in the pit or around the pits in grand stand etc
I would be really glad to put my hand on it.

In the pipes for the billboards:
-blancpain GT version
-DTM version

If you got something else you want to see, just ask.

PS: working on pascal version of the track, I personnaly think it's the most accurrate one.
Great news, I love the skins you create, they are all great! Thank you for your contribution, you are making AC more beautiful, one track at a time :)

Hmm you know what, this has got me interested now, I think im gonna look through these packs for any race conversions that I can make, will probably be fictional but sod it, I cant work on the chivas stuff right now but the modding bug demands my attention.

There is loads. Trust me. Stuff i have never seen before.

Do you have acc? I believe there is the laser scanned version of the track, and probably the best detailed one. And they did put a lot of effort on pits details as well. I can make you some Screenshots if you don't have it. If that helps in any way.
I don't got it, I got an old computer, if you can, it would be really kind.
-On my side, i need generals pictures of the pits, grand stand, trucks, stairs etc and details from the important objects in this like: wall, concrete, surface etc
-Best for me it's pictures taken perpendicularly and in front, not on the side, for example, you want to make a texture for a window, if you got a picture of the window on the side, you don't got a rectangle or a square, it's deformed so it's difficult to use it.
-And without vehicules or persons in front the object you want, for example a wall, if there is something in front of it, you got a lot post treatment to make it disappear.
-For details (concrete etc), it's best as close as possible and without blur.
-If you got picture of the tarmac and kerb, may be i will reworked them a second time if there is a lot of diffrence

Thanks a lot, but do it only if you got time and if it's not a burden, it's a game and a hobby and must stay entertaining and fun ;)

Just found the link here to Beto FR F40 competizione. He's done a fantastic job updating it, and I think this fantastic sounds will complete it. However, it seems you will need to tweak the power.lut a bit to match it with the new engine sounds.

New grass and some minor brightness tweaks and more lights:

Config is still WIP. So feedback what to improve would be nice. :)
Extract attached folder into track folder. Original config is backuped as ext_config_orig.ini if someone prefer original one, just rename that. :)
Hope you enjoy it.

Stay safe and well ...

I'll do my best. Must see how freely I can move around outside of the car in the game, didn't try that yet. But I will definitely try to be of some help.

thanks for all the great mods/tracks

Good find.
One thing i can tell you, even if the idea of drifting isn't your thing.
The drift modding community on AC their attention to details is astounding for the most part.

So aside from if you like to go sideways all the time (which i do from time to time) the cars they model are really rather eclectic and wonderful.

They will put all sorts of race kits onto the most bland of cars and put cool wheels on them etc etc add roll cages...
All you need to do then is fiddle and change physics (or set up) to race car...and you have a nice racing car good to go...for personal use obviously...

That page is a whole smorgasbord of nuts looking cars all ready to be drifted..or turned into race cars!! Love it!

for example...i am going to get this into the TCL70 group..currently drift spec but not for long..

Yep! i agree! There's alot of great models out there. But for some reason there's still not a good Nissan 200sx/Silvia S14a for some reason. there's just about everything else :P

Awesome car!!Is there any trick to remove the green windshield tint?It hinders the view.

Could anyone please tell me if the track still works fine after my changes? Because if it does work, then I will start adding pit boxes and start positions to other tracks. I just want to be sure that I didn't mess anything up before I proceed to another track.

Hi, just tested a full grid gt3 race and 32 car trackday, both worked fine with no issues from my side so thanks. I'd only recommend you add the following AI files to your download as it improves the experience significantly: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/acu-valenica-ai.26753/

If you're planning on adding pit slots to other tracks and taking requests, may I suggest the following that are currently suffering from what I call 'small grid syndrome':

- Losail International only has 2 slots
- Imola 1972 only has 16 slots
- Jyllands-Ringen only 15 slots
- Ordos International only 14 slots
- Phakisa Freeway only 10 slots
- Solitude 1964 only 16 slots
- TT Circuit Assen only 17 slots
- Cadwell Park only 18 slots
- Bilsterberg only 16 slots
- Aosta Grand Sport only 18 slots
- Euro Ring Hungary only 16 slots
- Fiorano only 10 slots
- Kastleburg only 14 slots
- Lemalands only 12 slots
- Mount Drama only 16 slots
- San Francisco Street circuit only 17 slots
- Shanghai City circuit only 10 slots
- Symmons Plains only 18 slots
- Toban Raceway only 18 slots
- Wakefield park only 18 slots

I'm not sure where I got some of these but if you don't have them then I can upload and then PM you links.

Sorry I didn´t tested it yet (can´t race at the moment), but I would recommend adding a second track layout for more pit boxes and start positions. This way people who drives online didn´t get any checksum error hassles with servers. Just my 2ct. :)
@Foxeway if you need help how to do this, just ask. :)
Imo I did this for Rainmakers Enna Pergusa 2003 version.

On the Dallara and saying the physics are perfect, they're not and Dallara themselves even admit they're not in the readme. They said they've used real data input where it works but changed certain things to get the correct result/feel.

For example, fiddling around with it today I noted that the mod car engine is naturally aspirated and makes about 475bhp and 575Nm, compared with the real car that is turbocharged and makes 395bhp and 500Nm. However creating the real engine specs means that the car cannot get past around 157mph due to the drag from the aero, whereas with the faked specs it hits the correct top speed at just over 170mph. Basically they've bodged the data where it's needed to allow the mod car to match the performance of the real car (nothing really wrong with this btw).

I'm going to do a little bit of testing later to determine if it's possible to keep the level of downforce generated the same, while reducing the drag to see if I can make the correct engine data produce the real world straight line performance. Mostly out of curiosity as to whether this is a limitation in the Kunos physics engine, seeing as I'm about to embark on a huge series of aero changes to pretty much my entire car Library (Kunos included) after doing some eye opening top speed testing this week.

Turns out it was absolutely possible to get the correct speed and downforce results with the proper engine specs. Added front and rear wings to the aero section, then edited the values so that the front and body create the quoted downforce of the normal car (somewhere ~700kg, can't remember) and then the added rear wing brings that up to the much quoted 820kg. With this tweak the car hits the correct straight line performance figures while creating the correct amount of downforce, all while using the correct 395bhp/500Nm engine specs. I can see why Dallara didn't bother as it was a bit of a ball ache and while technically more correct, doesn't really change how the car performs compared with the original.

some modded car's tires become bugged on the move, like they lose their shape integrity. Is there a workaround for this problem like editing their shader etc.?

Okay, after searching my track folder for any of these tracks and checking them around, I can say that:
1. I will definitely try to add pit boxes to following tracks:
- Jyllands-Ringen
- Ordos International Circuit
- TT Circuit Assen
- Cadwell Park
- Aosta
- San Francisco
- Shanghai City
- Symmons Plains
2. I might add pit boxes to these tracks, depending on how long the quarantine takes where I live:
- Fiorano (might be difficult due to the unusual pitlane and in general very tight space)
- Solitude
- Imola
3. I don't have any of the following tracks:
- Losail International Circuit
- Phakisa Freeway
- Euro Ring Hungary
- Kastleburg
- Lemalands
- Mount Drama
- Toban Raceway
- Wakefield Park

That would be all, sorry for the long post.

McLaren 720s GT4 Version 0.9 by MisterWaffles and the GT4 Team

View attachment 905528

Addditional Credits:
- Power Curve and Suspension tweaks: @Beezer215
- Additional Testing: @Fanapryde
- Tire AI: @GIBBONS
- Original Mod: 1st Racing Studios (ripped from Forza)

After a longer wait than usual, the McLaren 720s GT4 mod is ready to roll (probably). The car is quite spicy when it comes to lap times despite being so heavy (1460kg), so a little restrictor on certain tracks wouldn't hurt when setting up races. Running the AI unrestricted shouldn't be a problem though. The AI is a little slower than the Kunos Cayman GT4.

Change Log over 1st Racing Studios "720s GT3":

- Increased weight
- Reduced power
- McLaren pit crews
- 3 new simple racing skins
- Aero changes
- Suspension tweaks
- GT4 hard compound tires from GIBBONS AI
- AI alterations

Known Issues: (all related to model)

- Void in the footwell
- Weird brake light setup
- A luminrank would be nice at some point

Of course, contact us and we'll take it down and all that yadda yadda.

Otherwise, enjoy please!

What assurance can you offer that these cars will adhere to the same BoP as the Guerilla/Rollovers GT4s?

In times like these, when nothing is warranted at all, are you seriously demandig assurance on the performance/fitness for purpose of a free mod of a sim racing software?!

When the modder even advised that "a little restrictor on certain tracks wouldn't hurt when setting up races"?!

What assurance can you offer that these cars will adhere to the same BoP as the Guerilla/Rollovers GT4s?

Cool stuff, I'll look forward to your updates. For Fiorano, yeah you're probably right, it's a test track rather than a race venue after all.

I really hope you can add Losail to the list, it's a reasonably good circuit, but with only 2 grid slots it's currently useless, with some more added then I'm sure one of our resident config experts could be persuaded to bring it a bit more in line with modern AC standards. It can be found here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/losail-international-circuit.2358/

I've sent you links to the other tracks you don't have (except Mount Drama which is on RD), just in case there's one or two there you fancy doing as well.
