@Whitestar Yes these are great. Another popular choice is the btcc 2.0 from Shaun Clarke:

https://shaunclarke35.wixsite.com/website/downloads

But if you like vintage, hell even if you don't, do this (maybe you already know this):

Take these cars ITC1996 season:
- Alfa 155 V6 from here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...-post-paid-mods.307899/page-787#post-13006452
- Mercedes C180 from here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...-post-paid-mods.307899/page-408#post-12806340
- Opel Calibra from here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/opel-calibra-itc-1996.7943/ ( and optionaly skins; https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/opel-calibra-dtm-skins-1995.28283/)

Then put six, seven of each in the race, add 10 restrictor to alfas, 100 agressivness to all, pick an alfa for yourself, and you will have racing at the finest what AC can offer. Trust me. ;)
thanks so much for this pointer....just did a race with this exact combo at zandvoort and what a blast. any other suggestions for racing

On my way to try them, I'm sure that I ll enjoy them a lot, I ll try ITC mainly, you give me the will to do it.
After, which one do you prefer the WTCR or the BTCC?

well that depends on your driving style and preferences. Shaun Clarke's cars are very sensitive, they have serious lift-off oversteer, and sensitive break pedal. they have better handling, but you have to be very gentle with your pedals. WTCR are more forgiving in that manner. And WTCR are more correct in matter of graphics and skins. But both are ok IMO.

As for ITC, i've went and and checked again, as it was a while ago i was downloading them. The ones i posted before are more inline with the 1995 season. The alfa is. For 1996 season alfa and opel put out an evo version of their cars, and the opel linked before is also the evo with '95 liveries, same goes for mercedes (there we don't even have 1995 liveries, but drivers very mostly the same and the car did not change much). 1996 season can also be recreated, and would be more accurate to real life, because as said both calibra and mercedes are from 1996. If you want the 1996 season, then you should download the following alfa:
- Alfa 155 evo from here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/x96c4obn7y3vc9b/CAR_Alfa_Romeo_155_2.5_V6_Ti_ITCC_1996_v1.5.rar/file

This alfa drives also very nice, but i prefer the '95 version, cause you can throw that thing around the track how ever you want. For 1996 no BOP is needed.

have you tried this:

Here the link, but I do not know what this mod worth, if someone has already try it, would be happy to have some feedback about it

WTCR V3.0
If this is edited and bundled by Maki and Delpinksy, then this is best WTCR mod in my opinion.

So these work for the new Ginetta GT4 and the old one? I'll have to try that out in a bit as they looked like different models from my previews. Haven't done much testing yet but from the numbers, that new Ginetta GT4 (rhd &lhd) need some weight to play nice with the rest of the pack. They are pretty high up on the P/W ratio.
Modder says it works for the 2017 version and the recently released Ginetta GT4 on Shaun Clarke's website. The download file is sorted as such... there are car folders for 2017 and 2019 versions.

Remember what i said about interesting drift mods with interesting upgrades....
That could be turned into interesting track weapons...

Would it be possible to get a copy of this Alfa from you, for some reason I get an error when I try to use show room and it also crashes CM when i try to drive it. It's the only MADZ car that does this.

It has issues due to the bonnet as they made it carbon and it has crashed my Cm few times too.

Just fiddling with it to see how to return the bonnet to the same as the rest of the body work.

It's now non drift though.

For anyone interested, I have optimised the ACReboot version of Zolder. I know many of you have stated that Pascal's is more accurate to drive, but I have really liked this version since I first drove it and the recent discussion got me doing a fair few more laps on it!

https://mega.nz/file/lApmzIJR#2MERYBy5JPncN-O-Afl3aptPTemyNhjECExDpRgbZN4

This is really good. You've improved one of my favorite tracks really nicely. I can maintain 60+ FPS on a rather potato PC with a 10-car field and everything turned up, and it combines well with F_B's Zolder AI on RD. Thanks!

I have tried to find a solution to an issue I experience with many mods you have shared on your blog and finally I have a lead to what the actual issue may be.

1) some of your mods have a KN5 file that has been exported with the blurred objects ticked which results in wheels being shown with their blurred objects when first loading into the custom showroom.
When ticking and unticking the blurred objects feature in custom showroom the model is displayed correctly

Solution:
This has been discussed here in the thread earlier I remember - apparently it has to do with teh state the blurred object is in when exporting the model to KN5 format in KsEditor.

2) many models (all recent models) have their LR cockpit permanently displayed when loading in custom showroom (or redoing preview renders)
This results in a strange looking cockpit that may not be very obvious when just casually looking at the model but is VERY obvious when closer inspecting the cockpit itself.

I do suspect the same cause and solution to this problem as above with the blurred wheels.

Could you please have a look into this and perhaps experimentally export one of the recent models both ways (change the state of blurred objects and LR cockpit before exporting to KN5)?

This would be so awesome as I am particularly enjoying your "OFF THE WALL" focus on exotic, rarely covered vintage cars like the many different Porsche variants ;-)

A very good car to experiment with these two issues is the latest release of your Porsche 917/20 pink pig (has BOTH the LR cockpit AND blurred rims wrong saved state problems):

- the state of the car on first loading (blurred objects AND LR cockpit are displayed OVER the regular model objects)

- after unticking blurred objects and ticking and unticking LR cockpit everything is displayed correctly ;-)

Any release from the past several months shouldn't suffer from these problems, if it does it is an oversight, just poke me and I'll fix it.
Plenty of my older stuff still has it as I haven't gone through every single car but when I do updates I try not to forget to include the fix.
CM is brilliant the way it can fix this though.

:cheers:

Just got round to testing the Maple Valley upgrade, thanks to everyone involved, it now looks miles better and I can run a full race grid without frame drops compared to before when I could just barely hotlap with the occasional stutter.

One question, anyone else had problems with the short reverse layout? The other three layouts work flawlessly for me but it drops back to CM in the middle of loading the short reverse layout and says 'Race Cancelled' with no further explanation. Doesn't matter what mode I use either, always the same result.

There is error in the models_shortrev_ini file: two "Model_8" entries.

Replace with this: (change file name to models_shortrev_ini)

I only wish Illja fix that annoying bug/message "sorry for the inconvenience. reinstalling CSP might help" - It started appearing randomly everytime I exit a race or replay

Anyone have problems with a few of the ai not getting away at the start

I've noticed it a few different tracks and when you get back round to the start line all the ai just stops

sorry if its off topic not sure if its a mod problem or not

I can't find anything new about photo mode in the CSP patch. I use F5 and then adjust camera, Fov, etc. Are there any changes to that?

Maybe you've just missed it:

New app replacing original Photo Mode app:
- Simple CPL simulation for screenshots;
- Saving and loading camera positions;
- Preview shot before saving;
- In replays:
- Adjust shutter speed for accumulation motion blur;
- Switch lights, brake lights, damage, dirt or driver on and off in replays;
- Change time of day or spin whole track around to get light where it needs to be;

And yes, it is fantastic now.

I agree! Now, let's wait for the option to open doors and hood (for cars that allow it), as for the roof we already have the option to do it ingame. :D

What is the CPL simulation thing exactly?

But how do you launch that new photo mode? In a replay with F5?

What is the CPL simulation thing exactly?
It's a lens filter, a polarizer lens filter used in real cameras, to reduce the glare from reflected surfaces, it also can reduce the hazzy, like to make the sky popup the colors. In some cases, you can also remove the reflection in glass/water.
I mean, this is what CPL in photography means, so, I imagine that this is the same here.

You have to move your mouse to the right of the screen and a menu will slide from right to left, there will be an icon for Photo mode App (I'm not at home now, so I can't remember exactly the name, but as soon as I get home I'll make a screenshot showing where)

You must also activate the "New Photo Mode App" in CM -> Settings -> Custom Shaders Patch -> Extensions -> GUI:
