The recent extra features like exhaust smoke and hot brake smoke add even more immersion and then I had to laugh very hard when this Range Rover passed me. Did (s)he fuel red diesel in stead of unleaded 95 and do you think (s)he stopped? No way just kept driving:D

BTW I drove the classic Ford and this Range Rover is AI. Is it random or a setting?

I think they need to book their Rangie in for a service.

I only get that error when using the quick drive presset
I think you must have a car installed that is coflicting with the vehicle in my quickdrive file. the Corvette only has 1 LOD so it can't have an error with LOD B

If it is intentional, it is lovely.
It reminds me those tuning kids that assemble big turbos, in those first Diesel Ibizas and Golfs, and are driving like they were racing, leaving a black smoke where they pass.

I predict a large increase in the number of lifted diesel pickup mods after the release of this new exhaust smoke...

I do not understand why you are grafted on it..

That’s the point. I “grafted” on it as this is an open forum about modding. We all have opinions. When somebody constructively gives you some feedback in the open, if you really don’t like that, maybe tell them privately to take it down and/or continue in PM. I was not being negative hence the way I ended my post. As you are starting to see, the more content you are creating the more critisicim arrives, and if you haven’t already seen; sometimes that can be very nasty indeed. Some people are horrible towards your work no matter how much effort you put in.

I’m sorry to hear about your problems but no need to explain that to us all, we are all going through something. I hope all picks up for you on that front I really do. My advice would be to leave all of your emotions aside from the content you create, don’t hold onto it like it’s your baby. Once it’s out it’s out. You’ll need some hard skin for the crap that some people will give you for absolutely no reason at all other than to feel better about themselves. Ignore all the negativity and embrace what you create, just don’t get attached.

Anyway that’s my personal opinion, let’s leave this and get back on topic, I wish you the best in these strange times and keep creating those amazing skins!

I think everybody should calm down a bit. These are hard times for everybody and sim racing for most of us is a way to keep the sanity in these times. Everybody is a little bit on the edge and often something someone says can be misunderstood or taken the wrong way. Let's all remember why we are here and try not to take everything to hard and to much to heart. And maybe think alittle before posting, so nobody gets offended unnecessaraly.

To get back on topic, i'm back with some more south american stuff (and other, keep reading). It's funny cause i live probably the furthest away from there possile and had no interest in these competitions before. But anyway been digging around that brasilian erl site, and found some more very interesting content. Excellen content in fact. First, here is a link to yet another brasilian track, same quality as the others, same problems as the others:

Santa cruz do sul

then, we have an excellent mod pack of de marcas TCR cars. I know we have an old pack, that has been updated and it is pretty decent, but this is something totally diferent, it's newer, it has more cars 6 (Chevrolet, Renault, Honda, Mitsubishi, Ford and Toyota), they are BOPed together and they drive very nicely actualy, and look much better than the original mod (find link on the page posted):

https://www.erleague.com.br/erl-copa-marcas

Moving on:

we have the GT500 mod pack, late 2000s i would say, but it is totaly different than Autobacs's one we all know, it has 4 cars (Lexus, Honda, Nissan and Toyota) and they drive interestingly, for lack of a better word. Definitely more challenging than the ones we know, not a bad mod at all:

And there is more, if you like digg around the site, you may find more interesting things.

And to finish things of, yesterday a hungarian group posted a mod pack on RD, which was taken down very soon after. Probably the mod has something to do with URD mod, even though it drives and looks diferent, to say the least. They claimed in the post, that the mod is scratch made, but i highly doubt it, even though the cars do look different, especially on the inside and drive different than URD ones. Anyway if someone wants to try it, DTM 2020 mod, which actually represents the 2018 season. Not bad at all, except for the sound, which is very silent and weird, but that can easily be replaced in CM. Anyway they have a link to the mod in their car description, so i,m posting it here. They are not as good as URD, but they are free:

Hi guys!
I am experimenting with shaders. I want to achieve realistic chrome. I look at how it is done in different mods. It doesn't look like real chrome ...
In this video, Ilya shows local reflections, and chrome looks realistic. But in my CSP i can’t get such chrome in any mod. Was it available? If so, how can this be included? And a similar question about water. In the second video, Ilya shows beautiful water. Is it possible to do this any mods?

This is how chrome looks on my side. I think very realistic. Latest CSP in combination with RTFX ACC 2020 filter (but also other filter like A3PP, SOL etc will give the exact same effect). So it is possible to replicate it. If needed I can share my CSP and video settings and that's a lot of screens ;)

Hey guys, is there a Pug 908 Hdi with more than just the one skin?

I've tried making skins for it by taking apart the Kn5 to find the right texture files, but getting them to work is beyond my knowledge. I basically spent today swearing everytime I refreshed the previews to find it wouldnt load the new .dds from the skin folder haha.

Also trying to update the R10 tdi drivetrain and torque levels. The one available has 6 gears whilst the real R10 only had 5. It massively lacking in torque too, getting beaten out of the corners by Pescarolo and LC70 in the pack. Initially I thought they were too fast, but laptimes at FM7 Le Mans are about right for them whilst the R10 is more than 10 seconds down. I'm using Assetto Corsa Car Tuner to update it and I can get the power levels about right, but I cant get the bloody gear ratios to work properly with 5 gears.

Well simple as this Alpine has to without a doubt be the worst GT4 car in the game so far, the model is sub par, the physics make no sense, the turbo has so much lag it would put the group 5 cars to shame. I dont know what acfl were going for as it didnt match the kunos GT4s at all, it doesnt match real laptimes at all. I am simply just confused.
I agree, that Alpine got a bit of some work done to it to get it back into GT4 territory. Too stiff and well over powered.

hello guys! does someone know how to put grass fx on bahrain 2020?
It already has it.

"How dare you" --- bring that brat up in this forum of peacefulness and virtual exhaust smoke.

i simply don't see the point of putting a photo
So you're "gift" to us is taking a paid mods car from DRM Revival, copying and pasting a couple files from a couple other cars into it and then uploading it to RD all while while no foto needed.
Hey, you do you.

So, the error message after a race (at random times) that froze my computer & told me to up-date csp has changed to just an 'unexpected error' message (with computer freeze) after updating to csp 0.1.52.

@Beezer215 it's a paid mod, ok i get it but what i did is creating a car using bits from the pay mod itself; that's Legion levels of rework (kinda)
even because on touringcarracing.net it says that the K2 has 5 gears whilst the real one have only 4. the "K2.5" is like my perfect group 5 porsche and also any petrolhead's

Ignore daans recommendation and do not buy anything from SimDream. They are not a legitimate business, their unauthorized conversions are being sold for profit.
Nigh on all their content is available for free, via various methods. Although not linking to said content here seems to be of such importance that even the thread title has quite annoyingly been changed to ram that down our throats every time we visit this thread.

Much of the content has also been polished by others, many by members here (albeit some of the mods began as turds, which the proverbial polishing of often serves little purpose).

I've just made a post regarding this, because i've heard it somewhere. If it is repacked stuff with a price tag on it, then what's the point of not posting it? if someone uploads it they are going to put someone in court over stolen stuff? just lol.
