It is, considering it's freely available on rF1 and these guys are trying to get everyone to donate to their converting scam, stuff that is already freely available shouldn't be monitised, I'm pretty sure that's called PLAGIARISM

IMO you cannot say that @easy belongs "these guys" you mentioned. He does a lot for GTP except a few conversions on special request.

can someone make 2 skins for me? (and public)

Alfa (she asked) would look sweetly dripping in a red/white dress with this theme

Italian hillclimb championship winner marco gramenzi, track Reventino in my region (calabria), monster! unfortunately I own both the car and the liveries but they are private, sorry for the MSC mod. we hope that someone else has replicated them

I made some adjustments on the lotu- i mean bitter GT1s top speed and the car is now naturally aspirated. and it is slower than the lotus gt1,
like how it should be, but it does have more horse power. The gears are long too, i would do a version were it has the short gears like the bitter gt1 in its early days, but i want to make the car somewhat competitive against the grid.

Well you have 2 different cars there. First one is the evo from 1996, the other is the dtm 1993 livery from Nanini, stock Kunos car and livery. The first car was made by F. Vandeli and I made an update to it a while ago. Here it is. It has the Martini livery in orange and white. No red one sadly, but that should be an easy fix:

Question to the group and those who own both AC and ACC and race in VR:

Is ACC worth it for GT racing if I have all the same cars and tracks in AC?
Is the racing AI better?
Is the Weather better?
Is the overall Graphics Better?
Is the car feel better?

I won't give up on AC of course as the variability is insane.

Just asking from a GT Racing perspective as I like to jump in and just do a few GT racers now and again compared to F1, vintage, GRP C etc etc etc on AC.

Just wanted to quickly post a few AI updates I've been working on lately. Link for tracks should be here in this thread or over at Race Department.

Sidelines for Estoril:
https://mega.nz/file/K8pySQqQ#rDZi3WHsBx_8L7xsP8SWkfS_q_9wuu_cTPDcymL2Dmk

Just wanted to tighten sidelines a bit for open wheelers. Original AI works fine for most cars, so back up original files in case you like that dirt kicked up in your face.

Fuji Speedway 2017 AI:
https://mega.nz/file/Tkx2gAwJ#vo7AFLSc6W2giPaTJUtZk2yLlJInP9idTreADqrEM-Q

Rework of original AI I did earlier this year, just tweaked a few lines, maybe a little quicker. Also posted at RD.

Okayama 94 sidelines and pit reworked:
https://mega.nz/file/fwpkDSyb#tO0T0UwwvHdGzYxfLL5Vp0SXtPfdjbfyicDMDNcmeLE

Can't remember why, but here it is...

Rollovers Marrakech sidelines and pitlane reworked:
https://mega.nz/file/21x2BIaZ#qYl4IGeE11lQFmjArsPHetuGV-XmULhjf6IS7QWvcYU

VAO added, original fast lane works, just need to fix sidelines and pitlane. Tested at 80% aggression with WTCR and BTCC mods in mind.

Enjoy, and let me know if you find issues with the downloads.

Later,
Kevin

edit: vilareal deleted, new version will be included in track update by @shi

Sure, all you need for high frames, everything maxed and no stuttering is a quad 3090 rig. :boggled:

Have you tried this version? What do you think? There is another version by Terra21 from some time ago.

I just had a quick go on it and absolutely love it when compared with the Terra21 version (I was using Assetto-fr's edit of Terra's track). It might be the result of switching to a 3080 and suddenly being able to max grassfx etc but the difference was night and day. I'll run some laps later on both of them and compare timings.

Hey Guys,
Tried to run a race weekend at Port Newark with the VRC lithium. Even though I fully complete all sessions (30 mins practice and 15 min qual), all AI cars go into the pit at the end of first lap. Would anyone know what might be the culprit here?
Appreciate any guidance.
Thanks guys!

Does anyone else find the graphics in AC to be better than ACC? My AC graphics look much better mostly maxed out, but still a ways off than ACC does completely maxed out. It seemed odd, but I find AC to look much better overall.
I don't know about that. I have ACC highest settings and I'm getting ~90 fps in 4k. (didn't need 4 3090's either lol)
AC can look good yes, but I was getting 60-70 fps because something isn't playing well with each other. And that's pretty much high on a few settings but there's only a hundred of them in CM so who knows. On top of that, some of the X-Wing fighter trees, stagnant cartoon crowds and shadows breaking plane with the track break the immersion among other things, like sounds missing or black objects appearing or whatever isn't working in CSP that particular day. It looks real good for it's age though when you get it straightened out. That's part of the problem though. It's always changing and it's this PP filter or that PP filter now or this doesn't work with that or now you have to reset SOL again. Get's to be a bit much but finding consistency is key.
I don't reshade or any of that though. On a LG CX 55" OLED until I go VR soon enough. How I get better framerate on ACC than AC is beyond me.
ACC is pretty consistent though. The dynamic track objects and people, more detailed textures, drying line on wet track, rolling starts and the biggest thing, you turn it on and it just works.
Will never meet the content desire AC fulfills though.

Well do the same on a monitor in ACC. VR is a completely different story.
Just upgraded my 1070 to a 3080 and now is the first time i can play the game with AI. (with rendering set to 60%)

ACC in VR really suck when it comes to optimizations. (pretty sure it's the worst VR game ive tried when in comes to that.

If GT3/GT4 is your thing, look no further. for me.. yaaaaaawn.
YES, by massive leaps and bounds, and going to improve more in next release as well.
No, SOL/CSP is still better.
Subjective, ACC is cartoonish to me, looks like HDR without HDR on.
YES, massively better, FFB in AC is still stuck in the dark ages. (but, again subjective, if i spend a few hours racing leagues in RF2 both AC and ACC feel stupid to me.)

Maybe this tells a better story, noting I have owned ac the longest and rf2 for the least amount of time... something is about to overtake something and the rest will just live.. behind...

you might nearly be able to run VR on max in that config.. nearly...

it is fixed and exhaust smoke added

the Alfa 33 by Kunos has the real sound (mostly). I have now boosted the gear sound a bit.
@Vassalfada
on a side note, I have Zolder09 converted from the FREE RealTimeRacing (Henry Roos "Simbin"). Since it was free, the conversion should be allowed on RD, right?

Actually, the Alfa 33 Stradale was powered by a 2.0l V8 (which they successfully enhanced for the 33/2 and 33/3 prototypes), so it sounds very different from the actual 33TT12 flat 12 engine.
Then, the Kunos 312/67 sound is still the closest thing we have in store for now.
Just for the reference, and the pleasure to listen to it, here's my TT12 sound playlist (the SC 12 was the latest evolution of the 33, it got the same engine as the TT but had a monocoque chassis instead of tubular):

As for the RTR Zolder, I don't think this version is that much better than the best Zolder we already have in AC.
Though, I can't really tell about the copyright, even if this track was distributed for free, it doesn't mean that it's automatically copyright free.
And to be honest, the ownership of this track is a bit particular, as it was commonly developed and financed by both SimBin and the RTR company, and even think there was a third partner involved :P

One sure thing is that the old SimBin company is not anymore and that the responsible persons are not part of the new S3S company (Henrik is long gone since 2012), so there's no one to ask except maybe Klaus Wohlfarth himself, but I certainly won't disturb him for such a demand :D
I would say that the conversion of this track is not more nor less risky than any other track conversion from others commercial games, sorry for not being able to be more specific ;)
