On some cars from the mods, the headlights shine too close (second screenshot) , it makes driving at night very difficult, can this problem be solved? I can change the brightness of the headlights for a specific car and the beam width, but i can't find a setting that changes how far the headlights for a specific car will shine.

Tbh I've already done an integrity check on steam but nothing happens, sounds just stop working randomly.

In the next few days I will try that mod and let you know if it works

... I believe there was an AC update that broke these sounds...

If I'm not mistaken, the last time Kunos released something for AC was in 2018, and it was the Ultimate Edition DLC for consoles... so probably the cause of the problem may be related to an external mod, not with an official update ...

That can be fixed from the graphics settings, in the "mirror quality" option.

I am quite late to the party, but I'm currently in the process of converting the track as it is one of my favourite fictional tracks ever! It has been a nightmare so far as I am not very experienced in trackbuilding and maya, and it will take some time.

Update: Finally managed to combine the meshes and got it running in ac, the trackmesh will need heavy improvement because it's way too low poly and I haven't done UVs and materials yet. Many new things to learn, this has been quite a steep learning curve !

"High quality" doesn't impact blurriness. It just makes it so transparencies are reflected, the mirror render distance is pushed out and there's anisotropic filtering in the reflection. To get a clear image, you need to pick a mirror resolution that isn't super low! Set it to something reasonable like 128x512.

If that doesn't help, see if it's the same in other cars or if this particular car is somehow borked.

If it's all cars, then, if you have the latest CSP, check out the new option under Smart Mirror called "Add MIPS to rear view mirrors". The description says "reduces aliasing in reflections". I suppose it's possible this could, if something goes wrong, introduce blurriness.

Mate, the Abarth is different.
A completely new 3D body should be built. There is a GTR2 version, but too low poly - can be used, but... so the Abarth would be a completely new project.

Yes, it can be solved by changing the direction of the light source.

Fair enough. I don't know 3d stuff, I thought perhaps you could modify what you have already done, rather than start from scratch. At the end of the day, it's your call if you decide what work you've put into it is worth altering or throwing away.

I won't throw it away... maybe I'll modify it a bit and make it a rally version in the future.

but surely, while we dont have AC2, isnt it better than having nothing updated? Imagine having AC and no mods or anything updated, and we're waiting, because we dont want update after update.. I think AC wouldnt be anything like it is today and no AC2 would be considered.

Mate, I'm also a modder - I have no problem with mods or updates.
However, it is a problem if a certain mod "obligatory" be used if I want to use the others.

What I do care about is that without reflections FX there's still no rear lights, blinkers, brake lights... only reverse light.
Just repeating this because there must be something 'wrong' since it's my only installed car with refraction lights where they don't work.

I know about the animation with trunk and hood, but for me it's not really relevant to do new animation for these. But who really uses these animations ingame all day? In showroom they are working as they should.

I didn't get enough time to look at the refraction again, so for this update i didn't changed anything on the refractions. When I have a bit more time in the near future, i'll take a closer look at the problem with the refraction. I didn't want to delay the update any longer because of the refraction problem.
