@delpinskySorry for the late reply, I just ssaw your message. Well you can do this:
If you need a different shaped 3D numberplate, then you should use a 3D editor in order to clone and modify the shape of the existing one(s) from my car and shepe it the way you want it, save it as an external .kn5 file and load it/them in game using CSP code.
- go to the skin folder and look for Blancpain_Numberplate_ProAm_Colour.dds and Blancpain_Numberplate_ProAm_Emissive.dds
- You can use blank small textures (with alpha channel) in order to hide the numberplate or simply rename those dds files.
- You could also rework the texture(s), if the class you intend to portrait has similar shaped numberplate.
But if you just want to skin the numberplate, once you got rid of the numberplate the way I wrote you, you're good to go, create your skins with the numberrplate inside it.
I don't know if you saw my post after the one you quoted, but I was successful in removing the Blancplain numberplate from the car simply by selecting it in showroom and using "is visible=0" in the extension file. Here's a showroom pic now for comparison.
I haven't got back to working on this since changing model version, it needs a little work yet.
Funny thing, the skin has Michelins but Pirellis show up in showroom?
