completely understood what waz said. i thinkI don't think you got what Shi was trying to convey ...
Let me give it another shot: there is already a newer version (v1.1) which has better rounded curbs ... , which you better take as starting point to do your improvements on.
Then the curbs ARE already well rounded, so you don't need to do that.
(at least that's how I understand it)
the original curbs are round faces
the new curbs made are full physical meshes
the new ones are square edged , helps reduce the amount of faces in the mesh . to curve them will double if not triple the faces in the curb mesh . i did look at the new 1.1 update , and i did do the same it just increased the amount of faces , so didnt end going that route , the white curved line does hide the squareness but again , end up rebuilding the whole track , and that wasnt the goal
all the new curbs are physical meshes , 3d, it makes the cars react as they should across the curbs , there no sound associated with the curbs so its all the car tyre making any sound heard , an also makes a steering wheel judder as it would in real life ,
looking at some onboard real videos the first turn curb has saw tooth entry and exit with a smooth part in the middle , i also tried to emulate this real world aspect .

The Other versions are still available , it adds in the newer version , selectable from the drop down list
new walls with 2013 advertising ,new chicane ,some new buildings, abit FPS heavy in a few spots , due to the buildings i think .all credit to the original makers of the track and to Rainmaker for the conversion to Assetto Corsa .
