Hello I've probably missed it but is there a fix for the Alfa tz2 for Bazza's GT60's update? I have the GADU original mod and still get an error. TIA Pete

Great car(s), thank you, the detail in the cockpit is lovely in VR, can someone help with hiding the Helmet when driving in VR?

CM > analyse > should give option to fix driver parameters or something

Edit: just checked, driver's heads should already be hidden in VR.
Have you done a clean installation of v1.11?
Maybe you are clipping through his neck if the view is too low?

@Cote Dazur is it a particular car and/or skin that gives the issue?

SUPER GT MOD (LM Corsa GR SUPRA GT300)

As I have reached a break in the creation process, I am releasing the second work (beta version) of the Super GT MOD.
The car is the GR SUPRA GT300 (2022 version) entered by LM Corsa.
As with the BRZ, the exterior has been reproduced to the extent possible.
However, the interior is a simple model.
The vehicle behavior data is almost the same as that of the BRZ.
Skin data is not available. (AO map (.png) is stored in Skin folder for Skin creation.)
Please download the data based on the above.

Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Could you please change the file name to something with max 30 characters so that CM can record max speed and driven distance ?
I tried renaming but got stuck on the lods.ini (encrypted ?)

i saw a few days ago someone analysing a mod in cm, i wanna do it aswell but how?
Step 1: Make sure you have editor version of CM, You can get this by going to content manager > general, In there you spam the App version number a couple of times 20 should be enough? Yes press the numbers.

Step 2: Go to content & cars and there should now be an button called Analyze next to replace tires and above pack data.

is that also the analyse of seeing the triangles etc?

May i jump in and offer you another solution for your AI races : you can tweak create AI cars using Assetto car tuner

This way you keep your real driving style and pace, but you decide how fast the AI can go.
On a basic setting, i just manually edit the power.lut, adding 8 to 12% in the mid-range, and only 3-4% to high RPMs.
You can then edit a few tyre features such as overheating ratio and other stuffs, you can also edit the drivetrain to give your opponent a more efficient gear ratio, and then edit the ai.ini a bit to make them more aggresively driving.

Also, editing the setup.ini allows you to let the AI use full turbo settings or go above damage RPM, bringing some nice motor explosions offline when the AI goes too hard. I love the randomness of it.

It's a funny way to improve your driving offline, and if you're driving clean some slight battles actually happen.

Let me know if you want me to edit one or 2 cars of this to give you an example.
Hi Tetri, that would be great. Maybe you could show me how you would make the BMW (https://www.overtake.gg/threads/1998-bmw-320i-stw-btcc.182492/) a couple of seconds faster and then I can try messing around with values myself. I like the idea of the occassional AI engine blow up.

The helmet is still there, the .ini file show 3 hidden helmet 80’s lines have been used, but not working.
It is the same in 2 cars with different skins.
Will redownload tomorrow.
Your 1.11 cars do not have helmets?

  1. Cant remember if you have to enable dev mode, but if you do, click on "About", then click on the version number of CM until you get a message - Youtube Guide
  2. Then if you want to see "full info" while analyzing, go to "Settings > Content Manager > Dev > and you have to tick 'While analyzing, check some extra cars' details'" - reddit
    analyze content manager.jpg
  3. Then while viewing content, click on the analyze button on the bottom menu. Then you'll see the image that @MasterFocus shared (sometimes with more info if the car shares any parts with kunos mods)

it is possible a skin or two was missed for definitions, but all 3 cars (should) have a proper driver3d.ini with "driver" and not "driver_80" (just re-checked)
As said, be sure to delete previous version and install v1.11 fresh.

Was just about to post the same.

No idea why Ilja still has this useful option locked behind a SNES-era cheat code and an obscure tick box hidden in a submenu. Why not just make it all openly available from the start? It's not as if it's a dangerous feature in the wrong hands, especially when there are a million other ways a user can bork their experience via ill-judged but well-intentioned combinations of vague or misleading tick boxes.

With Pyyer extensions the flickering is usually z-fighting because he sometimes just plonks new meshes on top of exiting ones, so you can try hiding the underlying mesh:

Code:
;useful for hiding stuff
[MESH_ADJUSTMENT_...]
MESHES =
IS_RENDERABLE=0

For shimmering armco barriers, this can sometimes work:

Code:
[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
DESCRIPTION=possibly reduce moire banding on armco barriers, depends on texture complexity
ACTIVE = 1
MATERIALS =
MESHES =
PROP_...=ksAmbient, 0.7
PROP_...=ksDiffuse, 0.0

Get mesh or material names in Object Inspector.
It's all a bit experimental/hit & miss, but sometimes the results are worth the effort.
As I experienced a lot of aliasing problems with these steel profiles in VR mode, thanks for this tip.

Hi, ive been trying out sim dreams 1998 mod but for some reason on nearly all tracks i try with all 22 cars on, theres always 1 ai car in the pit lane stuck on full throttle

Anyone know what causes this?

Thanks
