Rolled back my csp to 0.2.5-preview1-full.

I just wanted a relaxing couple of hours taking my Kunos F40 to Oulton Park for a rainy trackday but it was raining on the inside of my instrument cluster and I was getting lots of frozen frames as well as the weird orange triangle. Not sure what I'm missing out on apart from rally and ice tracks, maybe snow but all that's of no interest to me. For me 2.5 works so that's the most important.

There is an updated version of the PM3DM car with better interior, you should use. I think it was made by FSR. The skins for the old car all work on the new version after some resizing and renaming.
Some time ago I've updated this version for me. I added all skins (40!) I could find for the car, made LODs, added a shift, brake and gas animation and added some stuff to the ext_config.ini and ui_car.json.

Update to version 1.01:
Just a little update to the lights. The lowbeam and highbeam lights are now working correctly. I also adjusted the brightness of the LED panel in the cockpit. It's now brighter in daytime and darker at night. The RPM leds now work from 5800 to 7800 and blink at 8000.
The preset static tire pressure is now 25 PSI for all tires, so only small adjustments are needed for an ideal tire pressure.

I also tried to make a BOP for the VRC Super Tourers I use. The Nissan, Volvo and BMW (updated version) are by PM3DM, the Audi A4 Quattro is the car made by Cyril Cherry (v1.3) and the Alfa Romeo 156 STW is the version made by "Modders Squadra Corse/Davin".

@Peter Boese is it the Pure update that's turned the jumbotrons black? If so, how do we fix it? Ta.
I don't believe it is a Pure issue because it happened to me when I temporarily tried the latest CSP version and was still using Pure 0.193. Seems to be a CSP issue. Some of the jumbotrons didn't work at all for me. The Pyyer ones he put into his extensions just flat out don't display a video for me anymore. Just the F1 Texture. Others, like on the original Spa are just too dark. If you zoom in real close, you can still see what's supposed to be on the screens. The dark ones can be fixed by editing the config file for any track that has a jumbotron and raising the brightness. The Pyyer ones I never took the time to try and figure out since in the end I rolled back to an older CSP version where everything worked.

Ah, thanks - good to know. Cheers.
I think I'll wait for a CSP fix rather than adjust them all then have to do it all over again when the fix materialises.

You should include the version in the UI 🤔

I think it is to do with Pure as if you use LCS the screens are fine. When you use Gamma they are very dark or black. The funny thing is as you go into the night at Le Mans they show up as they should. I did mention that to Peter.

Somebody's going to have to remind me how to swap between Gamma and LCS...
I think I tried LCS briefly when it first appeared but have been using Gamma ever since.

Thanks, NOW I remember! I was searching under 'Weather' on the Drive screen.
Things certainly look 'different' in LCS.
Grass at Brno looks weird now (too pale), but at least the jumbotrons can be seen again... but still very dark.

Edit: good Lord, look at the pitlane markings and the darkness of the pitlane and the pale green grass in LCS.
Is this what people have been seeing when using LCS?
Everything looks very different in Gamma. And by 'different', I mean 'how it was intended'. Everything was balanced and tweaked using Gamma.
In LCS too many things look wrong.

There are far too many variables in CSP and with different weather systems available.
How on earth are we supposed to create consistent content?

Just a heads up and PSA for everyone:

Maybe some of you keep up with the news better than I do... but long story short, I have an ASUS mobo and an i9-13900k and the default settings in the BIOS were unnecessarily aggressive and had essentially been setup for unlimited power (volts/watts/amps) and cooked my CPU. This has been an ongoing thing with the 13th/14th gen Intel chips, but I found out only after it was too late. I assume Assetto Corsa also played a factor in this because it's such a CPU intensive game and it's makes up about 75% of my game time. This CPU is less than two years old.

Anyone who isn't aware of this, or maybe is but doesn't think it will apply to them: Make sure to update your BIOS to the latest version and also be sure to implement the Intel recommended settings. Having 1.5v constantly coursing through your CPU while playing heavy load games like AC will destroy your CPU. Regardless of you Mobo manufacturer, if you have an i9-13000 or i9-14000 cpu, you are 100% at risk.

TLDR; My CPU just bricked itself and I had no idea there were any issues whatsoever.

LCS

I'm using C13AEGIS filter on both

Gamma as a "cool" tint to it vs LCS "warm" tint, other wise its not that different.
Also, I do not have any trouble with the giant screen (latest everthing)
