Your Fiat shifts a lot faster than mine.

Improved my laptime but not by much.

Just lowered fuel amount to 3 litres and used no driving aids.

How much of a difference? A few milliseconds? A few points of a second? A few seconds?
Haven't tested out yet, probably in the seconds but I usually just run low fuel so don't really know. Also doing your best lap on second lap is generally best as you use first lap to get tyres up to temperature. That also can make a big difference.

I try to do 3 laps, usually getting best on the second.

Round 1 is over. Just about to update OP

Edit: OP Updated
Yes, I know that round one is finished.

Improved my laptime again. :D

I'm done. No more round one for me.

You don't have to update the OP anymore.

Oops, I have always been driving with at least 20L of fuel. But the faster shifting doesn't seem to work for me. Automatic clutch isn't working. I have to shift completery manual.

All tires are allowed? Tire wear option, fuel amount - any regulations?
All tires are allowed and no limitations on tuning. Just make sure you use the exact cars in the OP. No using Step 3 F40 if it just says F40 for example

That's unfortunate... just had time to try this. ;)
Did you do any setup changes apart from fuel or use any driving aids out of interest? 1:11.518 fastest on RSR on Pro ranking with fuel consumption and tyre wear on, wonder if it is possible with mostly default setup.

All I did was take the toe down to +1 F and 0 R and turn off wear + fuel. ABS and sequential shift are the only aids I use.

I was a bit slow through Copse and Brooklands. If I worked at it I could do ~1:11.8xx. 11.5 is certainly a possible "alien" time.

Here's an ultra-wide-screen replay (I have 3 monitors).

Thanks for the info, may experiment with this to see if it makes a difference for me. Think without fuel and tyre wear is worth a few tenths, what is impressive about 1:11.5 time is it is doing with the Pro settings although using ABS. I tend to stick with Pro Settings for RSR and also run without ABS although I struggle without it. Don't have much confidence in the braking zones.

Seemed to me you lost most time through Luffield.

Struggling a lot with braking without ABS as usual, seems really hard to be consistent. Dropped about 5 tenths off my best sector times but too frustrating to do more laps so I will leave it at my current fastest time which is as follows:

That^^ Is very impressive. I am 7 seconds a lap slower than you and struggling. I hate this track as well lol.
Thanks, I improved by over 6 seconds compared to my first lap so don't lose hope. Tried other cars and they seem a lot slower probably due to what feels like having less power. I like the track, just don't like the braking characteristics of the car which doesn't seem very realistic. It sounds really realistic though, like real life:

I found this setup made a decent improvement in handling for me, only changes I made was fuel to 9 litres and put rear wing to 1 from 0, that made it much more drivable for me: Link

Didn't want to spend too long on it but may go back to it some day and try and get pole position on RSR as it seems possible with that setup. That lap I posted mainly messed up second and last corner, would have been really close to first if it weren't for running wide on them corners. Probably get beaten by an alien on here though but at least they will need to do a decent lap to win this challenge today.

Thanks I'll try that setup later on.
Edit: Ok I put in the new setup and the car is much better to drive and I've shaved off a few seconds.

I know where I am slow and where I can improve but just in case I don't get back to it I'll post this time for now.

Drove some laps before Man Utd game started, really hard to put a lap together with this car even on this short track. This one will have to do as it didn't feel too good for my steering wheel (A lot of shaking) and don't want to spend too much time on it.

I'll upload the replay tomorrow since it's quite late for me right now. But instead, I'll attach my setup. It's based on a Mugello setup that I downloaded so many days and nights ago I forgot where it came from. :ouch:

I guess I might even be able to improve, but in all honesty, I'm not really enjoying the 2-11. Are semislicks really supposed to heat up that fast?! It's insane! Sadly, the other cars don't seem to be competitive enough to be true alternatives.

0.056 faster than me which is annoying as I might have to give this another go before this challenge ends. Thanks for sharing setup, will try it out. Looking at setup, I guess you are not running with fuel consumption on which helps save maybe a couple of tenths.

Wait, so you had fuel consumption on?! My guess is you will very likely get into the 1:12s by turning it off! But I'm not sure how a) much of a difference it makes and b) high the fuel consumption of the car per lap is ... I don't think I ever ran more than 3 consecutive laps due to the tire heat "issue" I have.

Need 3 litres compared to 1 with it off. Hard to know exactly difference without trying though. Did you use any driving aids? I'm running with all of them off. I just do two laps per run, first lap to get tyres up to temperature and second one as my flying lap.

Only ABS on Factory, everything else is off. I was playing around with the tire blankets, but I came to the conclusion it's better not to use them in this case.

EDIT: Here's the replay. Thought it'd upload in 1440p60 (since YT seems to do that nowadays, and no I don't own a 1440p monitor :P), but oh well.

Thanks for the setup and tyre blanket info. I just changed the wing to 4 which is level I was using before and also fuel litres up to 2 so I don't run out of fuel. Can now do flying lap on first lap which I prefer.
