Yes, but this car doesnt have a clutch

I think I saw someone saying that if you made a donation to the mod team that built this Ariel Atom ($2 or something like that) you'd also receive a manual transmission version in addition to some other perks. That's kind of odd - I don't think this car is offered with a manual transmission in real life (this 500bhp model). I could be wrong. Either way, if you want it to be a stick-shift all you have to do is change a single zero into a one in one of the data files. Now it will work with clutch & stick-shift.

The main reason I asked about left-foot braking is how smooth your braking & cornering is with this thing. Do we call it a car? :sly: :P If you go quite heavy with the brakes and have heavy load transfer onto the fronts the rear-end gets so freakin' light a slight breeze could spin this car. I know because I was the one spinning out left and right. :D I'm not a left-foot braker and I couldn't be if I tried as this stupid little table I have my wheel mounted on, I can't fit both legs between the legs of the table so my left foot just can't get to the pedal.

I was wondering if that's what you were doing in your video...applying just enough throttle to keep the car balanced. Cheers!

I mention that the car is haywire under braking. The best way to avoid it is bringing the braking bias forward.

Bit of fun with the old 911 RSR

Beautiful skin. Is that on Race Department? I wish I could control the rear of my car as well as you. I hardly ever drive that particular hill climb point-to-point track. Its so long and I can't have fun with it the way you can. Oh well. Nice video! 👍

Mazda MX5 Cup race, in which I manage to drop it on the very last corner, enjoyable race none the less.

Such a great car to drive :)

My memory of it from the Mugello quick race event is it had a lot more grip than it looks like you had in that race - at Mugello, you can pretty much drive the wheels off it (heavy brake, turn in hard, jump on the gas)... you have very little tyre temperature... are your pressures a bit high?

Most likely - I just jumped in it and drove.

2017 F1 at the Nordschleife, it had to be done. Lap was 5:15 can be beaten

Ran out of hybrid goodness very early on when it was set to "medium"

Great driving! I also liked your Miata video on Akagi! :D (btw is that your MX5 Miata in your Avatar? Looks great!)

Another drift video on the PS4 with DS4:

A few practice runs and a couple of tandem drifts here and there - hope you like it! :)

[NOTE: contains Hip Hop! :boggled:]

Thanks ! And yes, it is my MX-5, which is basically the version we have in game but with OEM Bilsteins and a bit lighter (being a 94 it still has the 1st version of the dashboard without airbag). And I have 205 wide tyres also. Even more fun that the in-game version :D

1st lap mayhem, it's really a shame to see some people playing the game with that much disrespect to fellow drivers.
... Private lobbies ... Anyone ...

Isn't it incredible? I've been in the unfortunate situation of being in many, many public lobbies during my GT6 days. On that system I probably saw more 1st corner wrecks than clean 1st corners. I swear, it's always someone. I used to have a text file with some of the great banter that has occurred after such 1st turn or 1st lap mayhem. I remember quite a few, but these are going to be me paraphrasing, not exact quotes:

- It should be a mad dash for that first corner. It's racing!

- If you're going to get that close to me on the first turn you're damn right I'm going to push you away from me. I'd rather be the hitter than the hit car. The hitter always maintains control. Maybe you'll not get along side me next time.

- I'm bored so I've been doing this for hours. I crack up watching people get mad. Then I boot them.

- If I'm not in the Top 5 at the end of lap 1 why would I continue? I don't have a chance at winning if I'm in 6th or 16th place. Finding another room to start over is a better use of my time.

- You're stupid if you keep playing after the first lap if you're not in the Top 3 or 4.

I had a lot more saved. I thought I saved it on my Google Drive but I can't find it. As far as GTSport goes, they're going to have a driver rating system, right? That will keep the serious drivers away from the trolls. I don't know why AC didn't have one from the jump, but at least on PC we have Minorating. Too bad he can't hook that into the console versions. :grumpy:

Don't mind the awful driving lines... :D My 3rd lap with the new Mustang Boss 302. I can't believe how much I love this track! You can't really see it in the video, but there are some really crazy blind crests with quick, sharp turns. It's already become one of my favorites. 👍
