Yep Good Johnson is the fairly easy one. Benayoun is the only Israelean, but Israel is technically in Asia.

Dzeko - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ferrari_458
Ronaldo - Portugal - Ferrari_458
Torres - Spain - Fastas
Ljungberg - Sweden - Fastas
Berbatov - Bulgaria - Ferrari_458
Forssell - Finland - GTP_Plato
Gudjohnsen - Iceland - Ferrari_458

Good luck with the last one ...

I bet google is most of you lots best friend with these answers, I wonder how many are actually using there own knowledge. I am sure I could of googled most of those names like you guys by now :sly:

Well, the whole point of this thread is to test your own knowledge, hence why Famine and Liquid are so good ... Using the googles kinda defeats the point of it entirely.

 I'm using a list off Wikipedia. The idea is that you don't use Google if you're guessing as clearly stated in the OP. Where's the fun in that ?

Not Pahars.

Israel is a member of UEFA but as a country it is Asian, apparently. Huge grey area.

I only Google when I haven't a clue, and would clearly state if I had used Google to get the answer.

Incidently, as I haven't a clue with the last one, I did Google it, and still couldn't find anything, apart from one wild stab in the dark (I won't post anything in case anyone wants a guess) so good luck with that one

The only one I decided to give a go, and could it be Milan Baros - Czech Republic?

I thought that but wasn't sure as berger was another Czech and i'm sure he has scored more than one hat trick. It may only be one though

Edit

Treed

Was it for Villa Liverpool or both that Berger got a hat trick?

Anybody that says they got the answer without cheating is either God or lying, I just looked, I know the player but would not of thought of him in a million years

If it is the right answer of course :sly:

Matt Le Tissier - Jersey.
Georgi Kinkladze - Georgia.

Le Tissier was technically English and Kinkladze is in the right area but not right, he never scored a hat trick.

Dzeko - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ferrari_458
Ronaldo - Portugal - Ferrari_458
Torres - Spain - Fastas
Ljungberg - Sweden - Fastas
Berbatov - Bulgaria - Ferrari_458
Forssell - Finland - GTP_Plato
Gudjohnsen - Iceland - Ferrari_458

Le Tissier is Jerseian and a British national, not necessarily 'English'. He could have played for any of the home nations. It was logical that he would want to play for England. Of course, Jersey is a crown dependency and not a member of FIFA, but unless Graeme Le Saux bagged a hattrick too, I suppose it's a nice piece of trivium if not a bonus credit...

Dan Petrescu - Romania.
David Healy - Northern Island.
Giorgios Samaras - Greece.

Go on then I'l give you that. Other three listed never scored hat tricks, although I'd say Petrescu is in the right area.

Dzeko - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ferrari_458
Ronaldo - Portugal - Ferrari_458
Torres - Spain - Fastas
Ljungberg - Sweden - Fastas
Berbatov - Bulgaria - Ferrari_458
Forssell - Finland - GTP_Plato
Gudjohnsen - Iceland - Ferrari_458
Matt Le Tissier - Channel Islands - Liquid

Dan Petrescu - Romania

Not a chance. Florin Raduciou might have done at West Ham, but I doubt it. Ilie Dumitrescu too.

Which leaves only Chelsea's Adrian Mutu. Which I also doubt.

So it is someone you wouldn't necessarily think of, and the country is a east European one. Must be early Premier League as well.

Oh you giant belming belmer. It's Savo Milosevic of what was then Yugoslavia (and subsequently Serbia).

I bought him for my SWOS team :D

Odd thing is... he's from Bosnia-Herzegovina. He was born in Yugoslavia and played for Yugoslavia then Serbia, but his hometown is in BH now. Of course Edin Dzeko was born in Yugoslavia and played for Bosnia-Herzegovina and his hometown is in BH.

So they could both be wrong (they preclude each other) or the definition of "from" mutated to their national team, which excludes Matt Le Tissier.

Klinsmann is not the only German to score a hat trick.

Well it is the answer I was looking for. 👍 According to this list which I used, he's the only Yugoslavian to score a Premier League hat rick.

As far as I understand Milosevic scored the hat trick whilst Bosnia was Yugoslavia and Dzeko scored whilst Bosnia was Bosnia Herzegovina. Matt Le Tissier as far as I can see was from Guernsey (Not Jersey) which is its own country? but too small to field an international side so players can choose one of the home nations to play for.

Dzeko - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ferrari_458
Ronaldo - Portugal - Ferrari_458
Torres - Spain - Fastas
Ljungberg - Sweden - Fastas
Berbatov - Bulgaria - Ferrari_458
Forssell - Finland - GTP_Plato
Gudjohnsen - Iceland - Ferrari_458
Matt Le Tissier - Channel Islands - Liquid
Milosevic - Yugoslavia - Famine

So unless we want to argue the technicalities then that concludes the question and Ferrari_458 is next to ask one.
