I'd no more accept a tattoo from Mario Balotelli than I'd play pass-the-parcel in Kandahar.

I think it is a Liverpool player as they all seem to have massive tattoos. Or at least a lot of them. Narrowed it down in my mind to Skrtel and Agger.

So I will go with Martin Skrtel?

On this basis - because I have no better one - I'll go for Dan Agger.

Mario Balotelli.

No.

Made me chuckle.

Gareth Bale

Would struggle, due to lack of opposable thumbs.

Close, but wrong.

Gah! I'd looked it up but I was enjoying posting random footballers.

And one more for luck, Demba Ba.

I'm going to be less active over the summer, but for now we have an up to date leaderboard in the OP.

Hat-tricks...

Scoring a hat-trick is tough. Scoring three hat-tricks is tougher. Scoring a hat-trick for a hat-trick of clubs is tougher still. FIVE (curse you!) players have scored a Premier League hat-trick for at least three different Premier League clubs... Who?

Darren Bent - Charlton, Sunderland, Villa. Don't think he played enough games for spurs to bag a hat-trick.

Andy Cole - Newcastle, United and Blackburn

Surprisingly, he never managed a Premier Leagueship hat trick for Blackburn. Five in total, two for Newcastle, three for United.

I have a feeling Anelka has to be one - he's been around the clubs a bit

Yep.

Anelka's only scored three Premier Leagueship hat tricks, each for different clubs - Chelsea (vs. Sunderland), Manchester City (vs. Villa) and Arsenal (vs. Leicester City)

Darren Bent - Charlton, Sunderland, Villa. Don't think he played enough games for spurs to bag a hat-trick.

Darren Bent only has the one to his name - against Bolton for Sunderland.

Going to go for Yakubu and Edward Sheringham.

Yes to both - Portsmouth (vs. Boro [4] and Fulham), Everton (vs. Fulham) and Blackburn (vs. Swansea) for Yakubu, Portsmouth (vs. Bolton), Manchester United (vs. Southampton) and Spurs (vs. Leeds and Newcastle) for Sheringham.

Yakubu is the most recent player to finish his hat-trick of hat-trick clubs, but we haven't found the first player to do so yet.

Kevin Phillips - On the basis he's been round long enough to have done it

Nope. Two only, both Sunderland.

Three down (Anelka, Sheringham, Yakubu), two to go :D

On a process of elimination of good strikers, Shearer got 3 top flight hatricks, but one for the scum before the Premier League, Blobby Fowler would have got them for two clubs max. We have Teddy, Henry only for one club.
Les Ferdinand will be my next guess, Newcastle and Spuds, he must have got one for QPR at some point to trigger his move to Newcastle.

Shearer scored ELEVEN, but only for two clubs. Amazing when you think he could confuse a player's face for a ball.

Sir Les scored a triple for QPR against Nottingham Forest and then another against Evetron the next game, then for Newcastle against Wibbledon and his fourth and final Premier Leagueship hat-trick was for Spurs against Leicester.

But he's still not the first player to do it...

I'll tell you two of the three clubs, but not the first :D

Everton and Nottingham Forest.

Yep.

First man to score a hat-trick for a hat-trick of clubs. He scored four in total, but the three we're interested in were for Arsenal against Ipswich Town in September 1993, for Nottingham Forest against Coventry City in August 1996 and finally for Everton against West Ham in May 1999.

So I make that:
dhandes 3 (hat:trick LOL)
daan 1
Ferrari_458 1

dhandes is up.
