Both of those played internationally, and were never swaps in transfers except perhaps at youth level.

We could be on for a classic Famine thread breaker.

Geez, I could guess members of the WC66 squad but no idea of any other brothers. Looks like I'm out on this one.

I mentioned that they play in the same position for a reason...

Also the World Cup winner didn't get his medal until FIFA decided to retroactively award them to members of the squad, not just those who played the final...

Must be someone like... err, Alan Ball. But again, no idea about PFA winning siblings.

I don't know if the World Cup winning brother was also in a PFA team of the year.

I'm trying to be cryptic but obvious... They're players who you'd NEVER play out of position.

Well if Gordon Banks had a brother, I have no idea of his name. Then again, you said he didn't get his medal until later and I've got no idea who the back-up keeper was, let alone his brother.

Peter Bonetti and... Jimmy Bonetti?

Right position :D

The brothers forenames were Ron and Peter - Peter, the younger brother, died in 1997 while World Cup winning Ron is still with us.

It was indeed the goalkeeper brothers Springett.

Now what where the clubs involved in the swap? And, let's face it, there's a reason I'd ask...

Name the two English teams with the letter 'X' in their they're there names.

Hmm the question I seen only had two teams in the answer, and only one of them is in your answer Akmuq.

Exeter and Crewe Alexandra are right. The other I thought of was Uxbridge United. But maybe yet fell out of league football.

Your turn.

Since Sagaris hasn't posted a question yet I'll field one in the meantime.

What international side did Giuseppe Wilson get 3 appearances for?

Sorry forgot about the question. Akmuq got it correct.

Born in England I believe, but got 3 caps for Italy.

4 Teams have won the 3 top European Competitions(Champions League, Europa League and the now-defunct Cup-Winners Cup)

Name them.

Note: Winners of the old European Cup and UEFA Cup are counted.

Bayern Munich have won all three, along with the Super Cup and the Club World Cup (and its predecessor) too - so probably the only team to win all five, but I think Juventus might rival them (if they haven't since been rescinded :D)
