It's a great question though. We all know surnames, but first names slip under the radar a bit.

It is, fair play. So I've gone for Paul Warhurst, Paul Parker and Paul Gascoigne.

Think I'll add Paul Walsh to that.

Is it just "Paul" or does Paulo Wanchope count? Or Paolo Di Canio?

Paul Ince and Paul Dickov are 2 more correct. 3 for Daan and 1 for nine hundred leaving just 2 up for grabs.

Paulo and Paolo don't count I'm afraid.

By he time the EPL started Gazza was in Italy. And then Scotland. And when he came back, he was 🤬

Paul Kitson? He played for Newcastle in the pre-Les Ferdinand era and once scored a hat-trick against us (which would put him nearly one-eighth of the way there  )

Threads gone to sleep, here's a question, may be a little easy though.

Name the first club created this century to reach the football league.

Since the thread's gone to sleep again and I never did think up an answer on my go, here's one for you.

Martin Jol (Tottenham Hotspur), Toni Schumacher (Fortuna Cologne) and Mark Poulton (non-league Chichester City) all hold the same - or at least extremely similar - dubious managerial record. What is it?

Gonna take two guesses at this, one not really dubious though.

They never got relegated at that club?
Or, they never had a draw whilst managing said club?

EDIT: Okay, googled a bit and know I'm wrong. Will spoiler tag the answer as I now know, and don't know if googling is allowed on tougher questions.

EDIT Part 2: Couldn't figure out how to spoiler so I'll just type in in white.

They were all sacked midway through a game in charge of said club.

It's not that tough - and I'll give clues if there's struggling :D

Poulton's included because it was actually quite widely reported at the time (2010), but Jol beat him to it in 2007 and Schumacher beat both of them to it, in 1999... There may be others, but these three sprang immediately to mind.

Well, it's never hard if you know. But I actually didn't even know about it happening to any of those. I had heard of it happening, probably in 2010 but wouldn't have put Poulton's name to it and figured it out.

Since I know the answer I'll speed it up a bit by answering peoples guesses.

Wasn't that Liquid.

Jol was sacked halfway through a UEFA Cup game for Spurs (My inner know-everything-about-Spurs coming through), other then that, I don't know what other unfortunate records he can have, so I'll say....

All 3 managers sacked during a game?

Who was the highest scoring Irish player in the Premier League and how many goals did they score?

Answers within 5 goals will be judged to be correct.

Yep - literally at half time. Poulton holds an even odder facet to that record - he was sacked at half time while his side were winning...
