How has no-one mentioned Chelsea yet?
I had intended to include them in my first answer but was mostly concentrating on work & quickly having a look at GTP on the sly. Otherwise Forest & Spurs would definitely have been in that first attempt too.
Oh, & Man City.

Not that it matters, but I swear @S_Bridge ninja edited Spurs in after I posted :grumpy:
I did 3 successive edits straight after each other for the same reason as above - I was typing on the sly & trying to be quick but more teams kept coming to me.
I hadn't seen your answer when I added Spurs but you must have got them first.

Edit: I'll try to come up with a question today but if anyone else wants to pose one instead, that would be fine with me.

Let's see how far this type of question gets us.

That one is before my time. Most of my football knowledge is from the 90's.

Coventry, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton & Villa will be definites though.

I'd think Leeds & Man U too.

All correct. I'll give you a hint by saying that only one of these teams has never been in the Premier League.

Let's try Chelsea, Tottenham, Fullham, Man City, Newcastle, West Ham & Bradford.

How were they as guesses, @Liquid?

Incidentally, I've recently heard a decent question that I could pose in here at the next opportunity.

Sorry, I was leaving it for other people to make guesses but I forgot!

Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle and West Ham were all there but amazingly, Tottenham were not; they did bounce straight back up but they were relegated the season before.

21st Newcastle United -36 22pts

Take a few more guesses. All the remaining teams have been, or are in, in the Premier League except one, who are currently a Championship team.

All correct.

Birmingham City & Sunderland.

Birmingham, yes.
Sunderland, no.

Swansea or Cardiff??

Neither, I'm afraid.

That'll be Bristol City.

Norwich
Wolves
QPR

Can't think of who the other would be.

That'll be Bristol City.

All correct leaving just one team left. Top 70s team, been around in the Premier League as well.

I'm changing the subject quickly, in relation to this question I asked last year.
Who is the only player to play in 2 successful premier league campaigns in consecutive seasons for different clubs?
Kante will almost certainly be added to the list but also when I was reading back through I realised Famine said at the time.
Soon there'll be two - Petr Cech!
Which obviously didn't turn out to be true but one of Chelsea's other goalkeepers for 2014-15 was Mark Schwarzer who was at Leicester last season.

The highest attendance for a UEFA club competition game (i.e. European football) is 136,505.

What was the game?

I know it's been a long while but nobody wanted to answer this?

If not that, you may also try and tackle this one:

Football in Germany has gone through many changes due to the country's tumultuous 20th century history.

Using current borders, which non-German team has won the German football championship and which non-German teams have been runners-up in the German football championship?

Excellent abduction.

Rapid Wien are indeed the only non-German team to win the German football championship. They did so as part of the Greater German Reich where annexed territories, such as Austria, meant that teams in those areas now played in/for Germany.

They won the championship in 1941 when there was no national championship and the German championship was played under a system where the regional champions went through to a second-round group championship followed by semi-final knockouts. A true "Champions League", if you will. They defeated Schalke 4-3 in the final.

27.226

Three other non-German teams were runners-up if you have any idea. Legia Warszawa is not one of them.

I'm just throwing cities out there - Sparta (?) Praha, ___ Krakow?

Prag is the correct city and DFC Prag is the (defunct) team. In the first years of the German football championship way back in 1903 there was a team from neighbouring Czechia, which was Austrian and not German territory at the time, playing in the inaugral season.

Founded in 1890, Deutscher Fußball Club Prag was a team made up of ethnic Germans in Prague who played with teams over the border in Germany rather than in their own locality against Czechs and Slovaks. They were runners-up of the inaugural German championship, losing out 2-7 to VfB Leipzig.

The next year, 1904, FIFA was founded and thus prohibited DFC Prag from playing in the German league and they spent the next few decades playing Austria, Czech and Slovak teams as the borders dictated. They returned to the German championship under the Greater Reich after the German invasion of Czechia in the Gauliga Sudetenland but failed to reform after the war.

Two other teams still to go. They're both Austrian.

Winners
Rapid Wien - 1940/1941

Runners-Up
DFC Prag - 1902/1903
??? - 1938/39
??? - 1941/1942

Winners
Rapid Wien - 1940/1941

Runners-Up
DFC Prag - 1902/1903
??? - 1938/39
??? - 1941/1942

For what it's worth, the other two non-German runners up of the German football championship are FC Admira Wien 1938/39 and First Vienna FC in 1941/42.

Rapid Wien remain the only non-German team to win the German football championship.

Many players have played full FIFA-credited internationals at senior level for more than one country;
Thiago Motta (Brasil & Italy), Alfredo di Stefano (Argentina & Spain) and Ferenc Puskas (Hungary & Spain) being examples.

As far as I am aware, only one player has played full FIFA-credited internationals at senior level with three countries.

Who is he?

This excludes players whose FIFA-nationalities changed due to their country becoming defunct such as Oleksiy Mykhaylychenko, who played for the USSR, the interim CIS team and then Ukraine.
