Also... to get around the free app problem... why not just make the free app a demo and have an IAP that unlocks the full game?
From what I've read, the best method for mobile games is the way it is right now: the game is completely free and includes microtransactions. The mobile market is way different compared to how it is on consoles like Xbox and PlayStation. I trust @jujunosuke in that he knows what's best for his game.

... and continuing the trend is only going to degenerate the game into grinding hell. Credit is where credit's due, it's not as bad as some other games (i.e. wait timers and other stupid crap like that)... but still...

Remember Asphalt 8 and how that game went later on? NFS No Limits? Do you see what I'm getting at? (we should probably take this to PM to avoid clogging up the thread)

If you have the money, you can get the car packs without wasting Cr. I got everything except for the Sagaris, Speed 12 and the others.

Still, a good game does NOT require you to get these car packs to buy the cars in it within any reasonable amount of time...

Then maybe games with an F2P model just aren't for you. Developers worth their salt have probably poured in hundreds, if not thousands of hours into making good games. They need to make money somehow if they're going to release the base game for free...

To me that sounds deceiving; I fell into trap like that with Horizon Chase (a good game in it's own right, IMO). Also, freemium is the way to go nowadays.

I bet you won't enjoy RaceRoom Racing Experience.

Ad revenue with an IAP to disable them?

Thanks @jujunosuke for the great game!

Question: does Assoluto Racing have cloud savegame storage? If I delete it from my device (iPhone 5s), will I be able to recover my progress data in future? I'd reinstall the game later but I need some space now.

Yes absolutely, if you register and create a username you can save to the cloud.
Then later when you login, you can load your previous data.

Personally find this probably the most generous free mobile game available. Also cars overall I find quite easy to drive to the limit which I like. Keep up the good work @jujunosuke 👍.
That is exactly what i thought

For us the most important right now is to focus on game mechanics and make the game better from every aspect.
The main focus is to add more social features to the game.

But i can't really say much more

So... Porsche? Since the EA contract ended, it should be possible to add a few cars.

If they are added... Will they cost about a million credits each?

Also slight bump...

Two additional points that I want to touch upon:

Why the hell aren't we able to test drive every car in the game? Doesn't that kinda kill the point of us having the feature anyway?

Also why aren't we allowed to watch as many ads as we want to get rewards?!

Awesome addition of Subaru! The BRZ is my most favorite car, and it sounds godly with that rumble in low revs.

And another car request: MG?

Hi guys, thank you all for your support you guys are amazing!

Why not? We as car enthusiast would love to.
The only barrier to this would obviously be money.

For the test drive we are one of these few games in the market doing it, we was the first before other games do it as well :)
Sorry you can't test drive all the cars :embarrassed:

For the advertising, i think there is a limitation on how many ads you can watch in a day, it depend on the country and on the advertising company.
Once the stock of ads drain, you need to wait before watching more ads :indiff:

What car is the MG?

Well, after revisiting the game in... forever... I've finally changed my mind about the game... it's actually a damn good game! Sure, it does take quite a while to get used to the cars (I'm still trying to get used to driving with 0% steering assist... once you've lost control, that's it, it's nearly impossible to recover from at speeds over 100mph), but it's a hell of a lot of fun to drive. My maxed out MX5 is a really fun car to throw around (although it is murderous if you go anywhere near a kerb or get on the brakes hard), and overall it's a great driving engine/physics model. I do like the majority of the tracks (the hairpin at Forest Path is hell in a light car as you get instant brake lockup, even with ABS on); they're great fun to drive.

EDIT: Running with ~90% steering assist seems like the way to go. You get good turn in and the assist does the rest. Turning it to zero basically makes the car drive on ice.

However, I would suggest these things:

  • An ability to save setups for each track (so my MX5 setup with X parts on it with Y setup at Z track could be loaded at any time)
  • An ability to share setups on a community network and rate setups as well as an ability to charge some money (3-4k credits maximum + all unowned upgrade costs) for a setup
  • More effective ABS for lighter cars
  • Variable severity of ABS and traction control
  • A "reset to default" button on car setup as well as an "undo" button for setup
  • The ability to test drive every car in the game (mentioned before, but still needs to be done)
  • Seasonal events like GT6 with prizes for beating target times?
  • An ability to set "rivals" so you can compare times between tracks and cars/setups
  • Possibly a credit quadrupler for about 8 dollars or so (having the X2 and the X4 would mean getting X8 prize money?)?
  • Race mods! Please!
  • The ability to purchase cars with both types of currency (not just coins for some cars)
  • The ability to convert coins into credits and vice versa (if this is not possible already)
  • Upgrades bought for a car should factor into its sale price (more upgrades = higher sale price)
  • Hitting a kerb = death (at least for light cars, maybe adjustable dampers could fix this?)
Overall, again, this is a great game. Keep up the good work!

EDIT EDIT: I also just got the Sagaris. Great, crazy car... but on Blue City I'm having issues with the car randomly stopping accelerating and tapping the brake, and then randomly turning into an automatic gearbox for a second or two before handing control back to me. This has happened on at least one occasion.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: The car is also now just randomly downshifting and has even put the car into reverse at some points! Restarting the game has NOT fixed these issues. This is for both the unmodified and modified car.

EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT: It appears that when I plug my iPad into any outlet or USB port when the glitches happen. If it's not plugged in (as of thus far), then it's okay.

You have an R35 GTR?

Can I just say I hate you for owning a 100k+ credit car... :P

(AND a coin-only car? How did you get the coins to buy it?!)

I do have to say that an 800+ Sagaris is rather scary... all of my fast laps have been in ONLY fourth gear...

(also the sagaris looks very nice in light blue)

How much power/little weight can you get in the R35?

You can add 600+ HP to it to go well over 1000 HP, and you can shed off 300 kg with reduction to get 1400 kg. Pretty pricey though. It'll probably cost 200k credits for the parts, and I'm only at 70k.

With that in mind, I wonder how much you could get out of the Speed 12... or the Lotus 3-11...

@Mike458 Thanks Mike for all the suggestions, they are very nice.
@GTvsForza Nice screenshots :D
