So... rear of an F-Type; nose of an RX8 with the iconic Aston grille; headlights that look like a cross between the RX8 and Maserati Granturismo.

I love it!

and convertible render is already made

Ah yes I forgot the DBS used in the 2 of the last 3 bond films was as subtle as being hit in the face with a brick and the DB5 could easily be lost in a tesco car park.
When Bond got the DB9, he was at a high-end casino. He needed a car that fit in with a high-end casino. And QOS started about twenty minutes after CR ended, so it stands to reason that he would keep the same or similar car.

As for the DB5, he drove it because he wanted to be found. He needed something distinct so that Silva would follow him into a trap.

Remember, this Bond has driven Fords and Volvos to go fully incognito, and a Jaguar when he needed a government car. The cars are clearly being chosen to fit the needs of the scenes they appear, rather than just shoehorning the latest model of sportscar in.

It just doesn't look like a proper Aston to me. It either needs to be prettier or much more aggressive. I think they're trying to capitalise on the beauty of the F-Type R, we'll see for sure when we get a rear 3/4 view.

Still, it's quite generic. I wish Aston Martin would hire a designer with the talent and guts to do something totally unique but still very Aston. Current Astons are pretty but are a bit too similar to look at. A more interesting, distinctive, and versatile design language would suit them better in the long run.

I've been hearing unconfirmed reports that the Jaguar C-X75 will feature in the film as a villain's car.

Well they have to find a use for it after it's unceremonious dumping.

Aren't we getting all a bit 'Die Another Day' silly again Eon?

They learned their lesson from that.
The C-X75 is likely to just be a bit of window-dressing. The producers apparently wanted him to have an exotic, unusual car, and so settled on the C-X75.

The C-X75 arrives on location:

I have seen several photos from the shoot, but have been unable to spot the DB10 - but there is an Audi R8:

In fact, there's a whole range of exotic cars on-set:

Most of the pictures are pretty murky, but I am pretty sure that I have seen a Ferrari, possibly a 599, a Porsche 911 and a Honda NSX.

Naturally, no details of the scene have been made public, but it appears to be a take on the traditional Bond-meets-the-villain-in-public scene - like Bond and Xenia at the Monaco casino in GoldenEye or Bond and Kristatos at the Olympic Park in For Your Eyes Only.

The headlights are too small, the grille is horrid, it can be easily mistaken for an F-Type Jaguar and it doesn't look anywhere near as nice as the current styling for the current range. If this is the future for Aston Martin's image I want no part of it.

(And these are the words of one massive Aston Martin fan!?

Yeah it really doesn't look like an Aston, just some kit car which is trying to look like something.

The Jag's in Orange/Copper look pretty cool. Amazing how real a shell car can look.

I'll just leave this here

Promotional still from Land Rover, celebrating their involvement in the film:

The company is supplying several models to be used throughout the film, including the Defender and the Big Foot.

It's expected that the C-X75 will feature in the Rome scenes; further photos from the shoot at Blenheim Palace have revealed that the cars all have Roman-registered number plates.

The DB10 is believed to feature in a chase sequence in the Austrian Alps. Behind-the-scenes footage released today revealed that the Land Rovers will feature here.

If you would like to see the DB10 in action, there is a YouTube video that has recently been uploaded entitled "SPECTRE James Bond 007 on location Blenheim Palace" which shows it being filmed. However, I haven't seen it myself, so I cannot confirm it, because I want to avoid spoilers.

It's like as if you stumbled into some top-secret research facility or something
No, each of the cars will be built for something specific in the scene. Some will be used for exterior shots, while others might have a roll cage added for action scenes, and others still may have bodywork and a door removed to carry a camera rig for interior shots. Literally every DB10 that will ever be made will be present for these scenes, with each tailored for a specific purpose.

Any news about a production version?
