Ok, I'm normally pretty easy going... but there was some seriously uncool c-r-a-p on display tonight 👎
I know this thread has become very big, and it might not be that easy, if you are new to SAR/MNR, to throw an eye over everything and see where this series is at, but there are a few drivers that need to get clued in as to what we expect from people taking part in SAR and MNR... a quickly!
I myself was punted-off twice tonight, and hit hard on several other occasions, and on each occasion by somebody new to the Series! There were also other reports of unnecessarily rough driving, and even reports of racers weaving like idiots down the straights, trying to break a tow, and not giving anyone behind any clue as to what line they might be taking into the corner. It's not on!
- You do not pass if you cannot do so without contact!
- If you are about to hit someone, you do everything (within reason) to minimise the damage!
- If you hit someone, or punt someone off, you pull over and wait for them to re-join!
THESE ARE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF SAR & MNR... NO 'IFs', 'BUTs', or 'MAYBEs'!!!
This week's MNR needs to be a one-off, because next week I will be naming and shaming... and if that doesn't work, I will be asking people if they wouldn't mind sitting things out!
We've all put some considerable effort into making SAR/MNR an excellent series, full of fantastically fast racing and outstanding on-track etiquette... so guys, either check-out how we do things, and get with the program... or if you feel that's too much to ask, please look for another series or GTP event to run in... it's that simple!

New faces around the thread and on-track are great, but if people want to jump in, I think it only common courtesy that they check out how our little series works!
I'm not suggesting that we are perfect... and it's taken a little time for the regulars to get to the type of (largely) contact-free racing that we've been enjoying. Indeed, we all still make the occasional gaff and hit someone... but there's always an attempt to make redress (i.e. undo any advantage gained by contact), and there's always an apology! Tonight, however, there was a shocking lack of respect shown on-track by some, and it's just not on
