Sorry guys, should've let you know I wasn't going to make this week. I'll try for this weekend. But to be completely honest... I'm only half interested due to GT6 being around the corner.. can't bother loadings up GT5 anymore :P.

I here you there I would be in the same boat if I wasn't addicted to racing on weekends like the irl guys. The important part is this final tread is up and running and the guys know we are here. We're going to try to be the 1st series to launch a series (Autobacs S2), and a spot race (The Daytona Project) on the new GT6 platform coming up in Jan. the only thing that will delay our Jan dates is if our band of brothers need more time to unlock the GT6 game more. I know ill have my B spec running 24hrs to speed up the process. I'm hoping that all the cars will need to race can all be purchased via new car dealership. That would make our lives much easier! 👍

I put a down payment on my pre-order for GT6 a few days ago. Can't wait :)
I just found out about the PS3 GT6 bundle yesterday.

Good call there is a chance we will have to run some of the anniversary cars for the GT3 Blancpain grid next year! Definitely the SLS AMG if we only get that none livery chassis.

We should just run them all, Corvette RM, Ford GT, all anniversary cars. More teams / different looking cars, the better race experience!

Hmmmm, yea SSR5 is way better in rev like a lot of these other tracks! I just wish I had 2 weeks to setup for this race since it took a shoe night just get learn the line. I'm enjoying the partial throttle control it takes to get around here and I wouldn't be surprised to find a bunch of different times out of drivers across the grid. I guess I see what you guys are saying about the pit entry, but I'm sure I won't be hitting hit. I definitely feel like the Deep Forest pit entrance was harder to get to then this 1. But we will be coming up with a massive penalty to apply to driver whom knocks another driver into the pits during the race!

You mean I can't nudge someone into pitting early :sly:

Will come on tonight hopefully and do my first laps

Hopefully you have ran this direction before. It took me a handful of laps before I had a solid consistent line in play. There's tons of lines here as well as tons of throttle control to produce a lap. I must say tho the scenery looks more appealing in this direction.

Wilfred I'm running 17's at the moment too. I think me at my best is 16's, but I'm sure I'm not going to see any 15's even tho they are possible to run. I'm usually a second off the fast guys so Seth predictions were right IMO!

He said those with little to no ballast should easily be in the 16's if you know the track and run the right line. But the fastest guy should be in the mid-high 1:15s as their best. He told me not to give his times away.

How many laps will we be doing this time?

52 laps which equals 200km. Good chance this will be a 250km race next season if we go thru this 200km race too quickly!

Practice room open now searching for the 16's on softs

Damn I haven't even practiced yet.
Edit: Im driving myself into a corner with setup here, my car now has -0.90 rear toe...

Can't make up my mind on qualifying on meds or softs for this round?! Anyways team mate I'm about to power up and finish this setup, going to your room with mics on! 👍

On my way now SkengD!

SkengD <-- 1:15.901 | RS

Cam <----- 1:15.979 | RS

Driver to Driver pit penalty

If a driver intentionally knocks another driver into the pits during green flag racing that offending driver will get last place points behind entire field plus disconnected drivers, and will start from the back of the pack for the next round as well. This penalty will be updated to the OLR rules and will apply at all tracks from here on out. Willfred's pick Rome circuit is up next and this can easily be done there too!
