I've been listening to this Bright Eyes song a lot lately, titled "Going for the Gold" from the EP "Don't Be Frightened of Turning the Page". There's some beautiful, sad lyrics which can almost bring a tear to my eye in this song. I particularly love the last verse: "I know a girl who cries when she practices violin. 'Cause each note sounds so pure, it just cuts into her, and then the melody comes pouring out her eyes".

I can't post the lyrics to the song here due to the....colorful words in the song, but I reckon "Cold Wind Blows" by Eminem is pretty awesome.

You might not think it matters now, but what if you are wrong. You might not think there's any wisdom in a ****ed up punk rock song.

And i want to conquer the world, give all the idiots a brand new religion, put an end to poverty uncleanliness and toil, promote equality in all of my decisions, in the blinking of an eye, my god you must be joking!

Here's something few from this site will know most likely. It's from Mayday Parade's song "Everything's an Illusion".

The song is about one of the band member's (the drummer I believe) good friends passing away. Now, I haven't had that, but I certainly have lost friends, so I can somewhat relate to the song.

Now, I don't know about you, but I don't think the primary purpose of your life, of my life and the entirety of the human race's is just to blindly consume to support a failing economy and a faulty system, forever and ever until we run out of every resource and have to resort to blowing each other up to ensure our own survival. Never got into Lou Reed. At least not the new stuff with Metallica. Hopefully Metallica's new Black album will be better than the original Black album. You can't improve perfection however.

You can improve an otherwise generic rock album which the Black Album is. Metallica isn't going to release anything good anymore.

You can't be sure about that. They could still surprise us if they wanted to. More than liekly it will suck though.
