Awesome Lyric LinesMusic

I was listening to that song with a friend of mine on the bus back to my school from trade school. We had it blasting and belted out the whole thing. We got some weird looks lol.

Queensrÿche has some very good lyrics on Operation Mindcrime. Here is some of the verses.

Revolution Calling

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now I've seen the payoffs
Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

They're all in Penthouse now
Or Playboy magazine, million dollar stories to tell
I guess Warhol wasn't wrong
Fame fifteen minutes long
Everyone's using everybody, making the sale

I used to think
That only America's way, way was right
But now the holy dollar rules everybody's lives
Gotta make a million doesn't matter who dies

--- ---

Speak

The system we learn says we're equal under law
But the streets are reality, the weak and poor will fall
Let's tip the power balance and tear down their crown
Educate the masses, We'll burn the White House down

--- ---

Spreading the Disease

Religion and sex are powerplays
Manipulate the people for the money they pay
Selling skin, selling God
The numbers look the same on their credit cards
Politicians say no to drugs
While we pay for wars in South America

Fighting fire with empty words
While the banks get fat
And the poor stay poor
And the rich get rich
And the cops get paid
To look away
As the one percent rules America

They're all good pieces, as usual Queensrÿche focusing on government and issues that can be related to it.

On An Island - David Gilmour
Remember that night, white stairs in the moonlight
They walked here too, through empty playground, this ghosts town
Children again on rusty swings getting higher
Sharing a dream on an island it felt right

We lay side by side between the moon and the tide
Mapping the stars for awhile

Let the night surround you
We're halfway to the stars
Ebb and flow, let it go
Feel the warmth beside you

Remember that night, the warmth and the laughter
Candles burn though the church was deserted
At dawn we went down through empty streets to the harbor
Dreamers may leave but they're here everafter

Let the night surround you
We're halfway to the stars
Ebb and Flow, let it go
Feel the warmth beside you

"One foot on the gas hay!!!
No there's to much traffic I can't pass no!!
So I try my best, a little move
before black and white comin across my groove
forget your gunna rock me offa 25
post my face dead or alive
take my license and all that jive
but I can't drive fifty-fiiiiiivvvveee
Sammy Hagar- I can't Drive 55
As an added measure you can't forget Run to the Hills(Iron Maiden),Turbo Lover(Judas Priest), Kickstart my Heart and Wild Side(Motley Crüe), and to come things down you have Piano Man by Billy Joel.

Song is called Senioritis and is about being a High School Senior. It's talking about how it was great and went by fast, and things will change in real life.

I think this song, especially this verse, can be applied to everyday life:

All good things come to an end
We shouldn't have to pretend
Everything we know could change
Will you remember my name?
I hope you do, honestly, I'll keep you in memory
Make the choice to use your voice
But don't get lost in the noise

Never heard this song until today, just flipping through the channels on the radio and found it. Pretty cool song, and it makes me want to get a Cobra.

THE RIP CHORDS
"Hey, Little Cobra"

Hey, Little Cobra
Don't you know
You're gonna shut'em down

I took my Cobra down to the track
Hitched to the back of my Cadillac
Everyone was there just a waiting for me
There were plenty of Stingrays and XKEs

Spring little Cobra
Getting ready to strike
Spring little Cobra
With all of your might
Spring little Cobra
Getting ready to strike
Spring little Cobra
With all of your might
Hey, little Cobra
Don't you know
You're gonna shut'em down

When the flag went down
You could hear rubber burn
The Stingray had me going into the turn
I hung a big shift and I got into high
And then I flew by the Stingray
I waved bye-bye

Spring little Cobra
Getting ready to strike
Spring little Cobra
With all of your might
Spring little Cobra
Getting ready to strike
Spring little Cobra
With all of your might
Hey, little Cobra
Don't you know
You're gonna shut'em down

Around the far turn
In the straight-away
I was blowing off everything
That got in my way
The Stingrays and Jags
Were so far behind
I took my Cobra out of gear
And I coast to the line

Spring little Cobra
Getting ready to strike
Spring little Cobra
With all of your might
Spring little Cobra
Getting ready to strike
Spring little Cobra
With all of your might
Hey, little Cobra
Don't you know
You're gonna shut'em down
Shut'em down
Shut'em down
Shut'em down
Shut'em down

Judging by the lyrics it looks like they sound a lot like the Beach Boys.

I love that song and Santeria and Wrong Way. Wrong Way is my Favorite.

I love that song and Santeria and Wrong Way. Wrong Way is my Favorite.

Yea, I like those three but I can't seem to take a liking to any of their other songs.

Anyway, I have another I just thought of.

Five Finger Death Punch - Under it Over it

C'est la vie.... adiós.... good riddance.... **** you!

I lol at this every time I hear it.

Sir Michael Rocks - Chill

You didn't see how she gave him the slip.
Thought he had her in the bag but he lost his grip
He took his hand up on her hip and she took it and put it back
Yeah he got the IPhone but his screen is cracked
Who gave you that, your fade is jacked
And your hairline looks like a rainbow

Never got into Lou Reed. At least not the new stuff with Metallica. Hopefully Metallica's new Black album will be better than the original Black album. You can't improve perfection however.

May I suggest "Magic and Loss" incredible lyrics, honest rock and roll
Warning: Infinitely sad record...

Tool

- Aenima - "Fret for your hairpiece, and Fret for your lawsuit, and Fret for your prozac. This bull**** three ring circus sideshow of freaks here in this ******** hopeless hole we call L.A., the only way to fix it is to flush it all away. Time to bring it down again. Don't just call me pessimist. Try and read between the lines. I can't imagine why you wouldn't Welcome any change, my friend."

Just a lot of different lines from that song, never heard such a song about complaining.

- Right in Two - "don't these talking monkeys know that eden has enough to go around, give them thumbs the forge a club and beat a brother down"

Cardiacs - I'm Eating in Bed 'Firstly there's a spanner in here and secondly it has the right of way'

Björk - Human Behaviour 'If you ever get close to a human, a human being, you better be ready to get confused'

The Police - Synchronicity II 'Another suburban family morning, Grandmother screaming at the wall, we have to shout above the din of our rice krispies, we can't hear anything at all'

Metallica - Nothing Else Matters

This is not a crazy metal song.

So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
and nothing else matters

Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I don't just say
and nothing else matters

Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
and nothing else matters

never cared for what they do
never cared for what they know
but I know

So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
and nothing else matters

never cared for what they do
never cared for what they know
but I know

Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I don't just say

Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us, something new
Open mind for a different view
and nothing else matters

never cared for what they say
never cared for games they play
never cared for what they do
never cared for what they know
and I know

So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
No, nothing else matters

I think it's within the AUP so I guess here goes:

Ed Sheeran - You need me, I don't need you

Up and coming like I'm 🤬 in an elevator.

Quite clever if you think about it.

The entire song is epic, but that's the best verse.

JME ft. Skepta & Jammer I don't like - Skepta told me don't watch nuttin' so I went home and smashed my tv.

You will only understand that line if you understand slang.

Arctic Monkeys, Crying Lightning: The next time that I caught my own reflection It was on it's way to meet you thinkin' of excuses to postpone

Nine Inch Nails, Capital G: I pushed the button and elected him to office and a
He pushed the button and he dropped the bomb
You pushed the button and could watch it on the television
Those mother:censored: didn't last too long.

Puscifer, Humbling River: Nature, nurture heaven and home
Sum of all, and by them, driven
To conquer every mountain shown
But I've never crossed the river

Braved the forests, braved the stone
Braved the icy winds and fire
Braved and beat them on my own
Yet I'm helpless by the river

Angel, angel, what have I done?
I've faced the quakes, the wind, the fire
I've conquered country, crown, and throne
Why can't I cross this river?

Pay no mind to the battles you've won
It'll take a lot more than rage and muscle
Open your heart and hands, my son
Or you'll never make it over the river

It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river

Queensrÿche's Screaming in Digital is really complex lyrically and musically. If you read the lyrics you'll get lost because they are all wrong, what I have created is what I believe to be the most accurate version of the songs lyrics on the internet. Though I'm not entirely sure on the "I'm human" before "Can't you tell."

I'm going to take a stab in the dark :P and assume this song is about the same thing as the rest of this album (as it is a semi concept album, and it does have a theme), where technology becomes independent on itself, it can speak and carry on, and decides they need human's soul.

If you can really decipher what this song is about, then hats off to you. It's definitely related to technology, and (most of) the rest of the album's lyrical concept. All I know is that it is an amazing lyrical piece.

Queensrÿche - Screaming in Digital

I am the beat of your pulse
The computer word made flesh
We are one you and I
We are versions of the same
When you can see what I feel
Don't turn your back on me
Or you might find that your dreams
Are only program cards

Your mind is open for me
Open for intake of all propaganda
Your Eyes now see what to see
My eyes see only the programs you give me

I'll teach you to laugh and to cry
They're really the same you'll see
All of the whys in your life
Are under my control
Feed me more lines
I will try to tell you all I can
Before the light you must know what lies
Behind my screams

I can't tell you all I know
Am I the son that you've always been wanting
There's more to me than what shows
Are you my father The one that was promised

Hush now (I'm not your slave) I'll give all you need to know
(Please don't keep me from dreaming)
And pre-live your dreams for you - You're a good boy
(I'm not your slave you can't keep me from learning - I'm human)
Can't you tell?

Freedom (I'm not your slave someone listen to me) belongs to only those without
(You can't keep me from dreaming) video screens
(I'm not your slave you can't keep me from learning - I'm human) For eyes and mouth
(You have no voice To be heard my son)
No one can hear when you're Screaming in Digital

Love Queensryche. Silent Lucidity, Eyes of a Stranger and Queen of the Ryche are my favorites.

My lines.

Scorpions - Believe in Love
From Savage Amusement, 1988

If you don't catch me now
I can't stop falling down
Just one more night
and the devil's
Got my soul
I need your love babe
Don't leave me
This way
Ooo I'll miss you
I'll miss you

Baby our loves got what it takes
To give us one more chance
To start
Once again
Baby our love will find a way
As long as we believe in love

Love that song.

Rammstein - Amerika
We're all living in Amerika
Coca-Cola, sometimes war
We're all living in Amerika

You have to understand the meaning behind the song to understand why the lyrics are effective.

It's the first time that I'm worried
Of a bad dream, of a journey
On the highway, through the valley
It's a long road through the night
It's a long road

From the song Kaleidoscope by blink-182 off of the album Neighborhoods.

To me these lyrics are awesome not only because they sound cool, but they mean something to me. I'm very stressed out over a few things. They haunt me all the time even in my sleep. I feel like it will be a long time to get through it and like I'm sort of trapped in a valley and I will never get out.

Judas Priest
Turbo Lover:

We hold each other closer as we shift to overdrive
And everything goes rushing by, with every nerve alive
We move so fast it seems as though we've taken to the sky
Love machines in harmony, we hear the engines cry
I'm your Turbo lover
Tell me there's no other

Skid Row
Youth Gone Wild:

They call us problem child
We spend our lives on trial
We walk an endless mile
We are the youth gone wild
We stand and we won't fall
We're the one and one for all
The writing's on the wall
We are the youth gone wild

Idolm@ster OST - Kyun! Vampire Girl

Are you heading out somewhere
My lady?
My throat is dry dry, I'm almost at my limit,
And I'm about to lose my mind. Ooh-!

I'd like the man
Who's the second coolest.
No, wait, if they're human, anyone's fine,
I won't ask for luxuries.
Spotted!
There's a delicious-looking guy. Joo loo loon.

I'll give you something good in the dark.
I give you a suggestive wink.
As you are feeling bashful, cover your eyes.
We'll dance in a flash!
I'll do it in a blink! Kiss you and suck, haaaan~

Sha la lee sha la lee, My lady,
I draw you in with my feeble aura.
Take one look, and I've got you pinned down.
Pure, pale white skin. Red lips.
I'm a Vampire Girl. Ooh!

Sha nah lee sha nah lee, My lady,
She's a lolita who's lived for 100 years.
I pretend not to see the person I once loved.
Eyes of rubies, wet eyelashes.
That's the kind of Vampire Girl I am. Ooh!

All the words just work so well at giving me goosebumps, even though I barely understand Japanese. I decided that just the English translation would be good enough for here, also because part of the lyrics would be censored if I posted the romajinized lyrics.
