It takes a bit for the widget to sync!

The widget only duplicates the web site you need to Logout the web site and login again to update the Web site servers details.

When I was done racing online last night I put my PS3 in server mode, started up my laptop and the Grinder. It showed that I was racing at 6/8 laps. I only run Cape Ring so that was strange. I hovered over the blue helmet and it showed as one of my newer friends. Some of the other drivers racing were not all on my friends list. It was like I was running the grinder as my friend. What happened? Doesn't this seem like a vulnerability? My laptop has minimal security because it's very old and slow and my PS3 is in my router's DMZ if that matters.

I tried restarting the grinder a few times but rebooting the laptop seemed to fix things.

Has anyone ever experienced this before?

I haven't had this problem yet.
Try this:
When you start up B-Spec Grinder and it logs in, right click on the box that shows the race progress and click on widget preferences, then look through the different sections anf fix what needs to be fixed.

You tried to use a local server instead of using super fast and stable US server.
Windows crashed the widget connection. Reboot PC, Close and Restart widget, Close and restart Yahoo OS,

Widget only mirrors the web site and web site is not region locked.

Don't worry when it crashes and fails to connect in a few weeks, youll know how to fix it now won't you.

If anyone could tell me if it is really under maintenance or not i would greatly appreciate it... The widget is saying it is... It kept messing up about a week ago saying "temporary sever issue" now it says "server maintenance"

Yes it is really under maintenance. Just use another server.

Did they update it so it won't any more, or have I been imagining things?

Lately yes... It wasn't working for multiple days around the time of my previous post... Then randomly started a few days ago... But it seems to have a issue running them over and over once in a while... Besides that no... I think it was its time of the month

It never used to update. I think you have been imagining things.

I was also thinking it updated and stopped because I would always check the UCD after running the widget. I know for a fact it did when you ran the races manually.

TBH, I have been thinking the UCD has been acting strange (harder to cycle) lately but it could just be me.

this widget doesn't work properly. it instantly starts races and ends them instantly without entering any b-spec drivers,as well...plz tell me why it's doing this. thanks guys!
