If you want credits, stick BOB in the dreamcar championship with an X1, he'll breeze the 1st 4 races allowing you to skip the 5th. Earns a tadge under £1m in under an hour (can't remember the exact amounts & timing). I'll carry on remote racing for people, but might only do a couple hours a day from now on.
Yes, works fine on my MBP. 👍 Install the Yahoo Widgets app first, then double click the downloaded widget, it will be placed in Yahoo Widgets automatically.Anyone on a Mac get the Yahoo widgets to work? All I get is unicode text and there's nothing to download.

Try control/right-clicking the link and save it, or use a different browser to download it.I don't think Yahoo Widgets works at all on my MacBook. I just keep going to a page that freezes my system instead of prompting a download.

Everyone else: looking at the event selection problem now.
Found it; silly copy/paste thing that I didn't change.Everyone else: looking at the event selection problem now.

A good question. I don't think Polyphony has tried to break this thing yet. I think the Widget may be putting a strain on Polyphony's servers as more people use it. More requests are timing out or failing now, and the first version of the Widget had very few facilities to deal with those problems. It just doesn't seem to be coincidence that your earliest widget that you distributed privately, other than *very* minor errors, worked pretty much flawlessly.
I've even fallen back once or twice to the original widget you gave me, and it doesn't work near as well as it did when I first got it.
Do you see any indication that PD may be changing things on their end to make automation harder?
Of course, my friends list is much larger now than it used to be... Would the size of my friends list, and consequently the driver pool available, have much affect on the widget's speed or reliability?
I have about 40 GT5 friends... and if each of these guys had 6 drivers that would give your widget 240 drivers to sift through....
I can't. Look at the first post in the thread — the Widget is totally easy to crack open and view the source code of. Plus, I lay out 4 domains in widget.xml:on another note, i got a request to add on my remote grind account that only has me as friends....this widget doesnt harvest email accounts or psn's does it?

No, but I use Chrome or Firefox. Don't like Safari anymore after last few updates. Do get the occasional 400 in FF though, but only when the servers are really busy.do you get error 400's on safari in your mbp? I get it on all of my mac machines, mbp, imac, and mini.
Do you have an indication of how many times your widget has been downloaded?I think the Widget may be putting a strain on Polyphony's servers as more people use it.
Which I did, and your widget is completely harmless. 👍I can't. Look at the first post in the thread the Widget is totally easy to crack open and view the source code of.
I'd estimate that there are ≈200-300 users. It doesn't sound like a lot, but when each is hitting the server every 10 seconds or less, that adds up to a lot of traffic.Do you have an indication of how many times your widget has been downloaded?
