B-Spec Grinder 2.5.2: Automate Remote Races

This may be unrelated to the Grinder - but I thought I'd check and see if anyone had the same experience.

I was running B-Spec Grinder all night and all day yesterday and went to check on progress this morning. All my Bob's had been booted off of being shared and any credits that they almost certainly had earned were gone as well.

I was still on-line however and still singed onto PSN - so I don't know how this could have happened.

Thoughts?

Happened to me last week and I lost 8 million+ credits. No idea what caused it, but I'm sure it's nothing to do with the grinder.

8M - ouch.

I'm sure it wasn't the Grinder either - I guess I was wondering if Poly somehow could know we were using it and boot us out. . .but I guess not.

They could figure it out if they wanted to but I'm sure they'd rather fix real problems.
 
Just had a thought, is it possible to see some way how often your bobs get used by other people so I can be tracked through the widget?

Will let the people who B-spec grind a lot know who is also using their drivers in return.
 
I've setup a second account, so that I can host for some friends in my list, but of the 4 people, the app never uses one of my friends drivers, even if there are only 10 drivers on the grid, anybody encountered this, and solved it?

When I use my main account, where I have at least 25 Gt5 friends, the app does use those drivers...

+1. Or maybe a toggle setting that automatically adjusts how frequently you pick people based on how frequently they pick you.

Hear hear, I can't wait for friend selection.

I have online "friends" who are good to race with online, but don't host while sharing their Bobs. So I don't want to delete them, but want to give good hosters first preference, like:-

Go to your G-T.com page and click on Logs....shows you your history of races....

The person you added probably needs to sign on GT5 on their PS3 and use an online feature. Adding friends doesn't show up instantly.

Already in the works per a previous Yonis post (called "reciprocation mode" or something like that).
 
What's with the.temp server issues?
How about make.the.widget auto re try to connect. Left my ps3 in server mode.not.racing because.the widget.doesn't auto re.try to.connect. please add.that in the next update ASAP.

It does retry, every minute.

I suggest you go back to page one and re-read this thread...the server you are attempting to access is extremely important to maximizing widget use...
 
If it retires and I do believe you then it should.never stop.for hrs on end. Mine does. I use usa as I am in usa. It can say temp.server issue and stay that way till I manually close.Tue widget and re open to log on.

If it should work please let me know what could be going on. I'm at a loss.

This would be a great feature!
 
I think a good idea would be an option on specifically what race you wanted to run. I like running the NASCAR because the cars are very even. But also the LA Sarthe has the highest payout.

Been running the widget non-stop, and it only broke down when my ISP decided to have a 35 second "oops". Good Job!
 
Feature request: Selection of specific race.

I prefer to watch Circuit de la Sarthe when I'm doing work and letting the grinder run.
 
Only started using it a few days ago and no problems at all until tonight.

No problems with account verification and profile loading, but it sticks on monitoring server availability. I have tried changing my country to a bunch of different places without success, and have deleted and reloaded the widget. Have confirmed the PS3 is ready and waiting in server mode.

Anyone else having a similar problem at the moment? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Everything is still working fine for me. Has been running without issues since I switched it on about 10 hours ago.
 
Obviously I understand the HUGE limitations of the PS3 but would there ever be a possibility of a version able to be used on the ps3 browser?

I only ask as I dont own a PC or Laptop but would like to run remote races for my friends while I watch tv or while outside for a few hours
