Yes, it rocks. Mine has been rocking, i.e. running flawless, for the last 29 hours straight. Still connected to Singapore.

I had issues logging in tonight on 1.1.1 then upgraded to 1.1.3 and it logs in no worries

1 problem, the " , " for the money is a bit off. It says i have 411 Million credits in total on and offline

Says my bob who has 650,000 credit actually has 65,000,000 hehe would be nice :)

Awesome piece of kit though, will be running this again all day when im at work sunday

Just started using the widget today, but instead of getting 16 drivers in a race, I only get 13 drivers. Why is this? There are still drivers that my other friends have that aren't being used...

Also, I don't really get the free up thing. I thought you could only have one driver in your own race anyway...?

I love this program, but I'm constantly only getting 7-9 drivers per race and I know I could have more if I selected them myself... Is there something I need to change? I love the program, just wondering if there is something I could do.

Have you got it set to leave just 1 driver free? (Widget Preferences... / Races / Free up: [at least 1 driver])

Also, try the Singapore or Ireland server. (Widget Preferences... / Account / Country: [......])

How Many friends do you have? For the widget to fill races you need lots of friends with shared drivers.

Up and running, thanks to firefox, Ie8 & 9 couldn't get me to log in on the Gran turismo site.

Awesome app 👍

It works for me when my computer goes into sleep mode.
It will not work if the computer is in sleep/suspend/hibernate (S1 or S3 mode). If your screensaver kicks in and turns off your display, so long as the CPU is still powered up, it will continue to run.

Every single race, it only loads 5 other Bobs (6 racers total) and it always loads the 5 Bobs from the same person. I have a few other alternate accounts, each with 3-4 Bobs, so it can't be a lack of online drivers. My alternate accounts are only friends with each other, so it isn't possible for someone else to be using those Bobs in an online race. My settings are:

Race on: Long events
Free up: At least one
Server: Singapore (also tried US and Switzerland)
Version: 1.1.3

Exactly how many other accounts - friends - do you have?
If you have, for example, 3 accounts as well as your hosting account and each has, let's say 3 Bobs, then with 1 always left free you'll be racing 2 bob's from each account - that's 6 maximum.
If you only race your own accounts, try setting the 'Free up:' to 0, that way it should select ALL drivers from each account. You don't need to leave any Bob's free if you're only friends with your own alternative accounts (unless you're hosting from more than one PS3).

Reload widget and ps3, should fix it.

Thought about that, too. There are 4 other accounts, one with 4, one with 3, and two with 2 Bobs, plus my main, which has 6. When I use Free up: 0, it just selects all 6 from my main.

Reload widget and ps3, should fix it.

I've already switched between all the accounts to make sure each account is showing up in the in-game friends list, so the game has been restarted multiple times. I have already restarted the widget and my PC, but I haven't tried a full reboot of the PS3 yet. I'll give that a shot next.

When you say "reload widget", do you mean restart/reboot or uninstall and reinstall?

Side note: I used to live in NW1, near Regent's Park!

Then assuming you're using your 'main' to host, you're only ever going to get 7 (8 + your host) drivers maximum with the widget set to leave 1 driver free (1st with 4 - 1 = 3, 2nd with 3 - 1 = 2, 3rd + 4th with 2 - 1 each = 2 [3+2+2 = 7]).

He means run the widget with the debug window open by closing the grinder, but leaving the Yahoo widget running, hold CTRL + Shift then right-click the Yahoo widget taskbar icon. You'll then see a 'Debug Mode' option you can tick. Then run the grinder. The Debug window has a 'Reload' button.

It may also help to log out of GT.com, clear your cookies and log back in, then close and reopen the grinder (or Reload).

Small world, I was in Camden today.

Whenever I've checked on the widget, which is often unless I'm asleep or at work, always it has a full grid. I've never seen it without a full grid.

Race Length: Random (I never changed this through the various widget/remote race upgrades, even though all races are 20mins now)
Free up: At least one
Server: Aussie server was problematic weeks ago. Switched to US and never bothered changing it since.
Version: 1.1.3 (been running this since it came out, not the debug version). Hanging out for the super "friends selection" version. :sly:

Rebooted PS3, didn't help.

I'm using one of my mule accounts to host, not my main (trying to gather B-Spec points on my main. I'm tired of grinding B-Spec at level 34). The fact that it ALWAYS only selects drivers from my main account, not the other 4 accounts which have no less than 2 drivers minimum even when Free up is set to 0, makes me think it isn't related to a lack of online Bobs. It's like the widget can't see the other accounts when reserving drivers.

Oops. I just realized I was signed in to GT.com with my main account, while hosting remote races through the widget with my mule account. Signed out of GT.com and signed in with the mule account. Guess I'll see if that was the problem after this race finishes.

Edit: Nope, that wasn't the problem. Running the widget in debug mode and reloading had no effect, either.

Edit 2: Fixed it! When you send a friend request and he/she accepts it, they will instantly appear in your in-game friend list. However, if he/she just accepts it without logging on to GT5, such as if they are playing a different game or is in the XMB menu and then turns off the system, you won't be able to select any of his/her drivers through the remote race feature on the GT.com website until they log on to GT5 (you can still select the drivers manually through the game). As soon as they log on to GT5, their PS3 updates the server on Polyphony's end that the two of you are friends, giving you access to select each others' Bobs.

I'm assuming the side-bar on the GT.com website with a list of your friends is updated via the Playstation Network and the 'Remote Race' functionality is updated via the Polyphony servers, which would explain why they appear in your friend list on the GT.com website immediately but you can't access their Bobs for remote racing until they log on to GT5.

Great work!
Tried to use it when selecting United Kingdom and nothing happened
So for everyone who's having problems with it set to UK just change it to US and it works fine 👍

Mines set to UK and has been running strong for the last 6 hours.

really?  maybe I was doing something wrong, I'll try again with UK after this race
Just did it half way through the race to see what happened, immediately connected and loaded up fine with UK and carried on with the race I was doing! 👍

There are more factors than just which server you are on. I tested with Singapore vs US since everyone was saying that one worked better and my data showed otherwise. Singapore took longer to get a race going and had the same failure rate as the US server with the widget when using the same delay settings. I sent the data to Yonis and it sounds like he is going to cook up something that will help with unstable accounts/servers.

For the past week, I have yet to experience more than 12 hours straight of flawless b-spec grinding. The GT servers start failing at some point, some energy-saving option I missed puts my computer to sleep, I awaken to discover none of my primary account racers were ever entered into a race all night, etc...

And each and every time, it appears to have nothing to do with the b-spec grinder, it has to do with the POS GT servers, or amazon's cloud, whatever.

I have noticed if I am on the console and go to receive prizes on my drivers, a lot of times the credits will download, but the credit indicator won't go away on my driver. Every time this happens, if I logon to the US GT site and attempt to start a remote race, those drivers are not available for racing. If I logon to an alternate GT site, most of the time the drivers are available, but sometimes they are not. The GT cloud is flaky as hell.

I'm just saying, if you are experiencing all sorts of problems with drivers not getting selected, the problem is probably not with the B-spec grinder.... I almost always have to stop the widget, logon an alternate country GT site, start a remote race with all of the drivers I want, then bring up the widget.

Just started using this. Thanks!

It's great to see 5 of my drivers constantly racing. :D

And my friends appreciate it too. ;)

I've had that problem and it just eventually goes away the next time I view my drivers. I haven't had to log out or restart anything. Just exit driver profiles, then re-open.
