Never mind, AddGrg1 just answered that.
If we select reconnect automatically will it just keep trying until it can get through?
Any clues in the race logs or debug window?
I still can't log into the GT website. The Maintenance Notice still pops up when attempting to sign in. Poor widget and PS3 up all night with nothing to do!![]()
I can unfortunately report the same issue with the Australian server (if that makes any difference at the verifying stage...), widget times out when trying to "Verify Internet Connection" yet I can control remote races through G-T.com...Hope that it is a passing issue.
Yonis,
I'm running a 2+Ghz dual core AMD CPU with 4GB or RAM yet when I attempt to manage my drivers, the GUI is freezing and either becoming unresponsive or turning white completely as though none of the graphics have loaded at all. I then have to wait for it to show again which can sometimes take a few minutes.
I can close the grinder (or widget itself) completely and restart it (which resolves the issue) but I then lose whatever I was going at the time - not a great problem.
This doesn't happen all the time but seems to occur when the grinder has been running for a good few hours. I've checked its' CPU and RAM usage with Process Explorer and there doesn't seem to be excessive use of either.
I wondered if anyone else experienced this and wondered if you - Yonis - were aware of it.
Many thanks
Also having the same issues, can start a remote race from my PS3 no issues, but widget is continuing to verify internet connection.

Finally got all my drivers to level 40 and now i can't even race 'em. Can't login via the website and the widget using a variety of locations. Starting a race manually is possible but horribly slow.
Pretty sure the login server itself is down. I can't login in to gran-turismo.com
They've been doing maintenance for quite a while. Wonder if there's a PS3 update just around the corner?
ack, could be. I guess all we can do is sit and wait.![]()
